Mangomint has helped Fix Studios get back to focusing on our clients instead of our platform. It is nice to partner with a company that values it's clients as much as we do. I cannot say enough how the surprise swag box impressed me. It made me feel like Mangomint values Fix Studios just like we value our clients.

Pros

Fix Studios switched to Mangomint after utilizing an overcomplicated, frustrating platform. Mangomint is a tremendous value for the money and their customer service is fantastic. When we made the switch to Mangomint it was so easy and the data import was done with impressive time. The user inertface is easy to use and customization features are great.

Cons

What I like least about Mangomint is that their customer support is so fast at answering their chats I don't have time for the ladies room.

10/10 I would recommend it to any service provider. It is so easy to use. As a service provider taking care of people all day, I know how important it is to make people feel seen and heard. Mangomint cares about its users too and they sent out notebooks!

Pros

I love Mangomint! I love how it is super user friendly. I am able to send clients messages and “flows” which enhance the client experience.

Cons

If I could change one thing about Mangomint it would be the ability to book a client without restyling their name in. It would be helpful to click on a client you are checking out and book them right from there.

Very satisfied with the constant stream of updating and adding new capabilities! And the customer support and chat service is superior!

Pros

I would be extremely likely to recommend Mangomint's software service. One of the things I enjoy most is their customer support and chat service. It is incredibly helpful, quick, and hands-on. The team is always kind and goes above and beyond to assist. While there are many things I appreciate about Mangomint, I particularly love their innovative spirit. They are always keeping things fresh and new. For a newer software company, they are consistently expanding, changing, and adding new features. Their Learning Center is also an incredible resource; there hasn't been a single issue I've encountered that I couldn't resolve with the help of the Learning Center.

Cons

I would like to see better / more in depth, reporting capabilities. And possibly a better system for tracking discounts.

Incredible! We love this platform and are so happy with it. It's worth every penny and makes my life easier every day.

\- Quick Refresh Rate - Detailed Client History and Timeline Options - Client Notes vs. Appointment Notes (offers both seperately) - Merging Duplicate Client Feature (easy and quick) - Multiple location options (great for pop-ups and mobile businesses) - Client Check-In Process (color coded / no-show options) - Client Check-Out Process (storing credit cards, option for client to check-out on their cell phone) - Messaging / Texting Feature - Customer Service & Tech Assistance

Cons

\- No "Pop-Up" Consent / Acknowledgment Feature - No Mass-Client Messaging Feature for Marketing - We have multiple locations. MM doesn't have separate booking links for different locations, just one for all locations, and the client has to click the correct location. They often click the incorrect location and book at the wrong location.

Absolutely wonderful. Start to finish the process was great. I love that all of my employees have access to the learning center for quick answers.

Pros

The customer service is INCREDIBLE. Their chat feature connects you to an actual human that works on the problem until it's solved. The setup support was excellent.

Cons

There are a few little things I wish it could do, mostly involving drag and drop. Very minor things that just bug me personally but I'm sure most others would have to issue with.

Overall, our experience with Mangomint has been really positive. It’s a sleek, user-friendly platform that helps us run our studio more efficiently, and we love that the team is responsive to feedback. While the pricing and some add-on costs can be frustrating, the continuous improvements and strong support make it a valuable tool for our business. We're excited to see how it continues to evolve.

Pros

Mangomint is fantastic at listening to its users. When we’ve made suggestions, the team genuinely takes them into consideration and often works to implement them. The platform is also very reliable and constantly evolving to meet the needs of growing businesses, which we really appreciate.

Cons

The price point is quite high compared to other CRMs, which can be a barrier—especially for smaller businesses. Basic customization options, like editing reminder emails, require additional marketing credits. It would be nice if more core features were included without extra fees. Paying extra for the Shopify integration just to sync inventory feels frustrating, especially since we’re already paying premium pricing for the software itself.

