Cons The AI writer has been very repetitive, and I feel I should not have to manage and edit such an issue. The internal prompting should cover such issues. Cons Keyword strategy is a good feature, but in my opinion, it should allow creating multiple keyword strategies for a single domain project, especially when credits are used, so it's not a freebie. " February 5, 2025 5.0 I like that I get a tool that helps optimize content as well as other top tools like Frase and Surfer. But it has a huge edge because it's actually affordable and doesn't force you to spend money and lose credits as is the case with the other tools I mentioned. There's a lot of care from the team to generate results and educate customers. I appreciate that and like that I can achieve my SEO goals as an individual business owner with limited resources. Pros As someone who has invested in Frase and SurferSEO, I like POP because you can actually buy a specific number of credits at an affordable rate. You don't HAVE to subscribe on a monthly basis and then rush to use up all your credits before they expire. They seem to have really in-depth optimization suggestions and know what they're doing. I like that they have a very conversational tone going on throughout the site and actually feel like they talk to you. Cons What I mentioned as a benefit could also be a con - for example, their UX/UI is friendly and simple but you do get the sense you need to figure out stuff as opposed to the very fed approach by Surfer. Quite an intuitive tool if you're familiar with SEO. Good onboarding with helpful Q&A and walkthrough session. I've seen better results for my clients since starting so that's what I need. Pros The insights are really clear for page improvements and the optimisations have had fairly immediate results. I've mainly focused on the manual editor and NLP improvements which I've found just as good as other products I've used in the space. Cons I think the only real con I had with the product is how quickly credits are used. Not a problem on top plans for myself as a small one-person operation on the cheaper package, they go quickly. Cons Discordance between POP and SurferSEO but that may not be an issue with either product. The fact I could compete with very well-known brands/websites in a relatively short time frame was mind-blowing. Cons The suggestions can be confusing. At times after you implement a suggested change the tool comes back with a new update. While the tool then provides a new score it can take a while to reach a high enough score. This does not happen for easier keywords but a lot of it also has to do with my lack of writing skills. Before POP I was pretty much leaving pages alone or doing very little. POP provides all the data needed to make informed decisions on the what and where. August 4, 2025 5.0 Once you understand how it works, I find it quite easy to use. I also like the different subscription options and the fact that I can purchase credits individually. The optimization options are brilliant. Pros It is easy to use and you can implement the optimizations quickly. I particularly like the option to optimize and edit the text in the program and then check it before finally accepting it. Cons I can't say yet, as I've only been using opaque optimier for three weeks and am still getting used to it. But I think that if someone hadn't explained the first steps to me, it would have taken me a little longer. It would be nice if I could set the language to German.
