I couldn’t have asked for a better experience . If you are thinking about leaving Mindbody, just do it!

Pros

Mangomint is so sophisticated! The booking flow is exactly what I needed! Everything is quick and easy and the set up is very intuitive! I love everything about it and so does my staff and clientele!

Cons

The only feature that I miss is that the clients are able to book directly to the schedule. I did like that they had to send a request in and we approved it on my other pos software. But the way mangomint is offering my open availability seems to be working great so far! I think we might realize we do not need the request feature at all!

The Mangomint support team has been terrific. There’s always a learning curve when using a new software program and I feel their salon system really covers all the bases and more

Cons

I really have yet to come across a problem with this system. This is my 3rd salon software system and honestly it did take a little getting used to but I kind of expected some challenges switching from old to new

Using Mangomint has been a game-changer for how we manage our services. From scheduling appointments to processing payments and keeping track of clients, it streamlines so much of the day-to-day work that used to take extra time. It’s intuitive, reliable, and lets our team focus on what we love most—making our clients feel amazing. Truthfully, wish we had switched to using it a LONG time ago!

Pros

Mangomint makes everything feel effortless. It has a user-friendly interface that streamlines scheduling, payments, and client communication. It’s all super quick and makes sense without me having to think about it. Everything runs smoother, and I spend way less time clicking around and more time actually getting things done. They really put the service industry professionals first!

Cons

Right now, we run our store through Shopify and our services through Mangomint, which means juggling two systems. Both are amazing on their own, but the two together can sometimes feel a little clunky.

I love the mangomint booking software!! Beautiful look, easy to learn and use, simple interface between the POS, booking system and product scanner. I have no idea who created this software but I would love to shake their hand because everything makes sense, everything is where you expect it to be and there's no weird buttons in order to try to find other things, nothing is hidden under weird categories, for example, if a client walks in off the street and wants to buy product and they've never been there before you click the button sale and then click at the top where it says make a new sale and it's got a bar scanner so you scan the product and you have the option of entering a client's name and phone number or just cashing out. Very simple! I 100% recommend this for everybody!!

Pros

Very easy software system! I am not a person that is great with technology, at all, I've worked at a few different spas and almost every single spa software had a massive learning curve, some of them I spent 6 months trying to work with and still couldn't figure it out, mangomint took me 15 minutes to learn.

Cons

The name is a little weird but other than that there actually is no cons to this Spa software.

I have been using Mangomint for about two years now and it has been game changer for our office. We are able to see and communicate with patients from all offices and with ease of use creating and scheduling appointments, it has made it seamless. I really like the product and I think this is gamechanger for salons/spas/medspas. You have a product that is cut and dry from the moment you log-in!

Ease of use, communication with help desk, scheduling, patient communication with messaging feature, and the ease to assigning patients to different nurses!

Cons

I wish an email system was included with the system to blast message patients when changes were happening. I think that should come standard with the software. Other than that, there aren't any complaints I have!

Customer service is outstanding! Very easy to contact with quick response. I am easily able to run all areas of my business.

Cons

There isn’t anything I don’t like about Mangomint. No downtime! I wish it wasn’t the price it is, but for what the system is, I will pay.

I worked at a salon software company in the past so I feel like I'm extremely picky when it comes to what I want my software to do. I did demos with a few places before going with Mangomint. I definitely think it's one of the best out there and their support team has been so hopeful for anything I can't figure out on my own.

Pros

Pros: Ease of use, aesthetic user interface, online booking is easy to setup and easy for our clients to use, works well for a rental salon

Cons

Cons: I wish there was more reporting. It has all the reporting you'd need to run the business but there's been a few times I've thought of things that there aren't reports for.

I didn't love online booking with DaySmart, Vagaro advertises other salons in our area, I believe Phorest or Meevo didn't have an app or it wasn't user friendly and Meevo's user interface seemed so outdated. Mangomint checked the boxes of all the things the others were lacking.

