### "If it's a booking system you are looking for a salon, Mangomint is the way to go"

Overall it has been amazing to work with the software and the wonderful team behind mangomint. When we do come across any roadblocks mangomint will always find a work around and make it easier for us!

Pros

All the features that are currently present are absolutely useful. It is one of those software's that you can utilize every little feature because it caters to every need of your business. The team putting all this together is another bonus. If there are anything that we need a work around, or updates to our account, mangomint is ON IT! And rest assure your problem, queries will be solved! Also the newest update for 2 way texting is an absolute savior!

Cons

There could be some more work around rebooking clients. Maybe just a rebook button to rebook clients easily. And being able to apply promo codes to be able to better analyze the success of these promotions. But I do believe they are constantly working on these areas and we do see new updates pretty often

Even though I'm paying more for Mangomint, the amount of time + money I'm saving in other areas plus all the amazing features and ease of use for staff and clients is worth every penny!

Pros

I was with another company for 10+ years prior to Mangomint so even though I was shopping around, I never considered leaving until I found a company that checked all the boxes. Mangomint has every feature + more of what I need to run a full service spa with many different types of staff + services. Even though I love EVERYTHING- what has made the most impact is the ability for clients to cancel + reschedule on their own and the ability to book multiple services. The taking credit card online is also incredible + has made no-shows so much easier to deal with. Oh and I love that I can actually reach out to a real person and get help right away!

Cons

I didn't like that I wasn't able to manage resources but now that I can, there isn't anything I don't like about Mangomint.

Wix was a mess and unsynced our calendars multiple times and there wasn't a single person I could get ahold of to help me understand why. They lacked a lot of features we needed but because I was with them for so long, I was worried about the switch and if clients were going to accept us requiring a card on file.

A quick, convenient and enjoyable booking experience for clients is our highest priority as a hair salon. Mangomint does all the heavy lifting with seamless website integration, custom branding, appointment notifications, payment processing, and unbelievable new features that continue to roll out and make our lives even easier.

Pros

The interface is clean and beautiful which oddly doesn't exist in any other salon software. We chose Mangomint initially for it's ability to handle payments for our hair salon that has both booth renters and commission stylists in which Mangomint allows all our stylists to use the same payment processor and routes payments to booth renters' individual bank accounts without ever hitting ours. They continue to impress us with features that make our life and the client's experience so simple and easy.

Cons

Initially I was concerned about the third party payment processor, but back in February of 2021 they upgraded this entirely to Mangomint Pay and it has been a game changer. No more concerns, we couldn't be happier with this update.

Coming from retail, I saw Mangomint as the Shopify of the salon industry. Once I discovered Mangomint there was no debate. They offer everything you need for a hair salon software including and amazing client experience which is critical for our brand.

Exceptional! The best part was working with the on-boarding team! They were incredibly fast, and I felt they were committed to my success.

Pros

I enjoyed working with the Mangomint team. They helped me set up the system and then stayed with me to ensure I was able to manage it. They have the BEST employees - especially \[sensitive content hidden\]!

Cons

I'd like to see a bit more functionality with regard to booking groups and allowing each member of a group to pay for their service versus charging just one group member. I'd like to see a calendar that has a birdseye view of the week, month, and 3 months. Perhaps this is currently available, but I'm too knew to the system to know what it can do. Finally, I would like the POS to be more like Square with photos that can be tapped versus scanning for an item.

Reason for choosing Mangomint

Mindbody was attempting to onboard me, however, they were a nightmare to work with. Their rep lied several times and in the end I had to reach out to their \[sensitive content hidden\] to gain access to my backend! I finally decided they were too much work as I did not want to become a programmer! I just want to run a spa! Likewise Bookeo did not want to connect in anyway other than emails. I spent 6 weeks trying to understand their product because I simply didn't have time to sit at a desk and watch/read all their tutorials. Having a live person to walk you through the system was THE best feature Mangomint offered. It seems many of these booking software companies are developed by programmers who think most people know what to do or have teams of IT people to onboard new products - but spa and salon owner typically don't do this type of work - we just want a working booking system and POS - that's what Mangomint provided!

Mangomint has helped me get a clearer picture of my individual staff members' performance as well as the business overall. The payroll reporting has saved me literal hours of my life. I love all of the reports they have to help me get a better handle on my business. I love that they integrate with so many other business solutions as well, so if they don't directly solve my problem they make it really easy to find another app to connect to.

