### "Xtime is necessary for any busy service department!"

Xtime is the best system for service. Period. We no longer have issues of appointments being mysteriously moved because accountability is built in. Before Xtime, it was nearly impossible to track and recapture declined services. Xtime helps a lot with retention as well. You can set up campaigns in Invite to make sure your retention numbers stay where they need to be. It's easy to customize for your service department's needs, including changing prices on the fly. Brilliant software that integrates perfectly with your DMS.

Pros

I love the way that every aspect of the Xtime suite compliments each other! Recapturing declined services has never been easier, thanks to Inspect and Invite. The software is genius. It's easy to track accountability, capacity and performance. You will see revenue increase if you implement Xtime in your service department and use all aspects of the software correctly.

Cons

The setup can be tedious. If you do not have it setup properly, you will not see the benefits you should. It's crucial you take the time with your Xtime rep to make sure it's setup they way it needs to be for your shop. Sometimes, with a new system, you're not sure what questions you need to ask and that can make it a long process to get things right!

Xtime is very user friendly, integrates with Vin Solution and Dealertrack. A must have for a busy service department!

Cons

Sometimes trying to customize capacities can be a bit tricky, but overall the product works great!

### "Xtime wants to do everything.. If only they'd do it well."

While I understand why management wanted to consolidate operations to one platform, every program Xtime replaced was better than Xtime's version - and this even felt true when Xtime updated versions of their own system. As an employee, it was quite frustrating to have systems that worked be taken away to be replaced by something that kind of did the same job but not as well. I preferred to work with separate programs that focused on doing one thing effectively than one program that did everything but only passably, causing a lot of frustration and generating extra work to make up for the shortcomings along the way.

Pros

Customers like being able to make appointments online; Xtime aspires to have every automotive service need served by one platform, which SOUNDS like it would be great if they could iron out the problems; Xtime Classic was user-friendly until it was discontinued

Cons

Xtime scheduler is clunky - every time we had an issue, the solution to fix it would cause other issues to crop up instead; I went back and forth with support for over a year on multiple issues that were still unresolved when I stopped working in the related position; any time Xtime tries to roll out new functionality it instead causes myriad bugs to pop up in the existing operations so it feels like one step forward two steps back; Xtime support answers quickly but their ability to actually resolve issues seemed limited

Other than backend issues with me, the customer interface is flawless and effected no one but admins

Pros

Easy integration, consistent, reliable, good information about how and when appointment was taken. User interface on customer side is amazing and simple

Cons

I used as a set and forget service. When I did try and use reporting for a payplan, found the reports to be glitchy due to an upgrade on the backend. Changes through support happen very slowly. The foundation is strong

We have a great rep that is always happy and willing to help us, and it's a product we use all day every day. I can't imagine life without it in the service drive. It is vital to managing our shop operations.

Pros

Xtime helps us to organize and manage shop capacity, daily appointments, and upcoming schedules. The system is easy to learn, and it's always accurate!

Cons

I wish there was a better option to schedule things based on technician units of time as opposed to number of appointments. It's confusing to work this kind of thing out, so our team has to do some guess work. Other than that, it has been a great product for us.

Excellent product

Pros

Allows you to set service appointments easily! Tracks services being sold the most, tracks daily appointments and everything in between! The software even tracks how long it takes to book an appointment or even how many appointments certain users book a day! This software allows you include product pricing so if customers set these appointments from their device they know what to expect when coming in! This software also sends follow up and reminder messages to customers and users!

Cons

There are no cons when it comes to using XTime!

I love being able to assist customers by booking their services if our team is busy. I loved how quick it was to learn, how easy it is to navigate and that after just a quick lesson I was up and running

Pros

I love how easily I 'picked up' xtime. I am the receptionist but help with service bookings when our service department is busy. One quick training session and I can easily book customers. It's extremely user friendly and is quick to learn

Cons

there is nothing I dislike - I find it easy to use and no bugs

Overall, Xtime is very user friendly and easy to use. Customer support is very fast and helpful. I have never worked with a system that was easier to learn or had as many customizable options to be able to fine tune our schedule to fit our shop perfectly!

Pros

Xtime has an awesome training course that makes getting started with Xtime very easy! Their customer support team is very knowledgeable and always very fast and helpful with problem solving.

Cons

As an automotive group with multiple service departments, it is sometimes hard to keep the different Xtime systems from merging and causing it to not be able to find the correct accounts for the correct service department.

Cons

The "next" button is hard to see on some screens, so hopefully they fix this.

My overall experience with Xtime is amazing other than the glitches at times. It makes scheduling appointments for customers a lot easier and to use it is very self explanatory.

Pros

This software makes it easy to set up appointments for customers, the information provided with Xtime just makes the experience 10x easier and faster for us to set up appointments.

Cons

Sometimes my Xtime has glitches to where I have to exit out of everything and start all over to get everything pulled up.

Overall a good product with some minor tweaks needed - would recommend to any large to midsize shop

Pros

The scheduling tool is spot on - allows the shop to be full everyday without double booking time slots

Cons

Does not always integrate with DMS software and you will not know if this happened until it is a major problem. Technicians request for parts was not going through because of a connectivity issue but an error was not returned so parts were not ordered and customers had to wait additional time

Pros

I LIKE THAT A CLIENT CAN GO ONLINE AND SCHEDULE WITH EASE ON THEIR OWN. IT ELIMNATES TIME ON THE PHONE. I LOVE HOW IT PULLS UP THE MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE.

Cons

I DO NOT LIKE HOW IT DOES NOT PUSH INTO OUR OTHER DMS, IF IT DID THAT IT WOULD BE PERFECT.
