Virtual Office has been a critical piece in getting our Call Center reps working remotely with complete access during COVID19 stay at home orders.

Pros

Relatively easy to set up and use, came with our new firewalls, so there's no licensing fees (that escalate evrey year for no benefit/platform upgrade, LogMeIn!).

Cons

Occasionally it freaks out and disconnects you, but it's easy to get back in. Screen resolution is meh.

Easy communication, phone calls & text!

Pros

I like that there's a text message integration. That is really helpful & handy. Easily our favorite feature.

Cons

A lot of times the call log does not load. It will show me missed calls on my screen but in the call log, not have a list.

Pros

I love how simple and easy the interface is. When I have missed calls or voicemails it only takes a moment to access them.

Cons

Sometimes the system gets a hiccup after listening to voicemails, and it takes a couple tries to delete old voicemails.

8\*8 allows our employees more function ability to work from just about anywhere, whether it is for work or pleasure or just to stay updated with the ongoings in the office

Pros

The ease of 8\*8 for our office is incredible. The entire staff uses it daily as it has become our virtual offices. It is great for our employees who travel.

Cons

In the short period of time that we have had it, many employees claim that it freezes quite often, specifically those with android phones. The Customer service team has been helpful with idea and suggestions . We think this is just temporary.

Cons

The 8x8 desktop application freezes frequently, making it difficult to successfully complete an outgoing call.

The helped with setup with all questions that we had. Ease of use with mobile handsets, real phones, or "phones" using your computer.

Cons

Dependent on internet connection. If your internet connection is slow, this may not be the solution/program for you.

This is a great cloud-based call-centre service and most of the things are working fine.

Pros

\- cloud-based - good web interface - very good android app - great call quality

Cons

\- on macOS, the softphone somehow changes the audio driver settings and when the app is running the sound quality through the headset is really bad systemwide (Spotify, Youtube) - there is no way to forward calls through the headphone (you must use the webpage or the softphone for that) - on the hard-phone from time to time the line gets disconnected for a second or so.

Everything is laid out in front of me and very intuitive to figure out. Fax, call, listen to VM's and organizing things is nice.

Cons

The cost. I hate per user fees. I don't feel that is fair but that is the market and how it is going.

You can message with your coworkers easily.

Pros

I like that it allows you to message with the members of your organization easily. I like that it lets you know when other coworkers are on the phone.

Cons

Very glitchy and causes your computer to run very slow as it uses a lot of computer recourses. Many times you have to shut the program down and reopen it just to be able to toggle off DND or just because it stopped working.

Now we don't have to be in the office to take every call and we don't have to give clients our cell numbers with the app that allows you to use your work number on your cell phone!

Pros

The 8x8 app makes it easy to make call directly from my cell phone when I am out of the office. I am able to text from the app and track every call I get, rather than being tied to my desk afraid to miss a call.

Cons

The app, while very useful, is somewhat glitchy. The texting is inconsistent and I do not always get texts clients say they have sent.

The overall experience once you know how to use it is great, and very effective.

Pros

What I like most about this, being in sales I am able to use my work phone virtually. Not all the time I want to make calls from my personal cell phone number, and 8x8 allows me to virtually call prospects with my work number on my personal cell.

Cons

What I like least was learning how to use the software. My company didn't give me a great rundown on the product, so it was on my own to learn it which was a little difficult.

Pros

I love being able to see and hear my voicemail and missed calls from my computer. It's much easier and simpler than the manual process of going through them on your actual phone. It also comes in handy when I'm not near my phone during meetings or when I'm working from home.

Cons

I find it difficult to do anything on 8x8 besides look at my missed calls and voicemails. I needed help from IT to figure out how to redirect calls from my desk phone to my iPhone when I'm out of the office, I wish the process were simpler.

Pros

It's nice to have an "office" line on my mobile from which I can also text.

Cons

It does not seem to integrate well with the iphone. I seem to miss a lot of calls. Or it will ring once and go to voicemail. Also, it randomly logs me out and I don't know it so I'll open it and realize I've missed a bunch of calls.

Works great on mobile and desktop. The call quality was overall consistently good and it did integrate with Salesforce

Cons

User experience wise, while being integrated with salesforce, there were constant pop ups throughout the day to log in, even if I was already logged in. It was not efficient

This product offers pretty much everything you'd expect from a high-end VoIP without the high-end price, including call recording and faxing. For most the faxing functionality is just a "nice to have" but for us, it was a feature we were specifically looking for. It also integrates with Salesforce and Microsoft Outlook, so old timers in the office will be more comfortable using it over some of the other VoIP options out there.

Cons

Not to be particular, but the interface is pretty ugly and clunky. Think login web portals in the mid-2000s.

Pros

There are some really cool features but unfortunately, they haven't worked for us.

Cons

My company implemented 8x8 back in October and at first I had a lot of hope. As I mentioned, they have really cool features. But they don't work, it is extremely unreliable. I have I get calls and I can hear it ringing through my headset but nothing pops up on the screen for me to actually pick up the call.

Pros

I liked the fact that it was easy to use and did not give me any problems. I would definitely recommend this software to a company that has a high volume of customer service calls.