Pros

I researched dozens of spa scheduling software products and found them all lacking in different ways. The level to which I have control over my system is amazing. Their system integrates with any tool I need to use in my business seamlessly. The reporting is unparalleled and gives me great insight into my business. I'm saving a ton in credit card processing fees through the mangomint pay integration (flat 2%). They have a real point of sale system for retail that is capable of inventory management. Really fine tuned controls for staff services and availability. It's just wonderful. Better than any other software I've tried. The customer service is OUTSTANDING as well, there is a live person behind their chat feature pretty much 24/7. Any question I have ever had was handled promptly and in a friendly manner. I've spoken personally with the \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] a number of times. This is a company who really truly cares about their customers. I feel that they are invested in my growth as a spa owner and go the extra mile to help me reach my goals. It is a start-up company and they are constantly adding new features. The UI for both the spa end and the customer facing online booking are gorgeous and minimalistic - very clear to read and well thought-out.

Cons

I honestly have zero complaints whatsoever.

Nothing short amazing. The Mangomint team is phenomenal.

Pros

Honestly, the customer service is what keeps me. The product is fabulous. But to be able to have access to get assistance any time of day and for it to be within 10 minutes or less is amazing. I had so many questions and needed assistance. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] are the BEST! Hands down, you do not even need to think. Get this product you will not regret your decision.

Cons

There are still some enhancements/features that will make this product more seamless. However, Mangomint listens to their customers and they are always adding upgrades and enhancements to the product based on our feedback.

Pros

Integration is a huge factor for any salon. It was extremely easy and seamless

Cons

I would love for very simple " stock" forms to choose from. Client or model release forms. Chemical service forms. On a click and send basis. I have the ability to create my own, but no time and want them professionally worded.

Love our experience with Mangomint thus far! Customer service is very helpful. Layout design is very user-friendly. Point of sale is versatile.

Pros

My FAVORITE features have to be:t-Textable phone link so guests can fill out their card info - saves so much time! -Forms integration right into their client file. You can make any form you'd like and it's so easily accessible!-Messages feature so you can see all the appointment reminder history!

Cons

Would love if there was an email+text marketing within the software.Would like there to be more detailed reports when it comes to clients. Such as:-Clients who haven't been in in the last x weeks-Client list with who we have what information for - such as emails/phone #/address - to make sure we're able to reach out to the necessary guests

Streamlined and simple. It's a beautiful to look at and is a breeze to work with. I was with mbo for 6 years and while mbo does offer more features, it was a clunky dinosaur that was hard to use and left both client and staff frustrated. Mangomint has made business much smoother and a joy to use.

Pros

Mangomint is simple and easy to use while still offering robust features. The customer service is truly second to none and both staff and clients enjoy this system.

Cons

There are some features I would love such as creating relationships between clients and some more customizations for paying staff a dollar amount instead of a percentage. However, they are continually improving, adding features and listening to their subscribers. So it seems that eventually this will all come together

Easy. Overall, the system is easy for almost anyone, clients and staff, to understand and operate.

Pros

I love how easy it is for the clients to book. The booking page is clear and super easy to understand. Clients can pay deposits and clearly see the cancellation policy. I love the "wait in car" feature as I am located inside a salon studio set up that does not have a waiting area. I also love the customizable texts.

Cons

I really wish two-way texting was an option. I also would like the invoice (pay via phone) option to last longer than 15 minutes. I would like an email invoice option. And an online store connected to the inventory system would be fantastic!!! We have a lot of clients that have to text us to order products to pick up.

What attracted me most to Mangomint was their beautiful interfacing designs. The colors and energy matched all the wonderful support throughout my trial and onboarding experience so far with Mangomint. Everything has been easy and intuitive for my startup business. One of the best decisions I’ve made so far in setting up my appointment scheduling with Mangomint. I highly recommend their software program.

Cons

The only thing that I feel is missing so far is online booking for memberships which Mangomint is in the process of integrating in the next year.

Having forms online, booking multiple appts for a client and being able to check out together, ease of online booking for our clients. The online chat support is great, MangoMint did an amazing job helping us switch from a different platform. It was so easy to move our client list and product list into MangoMint.

Pros

We love the ease of the calendar and seeing all the providers in one spot. Online bookings have increased because clients are able to navigate the booking site quickly and efficiently. The online waitlist is a great feature!! The online integrated forms was also a major need for us.

