I was panicking because my Sony camera’s SD card got corrupted, and I thought I had lost all my content. This software found everything quickly and restored it without any stress. Pros What I liked the most about EaseUS Data Recovery is how simple and intuitive the interface is. Even though I was really stressed because my SD card got corrupted, the software made everything super easy to follow. The scanning process was clear, and I could actually see my lost videos appear one by one, which gave me peace of mind. I didn’t need any tutorial or technical knowledge everything was self explanatory. The preview feature is also great because it lets you check what you’re recovering before saving it. Overall, the design and ease of use really stood out. Cons The only downside for me was the price. While I completely understand that powerful recovery software takes time and resources to develop, it would be nice if there was a slightly more affordable plan for users who only need it once. I just needed to recover a few videos, and the cost felt a bit high for a single use situation. However, I will say that it worked exactly as promised Review Source Warren C. In the audiovisual world, data loss isn't just an inconvenience; it's a potential catastrophe that can cost you a client or an entire project. EaseUS has been my lifesaver on more than one occasion, recovering hours of footage from corrupted memory cards and project files from failed drives. It's the first and only tool I trust. It has paid for itself countless times over, not just in money, but in peace of mind. To me, it's not an expense; it's the best investment and insurance a professional in my field can have. Pros Its reliability is unmatched. As an audiovisual professional, I've faced the panic of losing crucial footage from corrupted SD cards and accidentally formatted hard drives. EaseUS's ability to perform a deep scan and recover files I thought were gone forever is simply astounding. The interface is clean and intuitive, which makes an inherently stressful process so much more manageable. It's the solution that just works when you need it most. Cons If I had to point out anything, it would be that the deep scans can be quite time-consuming, especially on large-capacity drives. However, this is completely understandable and expected for a thorough data recovery process. I would much rather wait for a successful outcome than have a fast solution that fails. The value it delivers more than justifies the wait. My laptop was being repaired so I was unable to ingest images every day. I deleted eight days of images accidentally while helping a friend on the phone. Pros I was working on the phone with a client/friend helping her with her Sony a9 iii menu. She wanted to copy her settings in case she screwed anything up. So I grabbed my 400-800 with a Sony a-1 on it. Just for fun, I hit Playback and checked out a few of the wonderful images I had made during the past eight days. As noted previously, I had a single Delkin Devices 960GB BLACK CFexpress Type A 4.0 Memory Card in each of my two camera bodies. Anyhoo, the first step for her was to grab an old card, stick it in the camera, and Format it. “I worked through the process while looking at the Menu on my camera. And, despite the fact that I had just finished looking at the images on the card,I “demonstrated” the steps for her on my camera. A minute later during a lull in the conversation, I hit Playback again and was aghast to see “No Images.” I had deleted more than 2,000 images from my recent (laptop-less) morning bird photography sessions. How could I possibly have done that? Like a plane crash — I have been binge-watching Air Disasters for the past ten days, several things (2 in this case) had to happen in the exact right order. #1: I had sent my laptop in for repair. Thus, my regular workflow — shoot, download, pick my keepers, back-up twice, was disrupted. #2: My brain was in “helping Pat” mode. In that mindset, I was not in any way aware of the fact that what I was doing would delete the images on the card in the rig that was in my hands. The story has a happy ending. I purchased EaseUS Data Recovery . It took about 30 minutes to identify all the images and then, in less than ten minutes, had recovered all the images. Once I had recovered all the images, I backed up the laptop, formatted the card, copied the entire folder back to the card, and Ingested the images with Photo Mechanic so that they would be place in the proper Month/Day/Year folders with the location, “Indian Lake Estates,” affixed to the file name. Perfection and happiness. Cons I wish that it had prompted me to enter the activation code right off the bat as I was a bit confused for a minute. I have relocated often, changing location and I'll not always have backups with me so I konw I'll be able to use Recovery Wizard from any location to access deleted files on my Mac. Pros The product quickly scan sand identifies lost files with a running view of available files to select which saves having to wait until completion of a complete disk scan before selecting a file or document to recover. Cons For me It's expensive for the amount of use I am going to get from it. In terms of its base function which is recovery of lost files it is of course invaluable. here seems to be a bias towards windows, as a result I've downloaded a windows exe file so take care when making the order if you have a Mac. It positions itself as a "first responder" for common data loss scenarios, and for the most part, it excels in this role. The experience is largely positive, especially for users who are not data recovery experts. Pros The step-by-step wizard makes data recovery accessible even for users with no technical expertise. You don't need to understand file systems or recovery algorithms; you just follow the clear instructions. Cons The full version is considered expensive compared to some competitors. Users often feel the free version is too limited (often only 2GB of recovery), forcing a purchase.
