### "Great product - Recommend for multiple uses!"

August 21, 2020

5.0

The customer service team is top-notch. I know they are invested in making sure we have a successful event. We have a few events under our belt through Remo, and more and more people are asking about the platform!

Pros

Remo is the closest thing to an in-person event that we have experienced, while being remote. It effectively allows our team to cultivate and steward event attendees in a fun and meaningful way. We like that users are able to move themselves from table to table, as you would at a typical convention or cocktail reception. The functionality of the white board, presentation and announcements makes it easy to host an event.

Cons

The Remo team has been working on additional room layouts and I am excited to use those. For a new software, there is very little that I would change and I know the team is always taking our ideas into consideration.

### "Way too pricey compared to what else is on the market"

April 13, 2022

5.0

The Remo team I worked with was pleasant, but unfortunately their requirements of providing information and attendees so far in advance, along with the steep pricing made this platform a no go for me.

Pros

I liked that the virtual venue is customizable to your specific event needs and branding.

Cons

I did not like the price. I also did not like the fact we needed to provide participant names to the Remo team over a week in advance of the event. Should technology not allow more flexibility?

### "Remo is a game changer in virtual events"

August 21, 2020

5.0

Pros

You truly feel like you're at a live event (as much as possible) -- the ability to video chat at private tables is amazing, and something I have not seen at recent virtual events. It's so easy to use and navigate, you can hop to other tables, different floors, and collaborate in a productive way. The recording ability, and the analytics on the back end are fantastic as well.

Cons

I wish there were more flexibility in how you can customize. It would be great to have a "waiting room" if the building gets too full, and the ability to grant admin rights to separate events. Other than small administrative tweaks, I absolutely love Remo.

### "Remo is a great Sococo alternative"

July 5, 2019

5.0

We have a fully remote team of 15 people, and a "virtual office" app like Remo is vital to clearly communicate online presence and status, provide team members with the ability to quickly video-call each other throughout the workday with minimum hassle, and foster a sense of belonging to a bigger team.

Pros

An improved version of Sococo: good performance, great screen share and whiteboard, good user interface. Less stupid name as well.

Cons

No mobile app, no standalone app for PC, you must use Google Chrome to use it. Minor complaints: no Slack integraton, also there is only one office layout and it doesn't look very good. Some spaces on Sococo are more visually appealing and detailed.

### "Feels like you are there!"

September 12, 2020

we are solving the problem of a physical event for our customers. Great experience with customer service and pre-sales. Your guided Tours are excellent!

Pros

enter in to a room with tables and chairs is a great feeling

Cons

More floorplans or an easy "DIY" step-by-step guide... i.e. 1) click here to chose your color, 2) click here to chose #of sponsors, 3)... and so on.

### "Fantastic Solution for Modern Problems"

September 9, 2020

5.0

Pros

The ease of use is so important when setting up new media. Having people feel comfortable in a brand new space during difficult times is the only way to move forward. And the online environment is great to look at and fun to use!

Cons

I had to get a new computer and faster internet access in order to facilitate. That gets to be difficult for the casual user or a first time user who isn’t as tech dependent or savvy.

### "University Alumni Panel"

September 10, 2020

Remo Conference is a great solution if you are putting on a networking event. I haven't used it for business meetings, but believe it would work well in that regard.

Pros

Remo handles the concept of breakout rooms much more intuitively than Zoom - users join different tables, and can see other audience members at each table. This allows much more visibility to the group.

Cons

Remo did a poor job of detecting my external USB webcam. I had to change input settings at least 5 times for the changes to take effect.

### "Marvellous networking functionality"

September 13, 2020

4.0

Pros

Remo replicates the face to face environment admirably, allowing delegates to move around the floor at will and interact as they wish to with others.

Cons

Remo seems to be a little complex for attendees and can cause some difficulties. There is an onus on the event organiser to train up their delegates. The other challenge is that speakers need to be savvy enough to set themselves onto broadcast, as there is no built-in functionality for av 'production'. That said, there are plenty of work-arounds, including a live stream feed from one of three platforms.

Reason for choosing Remo

Remo had the delegate-centred functionality that was appropriate for our audience.

### "A fun alternative to Zoom"

September 8, 2020

3.0

Remo is a fun alternative to zoom. The tables are good for networking before or after a presentation or to use as breakout rooms. Overall the software is a little glitchy sometimes but getting better with each update. It is unfortunate that they recently raised their prices so drastically. Not worth it for most people at the current pricing.

Pros

This product helped us bring the feel of a live conference online. It is fun to see the virtual conference room floor and be able to move around to different groups to network like you might at a live event.

Cons

The software is not compatible with every system. You need to check with your speakers ahead of time and do a practice run to see if they will be compatible and able to share their slideshow presentation. At the moment the only way to share a presentation is with screensharing. Audio from powerpoint does not come through to the audience.

Reason for choosing Remo

We like the visual interface and feel of being in a conference room.

