"So far amazing! "

**Pros:** Switching to Mangomint has been such a great decision for our salon. The transition from our previous system was incredibly easy—exporting all of our information was smooth, and the Mangomint team has been beyond helpful. They are quick to respond, knowledgeable, and truly supportive every step of the way. We’ve only been live for about a week, and our clients are already loving it. The online booking is clean, easy to use, and visually appealing. Clients especially enjoy being able to upload inspiration photos directly when booking their appointments, which has been a game changer for consultations. The client communication and texting features alone have been a lifesaver. With our previous software, we couldn’t see message history or conversations, which made things confusing and inconsistent. Mangomint keeps everything organized and visible, eliminating the guesswork entirely. We’re also very excited to run payroll for the first time next week. Having direct deposit and not needing to manually handle employee taxes or send everything to our accountant will save so much time and stress. We can’t wait to continue exploring everything Mangomint offers and see how much more efficient it can help us become—for both our team and our clients.

**Cons:** Things we dislike at the time Cannot charge a surcharge on credit card and am ECO fee with being a Green Circle Salon Not being able to Intergrate Vish Color system Top production report for all The stylist teeth for a certain date range. Showing all on one paper. Having total clients, service $ per hour, retail to service %, retail $, prebooking%, client retention. So we Don’t have to have a report for each one and back. When a sale is closed and done. The screen doesn’t close or give you a button to click On to be done and not keep a screen up for what was rang up. Having to click appointment book then it wants On make an app and then you have to close that out just to clear Sales Screen after someone pays. Have option or a box to pop up when ringing out client to remind the person ringing them up to ask client to prebook.

"Worth Every Penny — Paid for Itself in 3 Months"

**Overall:** Overall, Mangomint was one of the cleanest, easiest-to-use salon software platforms we’ve worked with. The booking system was smooth, the interface was modern and intuitive, and our team picked it up quickly without much training. When we switched from our previous software, which we’d used for two years, our bookings increased by 20%. That alone made the transition worth it. While there were a few limitations around pricing customizations and texting privacy, it was a major upgrade in terms of user experience and daily operations.

**Pros:** It was super clean, easy to use, and way more modern than a lot of other salon software. The booking flow made intuitive sense, it was simple to manage multiple stylists and types of services, and we didn’t need hours of training to get the team up to speed. I also liked how customizable the settings were, which made it easier to work with our hourly, gratuity-free setup. Bonus points for outstanding customer support when we needed it.

**Cons:** We wish the timing and pricing customizations increased by a percentage instead of a flat dollar amount. With our hourly pricing model and each provider having their own rate, this feature didn’t work for us and made pricing adjustments a manual process. We also wish the two-way texting feature allowed conversations to be private between a provider and their client, instead of making every conversation visible to the entire salon team.

**Reasons for Choosing Mangomint:** Honestly, we chose Mangomint over Phorest and Boulevard for two simple reasons: 1. The vibe with the sales rep was on point. It was super clear Mangomint genuinely cares about their team and invests in training them on building real relationships. I appreciated that our first rep never once talked poorly about any other company or brand—felt honest and respectful. 2. The client-facing side of Mangomint is the easiest to use, with the least number of clicks to book an appointment. That smooth, simple experience matters a lot to us and our clients.

**Reasons for Switching to Mangomint:** Aura broke our confidence and trust in them multiple times. We dealt with booking errors and client difficulties almost daily, which created constant stress for our team. On top of that, we suffered thousands of dollars in lost revenue because of how unintuitive and unreliable their software was. It made simple tasks harder than they needed to be and directly impacted our business in ways that weren’t acceptable.