So far, incredible. Customer service is top tier and onboarding was smooth and seamless!

Pros

The intelligent booking features and ability to customize so much of it.

Cons

The lack of being able to add smart booking as an add on. We are a smaller spa with 2 practitioners and service rooms so the price of the standard package doesn't really make sense to us, but we used to send out deposit links via text and email when people booked over the phone every day on gloss genius which cost us $45 / M so we were sad to loose that...but you can't win them all!

They went through a series of updates that just completely crashed the system. We paid to have two users, but we were essentially functioning off of one user profile from all of the problems having multiple practitioners created. Every day we would have system issues taking payment after 4 pm CST. They wouldn't tell you when the updates would happen, they would just role them out and suddenly you had 25 new problems on your hands. Coming from a heavy background in CRM and AI development, I understand you have to find the problems in order to fix them, but their support team was less than helpful as they would take a full day to get back to you.

Pros

I love the support system of Mangomint. We just type our questions in and we get an answer! It’s awesome!

Cons

Some of the reporting. It’s missing a dashboard. A quick glance of numbers would help.

Book4time was too expensive. It was nice because it interfered with the rest of the resorts platform. But it was way too much money. Phorest was a close second, but I read a couple reviews that were negative. So we went with Mangomint.

I can’t say enough good things, mangomint has been there for every question and set up question I’ve had. Even going the extra mile to do some things for me on the back end that would just take some things off my plate. Highly recommend

I love the support that has been provided form start to finish, from the person who explained how mangomint worked and how it might best suite my needs, to after I signed up and the people who have walked me through every step of start up.

Cons

So far there is nothing I don’t like about mango mint. I’ll report back if there is anything that stands out.

Best customer experience I have ever had and I've tried onboarding with Salonbiz, Zenoti, Vagaro, and Mindbody. The bigger companies with more options have been nightmares to deal with and we actually stayed with Mangomint while trying to onboard with Salonbiz because Mangomint elevated themselves so much during our awful onboarding, that not having the Aveda Points just no longer carried enough weight to let us leave.

Pros

Ease of use, AMAZING customer service, intuitive app, plugins that make it so customizable without being forced to pay for each upgrade, the client chats that the whole staff can see, very customizable menus, easy online booking for clients, customizable menu links for each category of the menu. I could go on and on about it.

Cons

The payroll onboarding has been a little clunky, but they have left me feeling supported regardless. Other than that, I don't love that only ipads work for the kiosk options but that's a MINOR issue. The only other thing that I don't love is the non option to have a connection with Aveda Plus Rewards, as an Aveda salon. But I have fingers crossed that will eventually be an option!

Mangomint is an incredible platform for my small medspa! The customizable settings make it so easy to manage my services, business info, and payment processing all in one place. Anytime I’m unsure how to do something, I can jump into the live chat for support or head to their online learning center—it’s super easy to find not just the answers, but also step-by-step videos that walk you through setting up or changing any feature. The personalized online forms are a breeze to create and adjust, and don’t even get me started on the marketing tools—there’s so much value packed in! My team, my clients, and I all love how intuitive and user-friendly Mangomint is. I seriously can’t imagine running my business without it.

My overall experience is a 10/10! I am beyond pleased with MangoMint and it seems that they are constantly working on improvements. I seriously applaud the support and responsiveness for everyone involved in making our go live successful!

Pros

Our onboarding specialist was incredible and always there to help no matter the time of day or how simple my question was. The chat support messaging built into MangoMint is very good and I was really blown away by how quickly the support messaged me back. I will also add that the chat support team is always very friendly and knowledgeable and you can tell they actually work for MangoMint and not a third party. The online learning center that MangoMint provides is top notch and had a ton of resources, videos, and photos. There were also many webinars with full walkthroughs with product managers. While there are some "quirks" that MangoMint has, most of its features and layout are very easy to use and everything is common sense on where things should be placed or how you would use it. Coming from Phorest, MangoMint is very elegant and easy to use. The mobile app is also the full software so pretty much everything you do at the front desk can be done on the phone.

