For daily analysis it is really great and I do like it is very lightweight and fast. I use for it all my personal sites and recommend it to most of my customers. Pros It is cookie free and EU based, so my sites don't necessarily need a cookie wall. Cons I do miss path tracking in my analysis, although I assume that requires cookies. Quickly look and see how your campaigns are performing and see the high level data that you care about super easy and quickly and great to know that you can trust it. Pros Super simple straightforward analytics. The best thing we like about it is that we trust the data, not need to worry about cookie blockers or losing out on valuable data from people visiting from the EU. Also not complex setup to make sure it is GDPT etc... I works perfectly right out of the box Cons It is not as intuitive as you would think and sometimes it is hard to recognize that you have certain properties selected with a view the different data points. The other thing it is super basic, so if you have looking for deeper dives this is not the software for you. For more then 3 months i have my dashboard locked , because plausible.Io measured more the 10 000 page views per months for more then 2 months in the raw! Now i will not argue the accuracy of the measurements in comparison with google analytics, because i believe that plausible is a good tool with accurate measurements! The unfair part is that: Why have my dashboard blocked?! I mean i paid 1 year in advance and that means the last 5 months as i cannot see the dashboard i have paid plausible for nothing?! Why not just show the dashboard with the data of the first 10 000 page visits and the rest to be accessible when I upgrade the subscription??! I hope i explained cleared enough my point of view , and why i don't find it fair and hope you will reconsider the company policy to offer customers a fair service! Software Developer Computer Software Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Extremely simple analytics for people with no time to waste" June 9, 2019 5.0 As someone who gave up on trying to use analytics tools, Plausible made it possible for me to get the right amount of insights from my users whilst spending less time than I would setting up other tools. Pros Plausible's best feature is its simplicity. I tried using Google Analytics and the more privacy-focused Matomo in the past but gave up after a while due to how complicated I found the user experience. Plausible is very easy to setup \*and\* to use. The fact that you can see all your metrics in one page is a breath of fresh air. Plausible's focus on privacy was another key reason in my decision to try it and it's something I hope they maintain going forward. Cons Plausible nearly covers all my needs. May 31, 2020 5.0 I have tried many analytics tools and I never thought I would live GA for a paid one. Plausible changed my mind! Pros Plausible is a simple and privacy-friendly alternative to Google Analytics. Compared to GA, Plausible is not free but it is well-work the small cost. Its dashboard is clean and easy to understand, while your users won't have to accept any kind of cookies (which disrupt they experience). Cons Nothing I can think of. I feel less overwhelmed and, while not as powerful as GA, Plausible has all the data that the vast majority of businesses need.
