But it has a huge edge because it's actually affordable and doesn't force you to spend money and lose credits as is the case with the other tools I mentioned. There's a lot of care from the team to generate results and educate customers. I appreciate that and like that I can achieve my SEO goals as an individual business owner with limited resources. Pros As someone who has invested in Frase and SurferSEO, I like POP because you can actually buy a specific number of credits at an affordable rate. You don't HAVE to subscribe on a monthly basis and then rush to use up all your credits before they expire. They seem to have really in-depth optimization suggestions and know what they're doing. I like that they have a very conversational tone going on throughout the site and actually feel like they talk to you. Cons What I mentioned as a benefit could also be a con - for example, their UX/UI is friendly and simple but you do get the sense you need to figure out stuff as opposed to the very fed approach by Surfer. I highly recommend it and I appreciate the innovations that \[sensitive content hidden\] and his team continuously create. Pros I have found that POP provides some of the best AI content support. Many apps try to write too much content and they are very redundant and obviously AI driven. POP uses a combination of inputs from the user as well as analytics to shape the content then write it. The end product is usually very good. Cons Sometimes when it's pulling in competitive ranking sites, it pulls in the info type sites like Wikipedia and others that aren't relevant for local rankings....ie. you're not competing with Wikipedia, you're competing with other local competitors. I've tried at least 6 other apps that claim to do what PageOptimizer Pro does but none compare. Cons The more you understand the foundations of SEO, the better you'll be at leveraging POP. This is the only reason I wouldn't recommend the tool. If you're a complete novice throwing up a Wix site, it may not be for you. It would be better if it could tell me exactly what to change and do it for me. At that point SEO really would be "dead" like many people claim because it would be AI vs AI. I get better results with a fraction of the cost than other tools. I've tried the main ones out there. Pros The value for money POP gives is incredible. Its cheaper and actually better in 9/10 things than other competitor tools. POP gives detailed recommendations on what words to use to fully optimise titles, headers and content. It also provides what headers and how many of each the page is expected to have. It also does a gap analysis on your page, reviewing how your schema and EEAT signals compare to your competitors. The recommendations have proven to be superior to other tools. It also lets you monitor pages over time, letting you know when they need to be updated because changes in the SERPs have happened. The UX is good and is improving all the time. It's easy to have good UX for very simple software but not so much for a software with all the insights POP gives you, POP manages to that. Its as simple as needed for the basic user and as thorough and customised as required for the experienced SEO. Its also probably the only software that allows you to use your own GPT license, which makes using AI super cheap. Cons As all AI writers its not there yet. I feel other tools write better content out of the box which makes editing easier and quicker. I haven't been able to use the AI content from POP. Other tools might have better prompts. However as chatGPT gets better I'm pretty sure this will be solved. Having said that, the automatic outline process captures really well the topics an article should include. It gives you a good starting point for you to expand upon as they are already optimised with POPs suggestions for headers. At times after you implement a suggested change the tool comes back with a new update. While the tool then provides a new score it can take a while to reach a high enough score.
