Overall, I’d give it a solid 10/10. The support team is always on top of things, quick to respond, and genuinely helpful. Any time I’ve had a question or needed assistance, they’ve made the process easy and stress-free.

Pros

I absolutely love their booking software! It’s smooth, intuitive, and makes scheduling effortless for both clients and staff. Such a great experience overall!

Cons

There’s nothing I really dislike. One area I think could be improved is adding an expiration date option for account balances or unused credits, so they can automatically roll off over time.

Absolutely poor quality. Customers didn’t even know how to streamline appointments, and the system forced clients to create accounts while capturing their emails, which could be used by other spas in the area. We ended up losing many regular clients because of this outdated software.

My overall experience has been great. They listen to my requests about what I need. They are prompt in helping when I have questions.

Pros

Our online booking is so much easier with Mangomint. Guests have commented repeatedly how easy it is to use, customer support is top notch!

Cons

There are some formatting issues in reports, and there are some reports I would like to have. I would also like a drop down menu that would allow more details about salon guests, such as shop guest, referral, repeat, request, new request

Terribel. As soon as you are done onboarding there is no customer service. They will tell you that they aren’t available dor phone callsz once i tried to cancrl i learned my entire account will be deleted and ill never have access to any of those files. I have used many scheduling systems and this is not the case. Mangomint also nickel and dimes you for add ons and becomes very expensive quickly

Pros

It is simple. Clients did not complain about online booking

Cons

There was no way to have a deposit go to a clients account if they has already prepurchased a package. Almost making prepurchasing more inconvenient to clients

Cons

Not able to compare pictures side by side and show to the patients the before and after. We have to use another app for that.

I've had an incredibly positive experience with Mangomint. I can't speak enough about their customer service and how helpful they are in answering any and all questions you have.

Pros

Mangomint is incredibly user friendly, and if you run into any issues their chat support is quick to reply. They have an extensive FAQ that walks you through every single feature and process. Online booking is easily integrated into your website with intuitive scheduling management. For example, it will ensure appointments are booked without a weird gap in a service provider's schedule. There are options to ensure one provider isn't favored over another when it comes to online bookings. Security has always been top notch on both the client and staff side. Card information is safely stored and only shows staff members the last 4 digits, never the full number. You have to walk through multiple steps to charge a client's card so they should never be accidentally charged. Client information is also secure with their personal information being able to be withheld from certain staff members. I could go on and on about each feature, because there are so many detailed and helpful ones from day to day business operations to appointment bookings. Easily the most comprehensive booking system out there.

Cons

We had tried their payroll processing system for a month but it wasn't built out enough for us to justify swapping over from our current platform. It's a more expensive option with fewer features.

I love this platform. I've been using it for years. It makes booking online & manually extremely easy. Anytime I have ever had a problem they have always fixed it. The customer service is amazing. It's worth the money. I also love how they are always looking for ways to be better.

I really enjoy Mangomint. When all of our systems seem outdated, it's nice to have a modern, colorful, and efficient way to schedule our patients.

Pros

I like having an easy way to see our schedule, as well as being able to direct message patients. I also like that there is a way to jump to 4,6,8 weeks from a certain date for scheduling purposes.

Cons

I think there should be a way to auto-select rooms instead of immediately going to all staff when changing locations.

Overall I like it and haven't had any major issues. Again, there can be improvement but it's not an end factor.

Pros

It is definitely user friendly, especially for those who are not tech savvy. Scheduling/appointment is both easy for staff and patients - just with a click of button! I also appreciate the help chat!

Cons

I wish there is a better way to chart injectables, like botox. For example, have a face for the provider to mark on the face. I also wish there was a way to compare photos for before and afters.

I’m a huge fan of MangoMint. The user experience is easy and seamless, the customer support is top tier and it works for my team.

Pros

The customer support is unmatched. The response time is so quick and you’re clearly speaking with an actual human that isn’t just reading a script but knows how the system works and wants to see you succeed without wasting your time. Also, I love the features like two way messaging, text reminders and our ability to write our newsletter and filter clients based on the message we’re sending.

Cons

I wish when running reports that there was a drop down menu instead of having to scroll through each month. Additionally, I’m really getting into tracking my KPI’s and sometimes I have to play around with the reports to get the info I need. But overall I’m still really happy with the reports you can run.