Cons

Would like to discount an entire ticket.

I have been thrilled from the beginning all the way till now. Sales, answering questions, setup and onboarding and customer support have all been top notch and a pleasure to work with. As a start up I can start small with minimal features and as I grow and need additional functions they are available at reasonable additional costs.

Pros

I love the individuality allowed from one employee to another to customize based on their level of experience and ability to grow as they gain speed. Also turn on and off the services of each individual.

Cons

My only critique is the inability to upload data for employees and payroll information to Quickbooks.

Everything about setting up Mangomint has been wonderful! I love everyone I have worked with and their customer service is definitely the best I have ever had with a booking system!

Pros

It is one of the best booking systems for salons! I love that what you see on the app on your phone or iPad is the same as your web browsing system. It is super easy to use and our clients love the booking options on their end also! The mangomint team made it incredibly easy to get everything set up. I also love their automated forms!! That is one of the best features!

Cons

I do think it is on the higher end and I don't love that as they add features they are separate costs. I would rather just pay one price to have everything included. I also wish they had an option for clients to log in and view their appts with ease or share their reminders to google calendar also.

Mangomint has the best customer service of any service we utilize. They always respond within hours, but often within minutes. The tech support people are always well-informed and capable of handling the issue then and there, rather than forwarding everything on as support tickets (like other companies do).

Pros

I love the ease of use from the client end and the intuitive interface from our side.

Cons

I am eager for resources to be manageable, so that we can see, book, and block treatment rooms by daily schedule. I would also love a waitlist feature.

We’ve had a great experience everyone has been so helpful. There are so many videos to help you along the way, but if videos aren’t your thing, you can literally just text them and someone will help you almost immediately. It’s simple and easy to use it has contracts we can make sure our clients sign, we can also ask for photos so we can see what the clients hair currently looks like and what their hair goals are it makes it a breeze

Pros

The fact that I can ask for help from a human being basically any time of day, and someone gets back to you very quickly

Cons

Currently, there is no option to have a contract an invoice together so I can streamline my bridal clients for their wedding day

Online bookings and no call/no show cancellations are eliminated with having the ability to have credit cards on file which has been a huge financial benefit to us compared to our old software. Absolutely love that if you need help you can get ahold of someone almost immediately. Big thanks to everyone at Mangomint!

Pros

Love how easy Mangomint is to use. We had another booking system, Milano, that just made every step twice as hard as it needed to be but this system has made our lives incredibly easier.. The online booking system is flawless and the on-boarding/integration to Mangomint was simple.

Cons

The only con was that you didn't have couples massage booking available but we were able to do a work around on that and Mangomint is in the works of solving this for the software as we speak along with numerous new features that we are excited about.

Pros

When looking for a new system to use, Mangomint hit all the marks and checked all the boxes EXCEPT for one: HIPAA compliance. Once they added that, I was sold. The features are easy to use, easy to learn, functional in a way that makes sense. The system has all the things we needed and more. Integration and switching to a new system can often be a headache but it was surprisingly not stressful with Mangomint. When I had a question, there was always someone available to help me sort it all out. Can't recommend enough!

Cons

The only thing I'd really love to see is email integration with Flodesk for easier email marketing and patient email communication.

Jane's aesthetic was dated, not as user friendly for med spas. We weren't able to utilize memberships in the way that we wanted to. It's just not the best option for medical spas and we learned that using it for a year until we made the switch to Mangomint.

The staff at Mangomint are exceptionally professional. Every time I have dealt with there staff, they were knowledgeable and eager to help resolve any issues I was having.

Pros

Mangomint is an excellent all in one product. Though a bit more expensive than some of the options out there. The money you save with client reminders and ease of use make it very much worth while. The client support is off the charts and always exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Cons

There are a couple reports I wish they had. But that is about it.

Switching was the fastest and least stressful experience. The checklists and texting customer service was so convenient and helpful. We switched from vagaro and paid a lot of money to vagaro just to be rid of the hassle. It was worth it! MANGOMINT is a life saver

Pros

We love the cancellation policy is visible and agreed to upon booking and with reminders. POS is. 10/10 for ease of use

Cons

The feature to improve would be able to check out booth renters and retail in the same transaction but send the money to separate accounts.

Their beliefs and stand on social media were so admirable and I could completely relate.

Because their system was slow and sometimes non functional. Customer service was terrible. Set up was extremely complicated and was too detailed.
