The platform enabled me to setup a league and our website in very little time. The software is very easy to use, and anytime I have ever been stuck support has been very prompt Pros Robust team management software. Easy to use for novice compueter users. Even includes a spearate team app to communicate with parents and team in a secure place. You can email the entire user base and coaches as well. The platform also includes your own customizable team website. Did i mention its free?? Cons There is a requirement to link a bank account. For most users this is pronably just fine. Coordinator Recreational Facilities and Services Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Was impressed " October 18, 2022 3.0 SMHA and TeamLinkt have alot of work to do now that the season has started and they need to meet with zones registrars and fix all the issues so this works smoother next season. Potential here for great things but both SMHA and TeamLinkt missed the mark by not testing the registration-team activation at the zone level. You can do better for all zones. Pros This software works for teams chat, schedule and communication. But to manage a whole league from registration to payment to team activation it needs so much work. Really not impressed with the front end of TeamLinkt and I have always promoted TeamLinkt and I hoped TeamLinkt was ready to take on the full team management aspect but they need to do a lot of work to make it easier on the user. Cons Invoicing doesn’t show as player paid when they pay on invoice. If stripe doesn’t talk to the invoice then remove that option. List of players in registration defaults to 50. Change this to 250 as default as you start assigning teams then go to add more players but then all are unchecked. Generated reports do not save from .csv to .xlsx. And all columns are duplicated three times and left blank SMHA team info sheet is not in same format columns as TeamLinkt s import roster option. I have yet to find an issue they were not able to resolve quickly and successfully - and most of the time it was caused by 'user error' and not the program! Pros It is easy to navigate and the support team is spectacular! We switched from GoalLine in 2023 and it was the best decision we could have made. The website builder is very intuitive and allows us to rapidly respond and update as required. Cons Hmmmm ... let me get back to you on that one! Choosing to go with TeamLinkt has been one of the best decisions I've ever made for the organization. Having used several other platforms, I can say without reservation that TeamLinkt is the best. Pros Compared to other sports management platforms, TeamLinkt has them all beat. The interface is clean, functionality is logical and support is excellent. Setting up registrations and keeping track of rosters is easy. The public website is modern, easy to maintain and easy on the end-user. Cons The only thing I'd say is they could do a better job of providing instructions on upgrades they make. That said, they're always improving the experience. The phone app works really well and you can see everything clearly. Pros TeamLinkt is user friendly and has all the features of other sport apps. The team at Teamlinkt is amazing! When I first started to use it I had a couple areas that I had filled incorrectly so it wasn't letting me see some of the areas...a quick call and some trouble shooting got me back on track! No high pressure sales...just help! I initially began using it for my own team as I wanted a Canadian platform (tired of paying US dollars), I have since asked my Soccer Club to use Teamlinkt as it base site for all teams! So now, the Club is connected! And I was sent back and forth between Stripe and Teamlinkt. Someone has the money but no one can give you an answer on how to get it but you have to wait seven days. A CHECK CLEARS FASTER. Pros I love everything about teamlinkt. From being able to live stream games and even being able to print out player score sheets. Cons I HATE THAT THEY USE STRIPE AND THE 7 DAY WAIT PERIOD. Compared to the other systems that we looked at its ease of setup and operations heads and tails beyond the competitors. Our Club is happy yo recommend TeamLinkt to others. Pros Teamlinkt has been our goto registration and team management system literally since we launched just over a year ago. Early on we had some hick ups with the system - some of our own doing - but we have been able to adapt and work with TeamLinkt to rectify and correct issues.The registration and team management aspects of the software have been critical in the operation and growth of our Club having allowed us to focus on managing Club growth and day-to-day operations. Cons Our biggest issue with the software is the inability to simply interface invoicing with our accounting system. As the driver of revenue we need to understand collection issues on a timely basis. The other aspect that we would like to see further development on is regarding to discounts - some times coaches and registrars make deals with families that do not fit the standard and are sometime done post registration - while we have created a workaround, it would be nice to have the ability of the administrator to deal with these. Combined with schedules that can track attendance is very handy. Cons As a community association we require one membership per family before a family can sign up for a community program. We would like it if there was a way for TeamLinkt to recognize family members so that they wouldn't have to buy a membership for each family member. I should say we have brought this to Teamlinkt staff and they are currently working on a way to help us with this issue. They provide you 1 on 1 meetings with a staff member who takes full control of your account and make sure you are always satisfy with their services. You can to talk to them on video calls and they make you feel like family. I have been with other service providers but non provide quality customer service like TeamLinkt. Pros I love the features of been able to register players both online and offline while also providing quality roster services Cons I still haven't discovered something I don't like with this software but I know upon providing a review on any issue, a team linkt staff member or my rep will work with me to fix it. Reason for choosing TeamLinkt Quality services and good customer representative. Sometimes you just need someone to hear your ideas or struggles with an app to provide you with quality services. This is what is missing with other apps. Here you have a staff member you can book at anytime depending on their calendar and have a 1 on 1 meeting with about your account and they would do their best to solve your issue. Pros Able to set up an online registration without paying out of pocket. Like we can create a website, and there is a app. Like how its free, especially with just starting our program with no extra funds to use. Cons Should able to remove things you don't need, like player number and position. I run a cheer gym, and this is more football/soccer/softball team teams friendly. Be nice to be able add and remove buttons / slots. Need more font choices, sizes and so on. Be able to design website more, editing/set-up/style. Reason for choosing TeamLinkt had everything I'm looking for, just needs to add more customization to fit my needs. I use Band at the moment for my athletes' parents, and square for payments. It would be nice to communicate from one plate form. And I would like to be able to have parents fill out paperwork online and sign important papers for registration. Cons I wish I could copy a team admin to more than one other team at a time. We cooperate with a rec dept in another city who has their own software to create league schedules. We need to be able to integrate with that or at the very least be able to copy it and manually enter. There are many challenges to that. You can actually talk to a human when there is an issue and get a resolution. One thing that I do like is that amount of ads that you see - I totally get why they would be there, however, I hope that it does not get flooded with them, because then the power users will have a horrible time using the app. Cons With them being fairly new still, in the end to end solution for team management, including registration, payments and all communication, they are still learning. This year, we have had our struggles, however, the team has been pretty good in getting things fixed, or adding functionality to the software.