Overall, Mangomint is my 3rd software in 9 months. I am obsessed with Mangomint and will utilize your platform for the foreseeable future. The user interface is top notch above other software demos I have endured. Although Mangomint is higher priced than other platforms, the additional features justify the price (the value for money).

Pros

Mangomint is fantastic for the customer experience with booking and adding additional services. I can easily add a custom items for extra profit building (customer support). The profit team was essential in assisting my small business with tips and tricks for improving customer retention. The payment processing is in line with the other salon platforms. Customers rave about the security of Mangomint while booking online. Their card information isn't saved unless they choose; and they like that they don't have to do a profile.

Cons

I would suggest that Mangomint utilize text campaigns more and work this into their platform. I used Gloss Genius and I noticed I had a better ROI with text messages versus email campaigns. The refund process is poor. I have had charge back requests. There should be a streamlined process for returning deposits. The scheduling system isn't conducive to teams. I have to go between 'work hours' for each person and the appointment schedule. I have to use my iPhone to look at one view and the laptop for another. In California our nail techs are W2--which means I do their schedules. I request an At A Glance scheduling upgrade.

We have been using Mangomint for 14 months. The customers even like the software and how easy it is for them to book appointments online and purchase gift cards. We have had a much lower no show rate due to the amount of communication messages that get sent to our clients as well. The ease of navigation, learning center and customer support are top notch! I cannot say enough good things about Mangomint.

Pros

What I like most about Mangomint, is how easy and quick customer service gets back to me when I have a question regarding the system. I personally set up the software for our Day and Med Spa and Mangomint was with me every step of the way. I also like how they take my recommendations into consideration and often do updates/upgrades to make the system work even more flawlessly.

Cons

There is honestly, nothing I like least about Mangomint. It's very user friendly. I have trained my entire front desk staff on the software, and we have minimal issues with it.

10/10 I would recommend it to any service provider. It is so easy to use. As a service provider taking care of people all day, I know how important it is to make people feel seen and heard. Mangomint cares about its users too and they sent out notebooks!

Pros

I love Mangomint! I love how it is super user friendly. I am able to send clients messages and “flows” which enhance the client experience.

Cons

If I could change one thing about Mangomint it would be the ability to book a client without restyling their name in. It would be helpful to click on a client you are checking out and book them right from there.

The payroll center is very easy to use. I love that you can input the employees commission percentage and it calculates their pay. I also love that you can input the cost of products, it then calculates commission on the products minus the cost of product. Client messaging is also very useful. Check out options for zelle, credit card, cash, Apple Cash is very useful

Cons

I would like to see the following improvements: An option for a quick touch button or message to sent to clients letting them know your ready for service them. Being able to drag an appointment or stretch it without editing it Being able to change service type without deleting the entire service The system to be smart enough to avoid random gaps. Different stylists have different haircut time. Example, some stylist take 20 mins for a men’s haircut, some 30 mins, others 40 mins. I would like haircut options to be offered to clients at times that avoid random 10 or 20 min gaps. We can have to manually move the appointments by calling each client to fill in the gaps to create extra appointment spots

Overall, Mangomint was one of the cleanest, easiest-to-use salon software platforms we’ve worked with. The booking system was smooth, the interface was modern and intuitive, and our team picked it up quickly without much training. When we switched from our previous software, which we’d used for two years, our bookings increased by 20%. That alone made the transition worth it. While there were a few limitations around pricing customizations and texting privacy, it was a major upgrade in terms of user experience and daily operations.

Pros

It was super clean, easy to use, and way more modern than a lot of other salon software. The booking flow made intuitive sense, it was simple to manage multiple stylists and types of services, and we didn’t need hours of training to get the team up to speed. I also liked how customizable the settings were, which made it easier to work with our hourly, gratuity-free setup. Bonus points for outstanding customer support when we needed it.

Cons

We wish the timing and pricing customizations increased by a percentage instead of a flat dollar amount. With our hourly pricing model and each provider having their own rate, this feature didn’t work for us and made pricing adjustments a manual process. We also wish the two-way texting feature allowed conversations to be private between a provider and their client, instead of making every conversation visible to the entire salon team.

