Pros Remo gives you the feeling of being at an event and the flexibility to move around to different discussions and tables. The freedom of movement is one of the features we enjoy the most at our events. Remo is great for receptions and breakout discussion groups. Cons There are sometimes registrations issues for private events, but using an alternate email address usually fixes the issue. Reason for choosing Remo The flexibility to move around an event! This certainly fills the need not just during the COVID pandemic but when we are all remotely located. Pros I absolutely LOVE the ability to break a larger meeting into sub-meetings, discussions or tabletop conversations. In particular the ease of moving between groups is a valuable feature. Cons I found that getting background on individuals was not intuitive. I could see names but wanted to know where they were from of what they did without jumping over to their table. It was great for our networking event because attendees could move around by themselves and networking with the people they were looking for. Way easier to use than Zoom Breakouts. Pros I liked the ease of this. I'm used to zoom meetings but always felt it was lacking. Upon using Remo, it's been my favourite one to recommend. The REPS team (\[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]) team introduced me to this platform and I'm so happy they did. Cons I wish the tables were bigger and held more than 6 ppl. There was one time we just unexpectedly got kicked out of our workshop. It would be awesome if each floor could be configured differently. September 10, 2020 5.0 Pros I was thrilled when the platform opened up and I saw the kind of meeting room that we all miss so much. I was assigned to a table automatically, and was playfully invited to engage my mic and camera. It was casual yet professional. Cons It was my first experience as a guest user for an MPI session and was unable to find out how to reduce the size of a PIP window that I'd opened. It is the next best thing to in-person meetings or networking events. Cons There are issues with connection at times. It seems like some browsers aren't compatible with the software. We recently had a speed networking event and some of our users had serious issues with screen share, video, sound, etc. Most were fine but it caused our members to dislike the service. Recording files not compressed and I don’t think there is a capability to record to the cloud? 2. Wish there were smaller pre-set floor plans (or that you could click to remove) for my small events instead of having lots of empty tables on the floor 3.
