Terrible service Pros The software worked for recovering my data. But without consent or warning I was automatically subscribed to a second month for a further fee. I immediately cancelled, and requested a refund but they stubbornly refuse and chance of refund, stating "your case does not meet our criteria for refund". Cons "30 day refund" is prominently advertised on the EaseUS website. BUT THIS IS A LIE. I happily paid the 1-month subscription for the time that I used the software. User interface is sleek. BUT.. read below Cons Will not work if your deleted files are on a SSD (Solid State Disk)! Given that SSDs are common in laptops and desktops these days, it was a big disappointment to me and a waste of money that I wasn't able to recover any files, though I was able to see their filenames. I requested for a refund and this is their reply: "In order to speed up SSD, TRIM would totally erase the file content after it was deleted and it is impossible to recover the lost file with any data recovery software or service." After some back and forth, they finally relented and gave a 50% refund. Wasted purchase which does not work for me at all. That's true that no data recovery software can help if the TRIM mode is on. That's still a barrier in this field. I'd suggest you try the free or trial version before buying any software. (Puis vidé la corbeille, bien évidemment). Après avoir appelé Apple qui n'a pas su me donner de réponse j'ai tenté ma chance avec EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard. Les nombreux commentaires négatifs assez inquiétants, m'ont fait hésiter longtemps, c'est pourquoi j'ai choisi de laisser un avis. Malgré les avis j'ai tout de même essayé car le logiciel voyait mon fichier supprimé. J'ai bien fait d'y croire car j'ai récupéré la quasi-totalité de mon dossier d'une taille de 96,5 Go. Je dis quasi, car il y a en effet quelques fichiers endommagés, mais très peu. Je suis ravie d'avoir pu sauver mon dossier. Cons Je trouve ça néanmoins cher, assez peu intuitif mais efficace. Locating files, but not being able to recover them is useless. The response to emails are untimely. Pros Initially, I was thrilled that a lot of my data was located on defective hard drive Cons Although, many of my files were located on the drive, none were recovered. I paid to use the app, followed instructions and expected to recover at least a few documents, out of thousands. When I hit "recover" nothing happened. I had to rescan again, which takes a very long time on a 1tb hard drive. I scanned a few times before checking the task manager ava the CPU was not moving, at all. It would be a better business practice to allow the costumer to purchase one month at a time. There was no reminder that payment for the renewal was happening on a certain date. This practice felt like a trick more than good costumer service. So, beware of auto renew. Pros The recovery on my external drive worked! Cons The auto-renew function could not be turned off until after the first week of use. And, by then you forget. So I do not want to keep the program in my computer for good and pay money for it. Pros Sometimes you can delete your files permanently, intentionally or by mistake. But after that you could need them again. At that point this program is very useful to recover. It is very easy to install to PC and to use. Even the free version of the program can help when you need an important file to be recovered. Cons At first we used this program's free version. But it allows you to recover only 2GB of data in free version. So we got base version for unlimited recovering. I found the price was high.
