Fast, Capable, and SUCH a god-send time saving tool...

Pros

Anyone running a Customer Experience, Customer Service, Customer Support desk/team, etc needs to be using TypeDesk. While it has not been around a long time, it sure is already quite powerful and more features are added regularly. Keyboard shortcuts for all the important use of the product makes it lightning fast and efficient!!! Fast and friendly support and a real willingness to listen and build a truly useful product!

Cons

So far, very few bugs, and very few negative things to say. The one feature that is not quite there yet is being worked on and will be updated in the next two weeks so even less to consider as Cons very soon...

Typedesk is just the answer for your customer support team. With growing business, number of customer incidents increase and with limited budget, one can employ not too many support associates. Using typedesk and canned responses, not only keep your customers happy but grow your business as well.

Pros

It organize your canned responses very neatly and effectively with the power of customization. Application is very smooth and occupies very less space as compare to other apps. Current age is all about the response time and if your customer observes an unexpected delay, they will move to some other vendors. With typedesk, your business grows as your customer remains happy with the prompt support you can offer and provide.

Cons

Nothing much to add here. As a user, I just love typedesk

Great customer support whenever a few initial onboarding and basic usage questions arose...definitely recommended!

Pros

I really like the ease of use TypeDesk, and its easy accessibility when sending repetitive and routine responses...it's a great tool!

Cons

The only cumbersome aspect is having to re-login each time on boot-up, but it's a small price to pay for the convenience the tool provides.

Reason for choosing typedesk

While I'm exposed to tons of new tools every day, I really haven't seen any products that do what TypeDesk does as conveniently as TypeDesk does it.

Just plain awesome

Pros

Before Typedesk I had a wiki that I used for my templates. Mostly I used the templates for my mails, social media and random info. Every time I had to copy and paste and then read the whole text and adjust it as needed. And now? I answer a few questions and the whole text is ready to go! Typedesk is saving hours a week :-)

Cons

There is absolutely nothing I don't like about Typedesk! Of course a few things I would love to be added in the future, but it's already on the roadmap :-)

I didn't think it was very useful for my small business but I tried it and within a day I purchased a code! It is so awesome and helpfull. Saves me loads of time and I no longer make the mistake of putting someone elses name in an email when copying the text. I use it to put in my brand color codes everywhere when needed, fast reply's and so much more. Really love it.

Pros

I use it everywhere. I like that is just so easy to set up and to work with. And when I miss some responses I just add them really quick. Love it! Makes everything so much faster.

Cons

I would like it to be used on my phone. That way I have the flexibility to work from anywhere and have a consistant response. Also, I use Calibri light in my mail and I am not able to when using Typedesk, so I would like to use Calibri Light :)

### "The missing link for canned responses"

I LOVE this. My team has a lot of responses we use repeatedly, and we can store them all where we can each access them easily. We can even create our own specific responses to use when we want to add a little personality to things. It's easy to create, edit, organize or remove any response. There's basic formatting available, including bold/italic/underline and bullet/number lists. It only took 2 days of the trial period for me to decide we would purchase the subscription. Highly recommend!

Pros

The best part is that it's not browser-based, which means it works anywhere you can type. Also, the shortcuts are invaluable and were a feature we were missing in a different solution we tried.

Cons

It's clear that this is still being developed, but it feels very polished given that this is the case. The core functions always work, there are just little bugs here and there. I've received regular emails about fixes and updates since I started using it less than a month ago, so they are working on it actively.

It simplifies my work immensely. Since I write a lot of emails, I can put them together with the small building blocks. Or even prepare and insert completely finished e-mail.

Pros

In the beginning I had to learn to find the right abbreviations for me and also to learn them. But that happens very quickly and can be changed very easily.

Cons

Sometimes it does not respond. And I do not understand why. Then I restart TypDesk.And in the app icon occasionally a black dot appears that I can't interpret?

Reason for choosing typedesk

My boss heard about it on a podcast and showed it to me. After I successfully introduced it, we both use it now.

Pros

Typedesk is an amazing time-saver! I'm always creating canned responses for emails and chats, but it was a pain to have to retype the same responses over and over again. Typedesk is so easy to use with one click there's nothing to remember. I don't know what I would do without it! The support by its \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] is also generous.

Cons

A problem I had was solved by the \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] very quickly and since then everything is working fine.

Pros

I really like how easy it was to put it to use. It's working great and helps a lot in my day to day work.

Cons

The biggest missing piece is the lack of a mobile version. Cherry would be if it's synced for the responses.Additionally I'd love to see some more abilities to create conditions and have spintax work to make responses more variable.

It works very well and all the people who use it are very satisfied and happy. we found some minor bugs, already reported, and the Typedesk team seems very reactive working on them for resolving.

Pros

I liked first of all the quantity of functionalities because it covers practically every use case, the overall very good quality, the 6-stars support quality (yes, six stars, I rarely found such a big availability and courtesy in 10 years, only from the high ticket tools with subscription fees of hundreds of $ each month)

Cons

The tool is still a startup project and I found some bugs and it could be improved with some minor functionalities that competitors already offer.

It offers more functionalities and the pricing is more worthwhile

It made me fast and efficient at my job where I am taking three chats at the same time. I love it, I think I would quit without this level of canned response. The free apps just weren't as smooth.

Pros

\[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] I posted a review here? Thought that was it. Anyways I like the easy hotkey and quick search and how fast it is. I like the templates, and look forward to seeing new ones. I wish there were more content packs and templates to choose from. I like that it saves on the cloud. Looks nice.

Cons

Not enough template functions. And the customer.name function I am not sure how that would work, given specific websites have different code. I tried using that template to no luck. Also the only available content packs were not very good at all, and limited, I thought maybe there'd be a whole store of them, or people uploading their own. But I was fine making my own.

Productivity goes up with quick access to my most recently typed bits, and their support has been stellar.

Pros

The interface is lovely, and intuitive, which is appreciated. It's easy to hit the ground running and things just work. It's lightweight (not a system resources hog) and doesn't conflict with my other apps.

Cons

Nothing that I don't like. There are some small bits and bobs that can be improved, but I see movement from them every day so I fully expect to see further improvement.

The more I use it, the better it gets.

Pros

It does what it says on the tin! It saves time and standardizes the look and feel of external responses to third parties.

Cons

It takes a while to get used to. It would be great if the app recognized standard replies and sentences typed by the user, and then automatically saved those.

Pros

I like the Shortcodes, that I can create my Templates and use them for example on my Mail Accounts, and for Web Design if I want to inject some HTML or Code instead of using Emmet or searching for the Code again

Cons

Nothing Actually, I like that they are till improving, so no Cons to say about it.

I am very pleased with typedesk.

Pros

I am using canned messages as part of my job and I rely heavily on them. Typedesk saved my life because I can have all my canned messages organized in one place and I can easily click and copy them onto my chats with customers.

Cons

I wish I could change the size of the typedesk box as it takes up a lot of my screen when it's open. I wish I could place my cursor in the chat box where I type to the customers, right click and have a type desk windiw open there.
