To be fair, I have yet to use 8x8 for meetings or messages, but it has been very helpful with calls and voicemails.

Pros

I like the easy to use nature that allowed me to quickly use it for my more simplistic needs.

Cons

Not a whole lot really, so far 8x8 has effectively met my needs.

Overall it is an ok voip system, however recently there have been more issues with the desktop app.

Pros

What I like most about this software is that it has a mobile application and I am able to take the calls practically anywhere I am, even when I am away from the computer. I am then able to connect back to the computer with a press of a button.

Cons

What I liked least about the software was whenever there is some sort of bug or issue, it is difficult to get support to fix the issue quickly. Especially lately it seems that there have been more and more bugs in the desktop app. Notifications haven't been showing up for call queues on time causing us to miss calls. Customers get a voicemail box is full even though there is no notice of it being full.

### "Practical but limited"

No major issues, but no one jumped up and shouted "this is great!". Rollout and implementation was quick and easy, but support needs work.

Pros

Competitively priced, easy setup, mobile friendly

Cons

Limited analytics, no ala carte options to add countries to calling plans, limited productivity features compared to competitors

### "Useful Product, but Suffers from QA Issues"

Useful product that could use some additional QA TLC

Pros

Virtual Office includes a good number of features and options to link in to my phone, such as online chat, messaging, VM, Fax, and in-app meeting invites. The product is getting some attention from the dev staff in-house and new features are being rolled out at a reasonable pace.

Cons

There is a disparity between the "Classic" version and "New Look" in which features disappear from one to other. So you need to choose between a full featured app with an old clunky UI or a slick UI with limited features. We also suffer from frequent disconnects from the messaging service. As a result, we would often receive messages sent a day or more earlier.

Pros

Call centers in three countries… The software is plug-and-play and easy to train new employees on, regardless of their business experience or education

Cons

Would prefer if 8 x 8 had their own cloud storage for recorded calls… Given that memory is so inexpensive now – and that the links would be stored in salesforce but the memory will remain in a cloud space as part of my 8 x 8 relationship

### "the ofice is any place in the world with this app"

Pros

It is very helpful, i work with people in diferents place in my contry and allover the world, with this app bussines not only become more eassier, also become more productive and successful. The UI make you want to married te app and the features that they provied you are just the one me and my team need

Cons

They have a lot to immproved in some OS like android or linux, in this OS the app go into bugs and some features stop working, things that do not happent in IOS, and the support center can not solve this issues. Another thing that is menor but still i think is a problem is the fac taht they shot down the fax feature, ok i understand that fax are becoming obsolet but when you work with people in diferents areas that tool is very time saver

Not a great company to deal with, look elsewhere.

Pros

The phone system did what it was supposed to do and was relatively easy to configure despite a somewhat outdated looking interface and backend.

Cons

Custom support is really poor with this company. I would spend your money elsewhere with someone that takes care of paying customers.

Great tool to have - especially if you work remotely a lot. But, it’s also handy to have if you move around in office and not always at desk phone.

Pros

Ease of mobility so I can take calls from ANYWHERE! Love that I can take call from desk phone, app on my mobile or thru app on computer- whichever is most convenient at the time.

Cons

Although, I do like the video conference feature sometimes it does glitch. Also, if app on computer desktop is not open then you don’t get chat messages or in coming calls. I have it to automatically open when I start computer but sometimes accidentally close it.

Overall, as long none of the 'cons' above are happening, it functions just fine!

Pros

\- I use the phone app for 8x8 so when I work remotely, I can take work calls. - I use the desktop application when I'm in the office to see who's on calls. - Pretty easy to change internal ring groups.

Cons

\- Frequently have to re-download the desktop application because it will start locking up, or showing co-workers on their phones, when they are not. - Frequently have to re-boot deskphone because 8x8 will show I have / don't have voicemails when I have / don't have any.

Pros

When I started to use it last year the line was clear and convinient to use, but the last three month it is difficult to fix it, the conection is bad .

Cons

I have purchased three devices from this company, but I couldn't fix it to 8&8 hone number. Futhermore team have insructed me for 2 hours but no results .

As we grew, 8x8 just wasn't a viable option for us any more. The call quality wasn't reliable enough.

Pros

I liked the UX of their desktop and mobile apps. it was really easy to use. integrated well with Salesforce as well.

Cons

call quality was always horrible. Got a little glitchy as well.

Pros

I like 8 x 8 for the fact that it is easy to use. Makes calling people very easy as well as texting very simple. Plus you can keep your privacy and have all the messages in one place.

Cons

This software honestly crashes quite a bit on my Mac set up and can cause some issues with connectivity. I don't know if it is the application that is doing it or the VoiP having issues with it however it does not work 100%.

Pros

One of the things that attracted me to the 8x8 platform was that I was able to record conversations automatically and that it also announced if I was being recorded.

Cons

I didn't enjoy that the customer support team took too much time to resolve an issue due to updates on the platform. Sometimes new releases were buggy and required me to download a previous version.

Cons

Not the best for conference calls and meetings. We also used this for faxing and that was always a challenge.

Absolutely none.

Pros

The quote I received was very good, I was going to save my money per month to transfer my 2 lines with similar features.

Cons

As of the date of this review: Pictures can not be sent via text using their mobile app. It was becoming a burdensome to finalize the transfer, I kept getting emails that the transfer was not complete, and there were errors, I called them gave them all my account information and still no luck on getting transfer complete, after almost 3 weeks of trying and a couple of calls, I decided to cancel order. It has been over 45 Days since I cancelled the order and they have not refunded the initial payment, which according to the terms of the agreement I was entitled to, I keep calling and I get transfer from department to department. Case # C1214093, Case # C2542447, Case # C2542551, so that 8X8 Can check what went wrong.

Pros

Reliable Easy to use and maintain Easy to add and remove users as well

Cons

The call queue gets stuck sometimes and it shows a call on hold for like 15 minutes even when there's no one in the queue. I wish I could control the volume of just the ringer and also modify the ringtones. I wish the caller ID would show the name as well as the number. It would be nice if I could make the page slimmer, I like to keep it on the right side monitor and all the way to the right so I can also have an internet window open but it will not allow me to make the window less than 5 inches wide.

### "Easy telephone use"

The benefits are quite simple. You can have the app downloaded on a device and be mobile while not having to use a cell number. When you want to not take calls (perhaps when business hours are closed), simply log off the app and you have your phone/tablet/laptop/computer back to it's normal self. Easy to use, quite reliable and a must for small businesses.

Pros

It is excellent for small businesses who don't want to have a landline physical phone or who like to move around with their laptop and not run to the phone every time it rings.

Cons

Not particularly outstanding vs other virtual/telephone applications. Occasionally buggy. Relies solely on internet, so if you do not have a reliable connection, it will not be a good primary phone.