Honestly, we chose Mangomint over Phorest and Boulevard for two simple reasons: 1. The vibe with the sales rep was on point. It was super clear Mangomint genuinely cares about their team and invests in training them on building real relationships. I appreciated that our first rep never once talked poorly about any other company or brand—felt honest and respectful. 2. The client-facing side of Mangomint is the easiest to use, with the least number of clicks to book an appointment. That smooth, simple experience matters a lot to us and our clients.

I love that Mangomint feels like a small company, but they have the most affordable options, and really great features, it is very user friendly, and customer support is easy to connect with.

Cons

I’d love to be able to access the express booking feature for a small fee vs. having to upgrade to the next tier level.

Best customer experience I have ever had and I've tried onboarding with Salonbiz, Zenoti, Vagaro, and Mindbody. The bigger companies with more options have been nightmares to deal with and we actually stayed with Mangomint while trying to onboard with Salonbiz because Mangomint elevated themselves so much during our awful onboarding, that not having the Aveda Points just no longer carried enough weight to let us leave.

Pros

Ease of use, AMAZING customer service, intuitive app, plugins that make it so customizable without being forced to pay for each upgrade, the client chats that the whole staff can see, very customizable menus, easy online booking for clients, customizable menu links for each category of the menu. I could go on and on about it.

Cons

The payroll onboarding has been a little clunky, but they have left me feeling supported regardless. Other than that, I don't love that only ipads work for the kiosk options but that's a MINOR issue. The only other thing that I don't love is the non option to have a connection with Aveda Plus Rewards, as an Aveda salon. But I have fingers crossed that will eventually be an option!

Pros

I love the support system of Mangomint. We just type our questions in and we get an answer! It’s awesome!

Cons

Some of the reporting. It’s missing a dashboard. A quick glance of numbers would help.

Book4time was too expensive. It was nice because it interfered with the rest of the resorts platform. But it was way too much money. Phorest was a close second, but I read a couple reviews that were negative. So we went with Mangomint.

Anytime I’m unsure how to do something, I can jump into the live chat for support or head to their online learning center—it’s super easy to find not just the answers, but also step-by-step videos that walk you through setting up or changing any feature. The personalized online forms are a breeze to create and adjust, and don’t even get me started on the marketing tools—there’s so much value packed in! My team, my clients, and I all love how intuitive and user-friendly Mangomint is. I seriously can’t imagine running my business without it.

Pros

Ease of use. I appreciate the constant live support.

Cons

Not being able to review all reports on mobile without downloading a pdf.

I have used a lot of different booking software for massage, this one is by far my favorite, from the simple layout and ease of booking different appointment types, to the analytics, it has everything you need.

Pros

It has a simple layout that makes it easy to book clients, fill out their soap notes and add files. I also enjoy the analytical side. They update almost instantly and make’s it easy to track daily and weekly totals!

Cons

Can assign different colors to each practitioner to visually keep appointments organized by practitioner.

If you give it a chance I think most will agree this system is user friendly and once you work with it it’s a snap to adapt to

Pros

The Mangomint support team has been terrific. There’s always a learning curve when using a new software program and I feel their salon system really covers all the bases and more

Cons

I really have yet to come across a problem with this system. This is my 3rd salon software system and honestly it did take a little getting used to but I kind of expected some challenges switching from old to new

I love the mangomint booking software!! Beautiful look, easy to learn and use, simple interface between the POS, booking system and product scanner. I have no idea who created this software but I would love to shake their hand because everything makes sense, everything is where you expect it to be and there's no weird buttons in order to try to find other things, nothing is hidden under weird categories, for example, if a client walks in off the street and wants to buy product and they've never been there before you click the button sale and then click at the top where it says make a new sale and it's got a bar scanner so you scan the product and you have the option of entering a client's name and phone number or just cashing out. Very simple! I 100% recommend this for everybody!!

Pros

Very easy software system! I am not a person that is great with technology, at all, I've worked at a few different spas and almost every single spa software had a massive learning curve, some of them I spent 6 months trying to work with and still couldn't figure it out, mangomint took me 15 minutes to learn.

Cons

The name is a little weird but other than that there actually is no cons to this Spa software.