### "Living in the new world of events"

August 31, 2020

5.0

In this new world of online events - this is a good alternative to zoom (especially when many corporates are blocking access). It's interactive and once you get your head around the layout, it works well.

Pros

I like the layout of the room where you can see which rooms are full and who's in there and the different room/table names. In the small rooms/tables you can see and chat with everyone. Love the access to the whiteboard and sticky notes in the room

Cons

Unable to see other guest profiles when in the small rooms. I want to click on the name and see who they are. Wish there was place to create 1;1 meeting rooms for people you've met or want to meet. Not yet ready/prime time for IoS (ipad or phone)

Pros

### "Remo.co an amazingly handy tool for event organizers and team collaboration"

August 26, 2020

5.0

Very useful and scalable, this it adds the highest amount of interactivity with your guests possible on 2D browserbased solutions out there.

Pros

No installations ready to go including good whiteboard functionality and freedom to walk around yourself.

Cons

The often times 1-2 persons can't turn on their camera and microphone and the GDPR rules in Europe that prevent schools and institutes from working on it.

Reason for choosing Remo

Better affordable and the schools running the incubators were not allowed to use more than one co-working tool like Microsoft Teams.

### "A Refreshing Option in Video Conferencing"

August 25, 2020

I am delightfully excited by REMO. It is a refreshing option and an enjoyable business experience! THANK YOU!

Pros

Cons

### "I'm now able to leave the room without anxiety"

September 8, 2020

4.0

Given the layout and the profiling of guests whilst in a session certainly helps engagement. It's still tricky to judge an individual or better still ask the floor about certain people and thus the introductions are not a mimic of the physical world. What I do enjoy is the freedom of movement and the ability to take a few minutes to reset, grab a drink and act more like I would if I were at a physical event space.

Pros

It's quite a playful space, like a business networking version of a sandpit for childen. Being able to migrate between rooms and attend different focus groups has enabled me to reset my attention and drop out of spaces/tables that were not a great use of my time.

Cons

It assumes a lot of the hosts and I worry the software is being hailed and yet the propagators and facilitators are not always the best advocates of the platform and I cannot see where conduct and meetings protocols are being made clear.

### "Just the beginning..."

August 21, 2020

4.0

Pros

I love the customization options. Being able to use a custom 2D map really allows our participants to transport themselves.

Cons

I appreciate the push to encode the videos at a higher quality, but I find that our team is always having little bug issues that are fixed by refreshing, closing browser, or restarting the computer. It makes the flow of presentation choppy and I would rather sacrifice a little video quality in exchange for guaranteed stability.

### "A technology not full realized"

September 17, 2020

2.0

As a zoom, cisco and lifesize SME for over 20 years, I have worked with just about every technology set that is in the space. Remo has a lot of potential as an. add on to other services. At this time it doesnt feel like a true competitor with Zoom, et al. If there was support for contant video play back on the screen to the left of stage. Something the host can fully control and not just embed youtube that would go a long way. to changing the game in the space. Additionally being able to embed links in any text field would be useful, as well as make PA annoucments via audio to everyone. WHen this is accomplished I feel like it will be a truly game changing product. Until then, it is just half baked.

Pros

The ability to have multiple conversations going on at the same time. Having multiple tables in the main floor plan is really interesting.

Cons

The fact that. I cant embed deep links to outside content, have videos running on stage automatically and that. I cant make audio annoncemnts.

### "A Remo Fan"

August 22, 2020

5.0

I enjoy learning new things and being exposed to new software. In this virtual world we are navigating, it is important that people still feel connected. The visual appeal of Remo offers that.

Pros

it is visually appealing, making the audience feel they were actually attending a conference. I also like the breakouts and the attendees ability to move from table to table.

Cons

That you cannot see your audience while you are presenting. It would be nice to feed off of the audience when you are presenting.

### "Great experience!"

August 21, 2020

5.0

People left the Remo Conference with an effective networking experience and lots of action plans in their hands. Also, with the satisfaction of having participated in the discussion of as many topics as time permitted. Thanks!

Pros

What I liked the most was its realistic feeling. Our experience was just like being part of an old-fashioned coffee-break environment. Participants selected which group to join and there was instant familiarity with those who were also in the group because they were able to browse others’ linkedin profile.

Cons

The only difficulty we experienced was accessing the platform. Once we were in it was a lot of fun!

Pros

I loved the layout of the room. It was so awesome. Seriously. It wasnt a typical room like you would have from one of the competitors out there. This was modern, up to date, futuristic even in a sense and just totally awesome overall.

Cons

In full transparency, I dont have anything to say here. My team and I hosted a virtual networking event using Remo and it was a flawless process. The con? Sure, I have one now... The event had to end! That was it. Lol.

### "Newbie to Remo Conference and it was super cool"

September 11, 2020

I really enjoyed it.

Pros

I loved the feeling that you were joining a table to talk with other people. then you could view each other as individuals, instead of the screen with joined windows. It felt more natural.

Cons

I didn't like that I was receiving chats from other groups when i was talking with the table I had already chosen. I wish I could only get notifications from my current table.
