It used to be stressful keeping track of all the different state requirements and deadlines, especially with multiple facilities involved. But with Encamp, a lot of that process is automated and organized in one place. It’s saved me a ton of time and given me more confidence that everything’s being done correctly; which means fewer surprises and less risk of missing something important. Cons One downside I’ve noticed with Encamp is that there can be a bit of a learning curve at the beginning. The platform has a lot of features, which is great in the long run, but it took some time to get familiar with everything and figure out how to best fit it into our existing workflow. A bit more hands-on onboarding or intuitive navigation could make the start-up process smoother, especially for teams new to environmental compliance software. It was easy to use and customer service was great! Pros I liked that Encamp took care of submitting the Tier II Reports to each appropriate agency. It was one less thing for me to have to worry about. I thought it was great for the purpose which I used it for, which was using it to submit a report in a reporting system (state) I am not super familiar with. Cons No "real" cons except, I like having the ability to know a report is submitted the moment it is submitted to a state agency. It has a lot of potential for replacing our current EHS report tracking structure which is Excel based. Pros Encamp has allowed us to modernize Compliance Reporting. Our Compliance team was able to quickly review and prepare reports from our various locations across the Country, at our convenience. There are summary screens which quickly organizes the list of reports and the reporting status. Final reports are saved to a filing cabinet on a cloud based system and are available any time we should need them. Cons Integration /implementation was seamless, quick and easy. It would be nice to have a quick how to video posted within Encamp as an introduction for new employees. A quick navigation, and "how to" on updating Facility Information, Contacts and Products and how to best utilize Encamp on a regular basis. Pros Prior to using Encamp, I would spend no less than 90 days putting together my Tier 2 Report. The whole group seems very knowledgeable and they have been very willing to listen to our requests and suggestions. They have been very responsive any time we have come across any issues. In our meetings before and after deployment, they have been interested in learning how our business works and making sure that their product meets our needs. Pros My team is responsible for multiple sites and I really like that we can keep track of all of those sites from a single dashboard, but still assign individual tasks out to the local users as needed. The calendar allows for multiple layers of notification, which is especially useful for quarterly and semi-annual tasks. Cons The tasks that you create for your site are assigned to an individual, and then you can add multiple 'watchers'. It would be great if there was a way to escalate the task, say for example if a task is not completed by some number of days prior to the due date. My team no longer completely dreads Tier II season because Encamp has made the process so much easier and it goes by so much more quickly. Pros The product makes Tier II reporting so much easier/faster and the Encamp team made implementation super painless. Cons There are a couple functions that could work a little more smoothly. For example, updating contacts while in a report isn't the most user friendly. You have to go out of the report, back to the contacts tab, and then back into your facility report from there. Another suggestion would be to alphabetize our facilities from the home screen so they're easier to find. They were in order in the "facilities" screen, but not in our home screen where we could actually start changing/editing/updating reports for the reporting season. Pros Tier II works very well, for my first year using it things went very well. Cons The overall facilities platform is lacking. Many features could be streamlined and regulatory specificity by facility could be improved. They are making improvements regularly so i am hopeful. Good for multi site organizations to have consistency in reporting. Pros Easy to complete information in the system. Don't really need any training to use he system Cons When editing going from a specific chemical to the chemical list , the list would reset to the beginning. This would require you to use the search or page through the list for the next chemical. Added time and annoying when you have 10 pages of chemicals to report. Also the second year there were "errors" for items that were good the previous year.
