So many ways to get to the end point. At times, errors can develop since there are so many customized options.

Since we began in October, 2005, CSA has been responsive in our needs.

Pros

Multiple products interface together to serve all facets of our utility

Cons

As with any software product you use there is always room for improvement

Our billing company, Central Service Association, has been able to make this a great product for us.

Pros

Users are able to customize it for what they use most.

Cons

Sometimes when updates are applied some issues fall 'through the cracks' and the data doesn't show up on our reporting as expected.

Better plant records along with processing better records and reports. Provides a robust list of reports to help make a more informed decision.

Pros

The One stop shop advantage All the products you need that coordinate together as one.

Cons

Even though it is a windows based concept, it takes a lot of time learning how to navigate through the system.

The transition to the software package was fairly difficult, but once we adjusted to the program, our employees have enjoyed using the suite. It is definitely seen as a major upgrade over what we had in the past.

Pros

Our industry requires creativity and adaptability to meet the needs of our members, employees, and technology. Orbit offers us a product that can be continuously customized to fit our ever evolving organizational requirements.

Cons

A great product often comes with a high price. We are a small utility so the cost does seem relatively high.

We've reduced a significant amount of data entry in the form of journal entries by using Orbit Suite. This reduces errors that are often associated with manual data entry.

Pros

I love the flexibility of the product and the ability to export anything into excel for analysis. CSA stands behind their software and is always available to help with questions. You'll will not find better support in the utility software market.

Cons

It takes sometime to learn about all the customization features because there are just so many options.
