After trying to it out and getting everything setup I am super impressed with it. Not only is it cheaper than a2x but I have found it to be much easier to use. Mike and staff were super easy to work with and there if I needed anything. I will porobably switch over to the annual plan. Pros Affordable, easy to use, great support staff. Recommended to all sellers looking for an easy integration tool. Cons Like all software has a learning curve but once you get going it really is very easy. The onboarding was simple, and it immediately started saving me time and reducing errors in my accounting. It integrates cleanly with QuickBooks, handles multi-currency and marketplace data well, and the support team is always quick to help if needed. I’ve tested other tools and always come back to Taxomate — it just works. Pros The best part about Taxomate is its flexibility and value. It’s the only tool I’ve found that lets you set different COGS for the same unified Amazon marketplace (like US and Canada) — something A2X and Link My Books can’t do. The interface is clean, the sync is accurate, and the customer support is incredibly responsive. Also, it works across multiple marketplaces including Shopify, Etsy, and Walmart — all for a very reasonable price. Cons None, honestly. I haven’t run into anything I’d consider a real downside. Everything I needed worked as expected, and when I had questions, the support team was quick to respond and resolve them. Switched from [Link My Books](https://www.capterra.com/p/184768/Link-My-Books/) I switched from Link My Books to Taxomate mainly because of how Taxomate handles COGS across different marketplaces. With Link My Books, it was very difficult to track separate COGS for countries like Canada and the USA when selling through the unified North American Amazon marketplace. They require you to use QBO classes to split them, and you’re not allowed to create new chart of accounts for each region — which complicates things if you want clean, accurate reporting. Taxomate solves that easily. It lets me assign different COGS accounts for the same unified marketplace without relying on classes or complicated workarounds. That flexibility alone made the switch worth it — and the experience has been smooth ever since. I am bringing a year of data into Xero from Amazon and this has made it a breeze. Once I got past the initial learning curve and setup, it was a breeze. If you are coming over from A2X or another competing software, you should have no difficulties. It is a great value, very functional, and has great support should you need it. Pros It's a fraction of the cost of A2X and does everything A2X does - and maybe more. Love the different options for the data to be pushed: Summary, Transaction Type, SKU, Order. This is really helpful. I love that I can preview what will be pushed before it is pushed. And I really love the ability to undo the transfer and delete the documents in Xero/QBO. The support is stellar - I've never waited more than 24 hours for a response and often get responses in near real-time. I once reported a minor bug and it was fixed in less than 24 hours. The COGS/Inventory functionality is insanely awesome and a complete gamechanger. Cons The mapping could be a little more clear - once I got past my initial confusion it was easy. But I was initially confused. Taxomate was about 1/3 the cost and does the same thing just as well or maybe better than A2X - never had a chance to look at the COGS / Inventory piece of A2X, but I can't imagine it is better than Taxomate. We sell on a number of Amazon marketplaces in the USA, Europe and the United Kingdom and Taxomate really helps to simplify our accounting and tax processes. The software gives us credibility with our accountants and saves us time to focus on other matters. It's easy to set up and works seamlessly in the background. Pros It's very easy to use and once set up, it's pretty much just continues to work with little to no upkeep, expect for the occasional break in connection (very infrequent in my experience though). Cons In the COGS download section, I wish there was a feature to easily distinguish the "adjustments" to units sold for additions vs subtractions so no extra math would be needed to just tell total units in and units out. Taxomate is hands down the best affordable solution. Pros I've been selling on Amazon for 15 years and the worst part of selling on Amazon has been the accounting side of it. I looked and tried several companies that offer this type of service that Taxomate offers to help me manage my Amazon sales, returns, refunds, etc., but the other company's cost was too high Taxomate is very affordable and a great solution. They really do an unbelievable job on service in relation to what you pay, it's outstanding! They will sit down with you and walk you through the whole thing if needed step by step. In addition, they are always quick to answer e-mails. having good service that is timely and knowledgeable is something I highly value. I'm about to sign up again for the service as I just sold my previous business. Now with the new business I need the same things as I did before and Taxomate is a great software for it. Pros I liked that it was able to pull simple reports that integrate with quickbooks or Xero to be used for accounting. Also, I like that it was easy to hook up and automatically pulled the necessary information. Cons I would have liked for it to get a bit more detailed in regards to specific transactions such as per state. Owner Retail Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Best Settelment Reconciliation for Amazon Sellers using QuickBooks" March 11, 2021 5.0 Pros It's tax season so at my meeting with my accountant we quickly realized the need for a service that would import my e-commerce transactions to my QuickBooks Online. And since tax deadline is around the corner I had to do it quickly. I researched for a few services and I could tell right away that Taxomate was what I was looking for. The set up was super fast. I imported all my statements retroactively till up to date. And it syncs EVERYTHING, you returns, reserved payments, reimbursements, it is all calculated for you so you don't have to worry. It imports singled transactions with possible returns accounted for etc separately and properly into QuickBooks Online. When I had any doubt, I chatted with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and he was promptly responsive and would help me in less than 5 minutes. They have help pages that are very precise, clear and short that again help you handle everything in less than a minute or so. I highly recommend. Cons I honestly didn't have any bad experience with this software. Glad I trusted the all 5 stars reviews. In an effort to have accurate tax records for the prior financial year and ongoing I needed a software that worked with Xero. I found this referenced in a you tube video and it was just what I needed and at a way better price than any others available. Since downloading the customer service have fielded my ended questions, given me a 30 minute zoom call to show me how to use it and did the work I was having trouble with. I also like the easy of the settings. Pros This software was the perfect solution to a problem I faced. I am an Amazon Seller that wanted to bring detailed information into my Quickbooks Online. I had been entering transactions on my own as basic deposits, this helped get a larger picture of my business. Great product to work with, fairly easy to navigate. Customer service was an A plus which is hard to find these days. The cost is relatively low for the time it would take to enter this information on my own.