Overall, my MangoMint experience has been great! As mentioned in the "pros" before hand, it's very easy to use and has majority of the features needed to run our business! I personally haven't needed to reach out for customer support, but from what co-workers have mentioned, they have been great!

Pros

How easy the user interface is. The amount of features it has to run our business and be able to run the reports needed. Appointment management has been really easy to move, migrate and have the data records for history and upcoming.

Cons

There are a few features that would be nice-to-have. I'm sure they will think about them at some point and look forward to those updates!

Overall, Mangomint was one of the cleanest, easiest-to-use salon software platforms we’ve worked with. The booking system was smooth, the interface was modern and intuitive, and our team picked it up quickly without much training. When we switched from our previous software, which we’d used for two years, our bookings increased by 20%. That alone made the transition worth it. While there were a few limitations around pricing customizations and texting privacy, it was a major upgrade in terms of user experience and daily operations.

Pros

It was super clean, easy to use, and way more modern than a lot of other salon software. The booking flow made intuitive sense, it was simple to manage multiple stylists and types of services, and we didn’t need hours of training to get the team up to speed. I also liked how customizable the settings were, which made it easier to work with our hourly, gratuity-free setup. Bonus points for outstanding customer support when we needed it.

Cons

We wish the timing and pricing customizations increased by a percentage instead of a flat dollar amount. With our hourly pricing model and each provider having their own rate, this feature didn’t work for us and made pricing adjustments a manual process. We also wish the two-way texting feature allowed conversations to be private between a provider and their client, instead of making every conversation visible to the entire salon team.

Honestly, we chose Mangomint over Phorest and Boulevard for two simple reasons: 1. The vibe with the sales rep was on point. It was super clear Mangomint genuinely cares about their team and invests in training them on building real relationships. I appreciated that our first rep never once talked poorly about any other company or brand—felt honest and respectful. 2. The client-facing side of Mangomint is the easiest to use, with the least number of clicks to book an appointment. That smooth, simple experience matters a lot to us and our clients.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience . If you are thinking about leaving Mindbody, just do it!

Pros

Mangomint is so sophisticated! The booking flow is exactly what I needed! Everything is quick and easy and the set up is very intuitive! I love everything about it and so does my staff and clientele!

Cons

The only feature that I miss is that the clients are able to book directly to the schedule. I did like that they had to send a request in and we approved it on my other pos software. But the way mangomint is offering my open availability seems to be working great so far! I think we might realize we do not need the request feature at all!

So far I feel so great about Mangomint. The onboarding process was so personalized which made it feel really special. I felt like they actually cared about us and our business as opposed to other software companies who treat data migration very different. You feel considered and taken care of. Between the user-friendliness, ease in online booking and amazing customer service, this software is a no-brainer for businesses.

Pros

So far, so good! The data migration process was almost seamless and very personal. \[sensitive content hidden\] was so helpful throughout the entire process. Although there were a few small issues post-migration, she immediately attended to our concerns and fixed everything - even on a weekend! So far this is the best software we have used. It is extremely intuitive, fast, reliable and totally user friendly. Their online booking integration allows clients to book straight from your website - making appointment booking easy and streamlined (getting you more appointments). I have been using it only for a week and I feel like a pro. It is truly so much better than any other software we have used in the past. Also the customer service is AMAZING! They respond so fast and will actually help you instead of giving you links to useless articles. They actually helped me implement the online booking integration to our website on a Sunday, no less!

Cons

So far I have no complaints. The only thing that MangoMint doesn't have is the ability to book packages with multiple providers (if a package requires multiple service providers, that is). However, there are very easy solutions to this issue. Also the reports are a bit lacking in terms of detail, but I am hoping that this is something they can update in the future!

Boulevard was way too expensive. It didn't really seem like it was worth the price given their high credit card processing fees and their lack of ability to segment themselves from other booking software that offer the same services. Seemed just like a fancy system that didn't really have anything new to offer.