Cons

I wish there was a full onboarding training session offered so the entire staff can be together and walk through the product and demo with the onboarding specialist. I think having the option to have a training session for the whole staff would remove nervousness about moving to a new platform and make the staff feel confidence in the move.

Phorest is clunky and ran slow on our devices. Phorest requires a full install for any device that needs to run it. Our spa outgrew the software and Phorest does not update features nearly as often as they need to for a modern client.

Pros

The Customer Service is exceptional & all of the features available in one program makes it a very strong booking program.

Cons

Extra fees for marketing (last program I had it was free), or the extra fees for new add ons. I feel like it is a premium program but I also pay a premium price already.

There are some formatting issues in reports, and there are some reports I would like to have. I would also like a drop down menu that would allow more details about salon guests, such as shop guest, referral, repeat, request, new request

coming from Gloss Genius where even with the White Glove VIP package ...getting a human on the phone was harder then calling bangladesh and waiting on hold for at the least an hour. To a team that made you feel that you were the only business that they were supporting is amazing. As an independent salon suite owner...I needed support staff.....MangoMint Salon Ware has become truly my salon suite cloud based management system for my business. Checking guests in, Checking them out, Marketing and collaborating with Salon Gurus team to increase online visibility and revenue while I do the hair. How can I ask for more for 165 a month

Pros

This team of the most impressive young people that I have ever had the pleasure to meet our obsessed with their client so we can be with ours. Their attention to detail. Their constant form of contact. You can be having a small issue with a POS and they are on that in app chat so fast asking would you prefer a quick zoom,phone call or in app assistance like white on rice

Cons

If nothing is jumping to my attention....that is almost unheard of. The only thing I found challenging was to design anything client facing. Email Marketing, Gift Card Art, Your Client Booking App....They all allow customizing. However it is top tier designer worthy of a platform to manipulate for client facing media. As it should. They are eager to get on a 1 on 1 call to educate however. Luckily I have a media designer I granted access to and they worked on it for me. My success coach was happy to collaborate with my rep from my marketing agency,

Overall, Mangomint's customer service is unparalleled. They are SO responsive, supportive, and receptive to feedback. I have never been passed off from one person or division to another. My team also finds their app very easy to navigate and we appreciate how easy it is to transition to Mangomint from other platforms. They are constantly improving and launching new features. Highly recommend!

Pros

Incredible customer support, the app is very user-friendly, beautiful interface, many useful features, transitioning from other platforms is smooth, they are receptive to feedback and constantly improving

Cons

Because they are newer, some features are still on their roadmap and not launched yet. I look forward to trying their new features

easy to use and personable to what you’re using it for

Pros

how quickly the software runs - it never lags or has any errors

Cons

that they don’t have different color blocks per service - it would make it easier to read your schedule when you offer different services

I enjoy using Mangomint and I can definitely recommend it to businesses. It is affordable, user-friendly, and fast.

Pros

It is the most user-friendly EMR system we have ever used. The features are very easy to use. You can do almost everything in one click. You can attach forms to appointments, create rooms for your employees, send email and text marketing, text with patients, create templates, and so much more. The best feature for me is creating an appointment within seconds. It is also HIPPA compliant. Their Online Booking integration is super easy too. Plus, it doesn't direct to their website, website visitors stay on your website which increases the amount visitors spend on your website.

Cons

There needs to be some features added. For instance, a product can't be attached to an appointment. You have to do that manually. But they keep improving so I am sure they will get that feature in soon.

The price-to-service ratio didn't satisfy us. With Mangomint we get everything we want for a much more affordable price. Boulevard was nice, but Mangomint is better.

PatientNow was the worst program we have ever used. It was so complex. Even doing a simplest thing would take minutes and if you forget to click to one of those small check boxes,it doesn't save, or gives errors. I would never recommend that program.
