HR Hospital & Health Care Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Encamp Review" June 6, 2025 4.0 Pros One thing I really appreciate about Encamp is how much it simplifies environmental compliance reporting. It used to be stressful keeping track of all the different state requirements and deadlines, especially with multiple facilities involved. But with Encamp, a lot of that process is automated and organized in one place. It’s saved me a ton of time and given me more confidence that everything’s being done correctly; which means fewer surprises and less risk of missing something important. Cons One downside I’ve noticed with Encamp is that there can be a bit of a learning curve at the beginning. The platform has a lot of features, which is great in the long run, but it took some time to get familiar with everything and figure out how to best fit it into our existing workflow. A bit more hands-on onboarding or intuitive navigation could make the start-up process smoother, especially for teams new to environmental compliance software. Review Source CP Curt P. Environmental Compliance Manager Utilities Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Great Platform for Managing Your Site" May 27, 2021 5.0 Our overall experience with the team at Encamp has been awesome. The whole group seems very knowledgeable and they have been very willing to listen to our requests and suggestions. They have been very responsive any time we have come across any issues. In our meetings before and after deployment, they have been interested in learning how our business works and making sure that their product meets our needs. Pros My team is responsible for multiple sites and I really like that we can keep track of all of those sites from a single dashboard, but still assign individual tasks out to the local users as needed. The calendar allows for multiple layers of notification, which is especially useful for quarterly and semi-annual tasks. Cons The tasks that you create for your site are assigned to an individual, and then you can add multiple 'watchers'. It would be great if there was a way to escalate the task, say for example if a task is not completed by some number of days prior to the due date. Pros Tier II works very well, for my first year using it things went very well. Cons The overall facilities platform is lacking. Many features could be streamlined and regulatory specificity by facility could be improved. They are making improvements regularly so i am hopeful. My team no longer completely dreads Tier II season because Encamp has made the process so much easier and it goes by so much more quickly. Pros The product makes Tier II reporting so much easier/faster and the Encamp team made implementation super painless. Cons There are a couple functions that could work a little more smoothly. For example, updating contacts while in a report isn't the most user friendly. You have to go out of the report, back to the contacts tab, and then back into your facility report from there. Another suggestion would be to alphabetize our facilities from the home screen so they're easier to find. They were in order in the "facilities" screen, but not in our home screen where we could actually start changing/editing/updating reports for the reporting season. Manager Utilities Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "An Honest Review" June 1, 2021 5.0 Encamp has been a fantastic tool for Tier II Reporting, and we hope to further utilize other reporting features and the Compliance Calendar. It has a lot of potential for replacing our current EHS report tracking structure which is Excel based. Pros Encamp has allowed us to modernize Compliance Reporting. Our Compliance team was able to quickly review and prepare reports from our various locations across the Country, at our convenience. There are summary screens which quickly organizes the list of reports and the reporting status. Final reports are saved to a filing cabinet on a cloud based system and are available any time we should need them. Cons Integration /implementation was seamless, quick and easy. It would be nice to have a quick how to video posted within Encamp as an introduction for new employees. A quick navigation, and "how to" on updating Facility Information, Contacts and Products and how to best utilize Encamp on a regular basis. EHS specialist Chemicals Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Encamp Review 2021" April 13, 2021 5.0 The software was fairly simple to use for me and I'm not a computer person. The support has been phenomenal. Pros This was my first year to use encamp as well as my first year to do a tier II report. This software seemed to make the process go very smoothly. This according to my predecessor that had previously used an alternate program. Cons Not sure I would have anything to compare software to, for being a first time user and reporter, it did not appear to be too bad. Our contact (\[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]) has been extremely helpful in getting me information after the report. Such as a spreadsheet for TCEQ inspection. Regional EHS Chemicals Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Second year user" May 25, 2021 5.0 Overall positive. Good for multi site organizations to have consistency in reporting. Pros Easy to complete information in the system. Don't really need any training to use he system Cons When editing going from a specific chemical to the chemical list , the list would reset to the beginning. This would require you to use the search or page through the list for the next chemical. Added time and annoying when you have 10 pages of chemicals to report. EHS Development Program Chemicals Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Encamp Review" July 27, 2020 5.0 Encamp has the wonderful ability to centralize all of our company's Tier 2 data. Along with that, the customer service we received from Encamp was top tier and exceptional. Pros While we did experience minor technical glitches- the overall interface of the software is great. Simple and walks through the steps and adds fields based on each state's needs. Cons The least convenient part of this software is the amount of time that was spent doing things by hand. New materials had to be entered by hand, and other materials adjusted by hand. Also, if we were the first customer to do a state (ex Oregon) it seemed as if we were constantly making changes to the input to fit the model. Software is great, but the customer service is outstanding. Pros Easy to use. Great customer support when needed. Cost effective. Customization is great. Cons Other facilities tasks are mixed in with mine. This makes it very difficult to identify may tasks efficiently. There are tasks that don't belong in the system. Encamp ensures that all the State regulatory requirements are met and any fees are paid on time. It saved me a lot of time. Since this is a one time a year reporting, it is lumped in with the rest of my responsibilities, so Encamp has enabled me to be efficient in my job during Tier reporting time. Pros The program for Tier Reporting is so easy to use and efficient. It saved me at least 40 hours when using Encamp. The support team was wonderful on getting me setup to use and helping me through the training. I would recommend the Tier Reporting program. It made reporting so easy!! Pros Prior to using Encamp, I would spend no less than 90 days putting together my Tier 2 Report. My first go round, brought me down to 60 days and now I can report substantial changes much quicker if needed. Cons Can't think of any. This product and this team is great! " June 1, 2021 5.0 Overall, I would recommend encamp to peers and other organizations. It was easy to use and customer service was great! Pros I liked that Encamp took care of submitting the Tier II Reports to each appropriate agency. It was one less thing for me to have to worry about. I thought it was great for the purpose which I used it for, which was using it to submit a report in a reporting system (state) I am not super familiar with. Cons No "real" cons except, I like having the ability to know a report is submitted the moment it is submitted to a state agency. Initially the purchase was for Tier II reporting. This process was easy to navigate and prepare the necessary information for Encamp. Customer support from Encamp was good and helped resolve issues that we encountered Cons currently I have not experienced any issues that have caused me to dislike the software.