Vagaro was less than desirable. Our consistent issues were ignored and the only offer to compensate was for us to call them. We lost so much revenue from glitches, clients ability to delete their payment method from their profile, preventing us from being able to charge a cancellation fee, clients are forced to create an account with Vagaro in order to book which turned away so many appointments, The credit card processing fees for card-not-present was exorbitant. We will never go back.

That I cannot use my stripe capital access funds I transact with since this would be extremely helpful to expand more locations and will make more $ with mango but unfortunately cannot get stripe capital because mango is not apart of that

I didn’t like the transfer process. It was down through text and delayed. When I got a call it speed the process but getting the call for help was hard

I really enjoy Mangomint. When all of our systems seem outdated, it's nice to have a modern, colorful, and efficient way to schedule our patients.

Pros

I like having an easy way to see our schedule, as well as being able to direct message patients. I also like that there is a way to jump to 4,6,8 weeks from a certain date for scheduling purposes.

Cons

I think there should be a way to auto-select rooms instead of immediately going to all staff when changing locations.

The transition from our last system was easy. Everyone was super helpful from the start and respected how many questions we had in the beginning until it became our new normal. Customers had no issues with the change for online booking and love that they don't need a password to sign in. We also love the fun merch we got and proudly wear our stuff all the time to support! Consistent updates and improvements show us Mangomint is one to stick with and continue to grow our business as they grow theirs.

Pros

We love so many things about Mangomint! First off, customer service is stellar. They are positive, helpful, and quick. We love using both the desktop and mobile app together for scheduling and customer texting. Customers love online booking as well!

Cons

We would like to have the option of seeing a full week view on the desktop calendar screen. We would like to see the actual add-ons listed in the calendar appointment block so none are overlooked. We would love to see the suggested tip percentages be based on the original service cost, not after discounts are applied. Also would like the option for the customer to be able to add a tip on the client facing ipad if their total is $0 due to a prepayment.

Pros

I love that Mangomint feels like a small company, but they have the most affordable options, and really great features, it is very user friendly, and customer support is easy to connect with.

Cons

I’d love to be able to access the express booking feature for a small fee vs. having to upgrade to the next tier level.

I love the support that has been provided form start to finish, from the person who explained how mangomint worked and how it might best suite my needs, to after I signed up and the people who have walked me through every step of start up.

Cons

So far there is nothing I don’t like about mango mint. I’ll report back if there is anything that stands out.

Cons

There’s a bit of a learning curve at first, and a couple features I wish were more customizable, but nothing major. Once you get used to it, it’s seamless.

Pros

I like the aesthetic of the whole thing, I feel like I have seen other booking sites in the past and noticed how cluttered they look compared to mangomint’s more sleek look.

Cons

There is nothing I can think of that I like the least, there are some things that you just need to play around with in order to figure out which takes some time but there is no avoiding the learning period on how to use it!

It's been a decent experience. When I've had set up issues, I've been able to use their chat support and even schedule phone support.

Pros

Intuitive to set up and use. Clean user interface. Decent value for the money. Customer support is good.

Cons

Somewhat limited - especially if not a hair salon. It's near to impossible to have every feature that everyone wants - and not end up with a complicated mess. But, there are still some features I wish the product had - like true unlimited membership.

I love the mangomint booking software!! Beautiful look, easy to learn and use, simple interface between the POS, booking system and product scanner. I have no idea who created this software but I would love to shake their hand because everything makes sense, everything is where you expect it to be and there's no weird buttons in order to try to find other things, nothing is hidden under weird categories, for example, if a client walks in off the street and wants to buy product and they've never been there before you click the button sale and then click at the top where it says make a new sale and it's got a bar scanner so you scan the product and you have the option of entering a client's name and phone number or just cashing out. Very simple! I 100% recommend this for everybody!!

Pros

Very easy software system! I am not a person that is great with technology, at all, I've worked at a few different spas and almost every single spa software had a massive learning curve, some of them I spent 6 months trying to work with and still couldn't figure it out, mangomint took me 15 minutes to learn.

Cons

The name is a little weird but other than that there actually is no cons to this Spa software.
