Cons

Sometimes I do not get the info of when the message was left so I'm not sure how old the message is.

Good idea but in all honesty I think it would have done a lot better probably a decade ago. I just don't see a reason to have this anymore in the face of global technology as it stands

Pros

The price is reasonable and the concept makes sense. It is a powerful communication tool if you lack access to other software. It's actually pretty easy to use when you get the hang of it

Cons

I have staff who is just as efficient without this by using desktop versions of WhatsApp and other types of messages. For voice calls conference calls we use Skype for business and it works just fine and now even FaceTime has multiple callers so I don't really see a need when most things are going mobile to have this type of app tied down to a PC or a Mac

I use 8x8 on a daily basis and at my organization, it's integrated with salesforce and there is no smoother way of tracking calls, offline time and a number of employees on a specific project than 8x8. I love recording the calls and having a specific time set to save them.

Cons

Not easy to use at the very beginning. It's hard to get the hang of it as an admin

Pros

What I liked about this product is that I am notified via email about voicemail messages. I often neglect the blinking light on my actual office phone due to not knowing if the voicemail is specifically for me or for another department.

Cons

Not quite sure how fast the email notification come in after voicemail has been received.

Pros

Great effort for technical support to know every details of there product they are so knowleadgable of there product , Even this product needs a lot of improvements.

Cons

Virtual office has a lot of bug to be repair , but we are hoping for its improvement so we can continue using it.

Pros

8x8 is easy to operate. Plug and play . It is also affordable and flexible in terms of pricing. It also work with other tools such as outlook and Netsuite.

Cons

There is no heads up display messaging option unlike what Fonality has. There is no 24/7 support and limited phone selection.

Pros

I can easily take calls from home when the office is closed. Patients can contact the clinic director without access to any personal cell phone info! It's so cool!

Cons

They took away the fax feature, which was super handy! Now just using adobe's scanning app. It's working well.

Overall its a great virtual office product. I can't think of anything functionally wrong with it.

Pros

I like that I can see who is calling my phone from my computer screen without turning my head! I love that VM's go to my e-mail.

Cons

I wish that there were more options for the ringtone on the computer module.

Good. No issues. Technical support is great, but you will pay a premium for it

Pros

Great product. Very useful for team collaboration. Support before the sale is very good. Testing and implementation is very easy.

Cons

The price. With how much this costs, I do not think it is worth it. There are a lot of other options out there that have a lot of the same options, they just do not have the bells and whistles that 8x8 has.

I don't care for the fact that the google extension will pop up in the middle of your screen every phone call

Its a Virtual phone service, that way can accessed from anywhere with a phone app and laptop.

Cons

Very bad connectivity. We have a decent internet connection and we still have call drops or loss of connection. if not that call will echo.

Pros

While I can’t say there is anything standout about this software, it works well for its purpose and always delivers the expected results.

Cons

My team has consistently reported non-responses or incredibly slow or unhelpful responses from the customer support team which seems to be disconnected completely from the tech and IT team.

My company handles nearly 3,000 phone calls a day with a staff of only 15 people. 8x8 has created a system for us to handle these calls in a timely and organized manner. I would recommend them to anyone with a business that includes a staff of 1 or 10,000. The phone's are slick, new and never cut out. Since we have started using 8x8 our customers have commented repeatedly about how our calls are being handled in a much more expedited manner

Can access from any internet device, laptop, desktop, smartphone. Home, office, travel....

Cons

Promised analytics, after delivery the analytics are an extra cost and poorly designed. Promised seemless click-to-dial with my ATS software, completely untrue and for the service I need IF they could create it, additional costs.

I was SCHEDULED TO TALK TO ONE OF THE SALESPERSON AND FOR 30 MINS. 8:30-9:00 AM NZT. BUT THE SALESPERSON DID NOT SHOW UP AND DID NOT EVEN RESPOND TO ALL MY MESSAGES. IT WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Pros

If YOU SEARCH ON GOOGLE FOR PHONE SYSTEM 8X8 IS ONE OF THE BEST OPTIONS.

Cons

International Calls ARE NOT CLEAR TO ME AND I ASKED SOMEONE TO TALK TO SOMEONE FOR CLARITY AND NO ONE ANSWERED.

Pros

The concept is great. The main thing I like is the ability to take calls from my laptop while I'm out.

Cons

I just didn't get it at first, and then I went a while without logging in, and now I can't login, and I have no idea how to get help.

Cons

Terrible customer support and sales staff. As soon as the solution was installed and billing started, the support disappeared.
