We had to fight through complicated settings and licensing issues to achieve what should have been a straightforward result. However, my experience with \[sensitive content hidden\] was completely different. She was fantastic throughout the process and helped us finally get things sorted. Five stars for \[sensitive content hidden\], but the product itself definitely needs to be simpler and more transparent. Pros The customer support, especially \[sensitive content hidden\], was excellent. She was friendly, professional and genuinely helpful. She took ownership of our issue, helped us resolve the billing problems and arranged a credit for incorrect charges. I would give her customer service 5 stars. Cons The product is very complicated and not particularly user-friendly. Something as simple as limiting which users need signatures turned into a long and frustrating process. We had to spend far too much time investigating settings, changing mail flow rules and contacting support just to get the licensing under control. No issues with security or connecting into our Azure tenant. Exclaimer employees have responded professionally and politely in all correspondence, giving the impression their only task is to "make it right" for the customer. Pros We use Signature Manager for two (2) primary reasons: (1) marketing, advertising, communication with customers and prospects. Able to display a one line monthly special with clickable link (2) security - since Signature Manager is append to all email in Exchange online, then even when sending from mobile devices or simple linux mail client, the signature is attached. When we receive the usual phishing emails which appear to be forwarded from someone else in the company, it is easy to spot the fake (Signature Manager is missing) We NEVER send email without Signature manager attached, unless this is from an application where the email will be parsed by another application. Even network notifcation email has Signature Manager attached. Cons Have not found any. Customer service and accounts are always responsive when the usual business hicups occur when either Exclaimer updates their systems or we make changes to our Azure tenant. Review Source KW Karl W. It does what we need it to do and makes managing company-wide email signatures straightforward. We recently worked with Yin Wai Yeung on our renewal and our move from our legacy plan to the Standard plan. Yin was helpful throughout, answered our questions clearly and made the renewal and upgrade process simple. We also agreed on a renewal price that worked for us, which we appreciated. Pros Exclaimer makes it easy to centrally manage email signatures across our organisation and keep everything consistent with our branding. Once everything is set up, it requires very little to no day-to-day management and changes can be rolled out quickly across all users. The support has also been very helpful when we’ve needed it. Cons The subscription price has increased each year, so the ongoing cost is probably the main downside for us. It would be good to see more competitive pricing or loyalty discounts for long-standing customers. Another issue is that our company logo isn't as high-quality as we'd like. Pros Exclaimer remains one of our most reliable work tools/subscriptions, with its consistency in giving returns to our investment, flexibility and ease of use, and importantly, continuous improvements with its customer service, reflected in my recent experience with \[sensitive content hidden\] while they handled an issue I had raised. Cons While the experience with Exclaimer has generally be great, I think one area of improvement should be around the yearly increase in pricing. To be clear, their pricing is fair. We opted to not use the server side because we did not feel comfortable having all our emails routed through a random server (They could spend some more time explaining their server hosting, uptime and security a little better) for the purpose of a signature. Pros It's very easy to get consistency across your entire team with their tool. It's also going to be fantastic for advertising and event marketing. Cons Setup was not as smooth as expected, and the support team seems pretty scattered. I got there eventually, but the constant emails from Zendesk checking in on my case after I considered them to be closed were quite annoying. For some reason we had a minor issue of having to re-create a signature group. I typically connect exclaimer to microsoft office 365 tenants for use with company emails. I have sometimes used the premade templates from exclaimer but often created my own custom templates and I have also reached out to exclaimer in the past and asked them to create a custom template for me, based on a design that I provided. Pros I love how easy it is to create professional and complex email signatures and to deploy them throughout the company for use by all users. I also like the reseller program and the fact that I can also manage my clients email signatures from one online dashboard. Cons Although the signature creation tool is quite good it is sometimes a little complicated to use and often there are quirks when it comes to setting up a signature with a specific layout. Aside from the signature HTML editor limitations mentioned above, the service does what it is supposed to do with G Suite. It's a clever hack they're doing to add signatures to outgoing messages through G Suite without actually channeling mail through the Exclaimer Cloud SMTP servers. G Suite checks in with Exclaimer Cloud on every message sent (regardless of sending client - web, mobile, or desktop), and if appropriate, it tacks the signature on to the message. Then, the modified message with signature goes out via G Suite's SMTP servers, so there's little danger of spam issues. By and large, I'd say this is a clever product that does its job well, and with more enhancements to the admin tools, it could be a five-star product. It just needs time to mature. Pros This product does exactly what it is supposed to do - once it is set up. The initial setup of the service for G Suite is \*very\* intricate. You must follow every last detail exactly in order for the system to work properly. However, that being said, their instructions are perfect. While lengthy and technical, as long as you follow their instructions to the letter, the service will work and it will work well. After initial setup of the G Suite integration, using it is a breeze. Cons There are different flavors of their products depending on your mail server setup. We use G Suite, and their signature builder for G Suite is very limited. Yes, it is functional. It's not bug-laden or broken in any way, it's just limited. You do not have access over the source code for what you build as a signature. You're forced to use their visual signature editor. For novices, that's probably fine. But if you know basic HTML and you're just looking for a simple table or block of text as a signature, their visual signature builder creates bloated, unnecessary code that isn't always compatible with every email client that receives it. This bloated code means that signatures might display differently if someone views your email signature in a different email client. If I had direct control over the HTML of my email signatures, I could minimize the bloat and strip it down for maximum compatibility. The G Suite version of their product, as of July 2021, does not allow you to so this. That is one of my few criticisms of the product. Reason for choosing Exclaimer Exclaimer Cloud had the largest user base and reviews of them indicated that while not perfect, it seemed to be the most mature offering in this category. Also comprehensive information consistency for each associate. It's convenient and helpful. Pros Integration and set-up took the longest just getting all our employee info into the fields. But once set-up, it was fairly easy to use and manage. We love the ability to have different signatures for each of our divisions. Cons Not being able to turn off signatures on replies - you can, but it turns it off on all replies, including replying for the FIRST time to a customer or vendor. If a customer reaches out to you first and you've turned off signatures for replies, the reply you make to that customer and essentially emailing them for the first time, won't include your signature. We just wanted to be able to turn it off after you've replied or emailed someone for the first time within the same thread so there wouldn't be so many graphics in one thread. But right now, if you turn off the signatures on replies, it turns it off for every reply regardless if it's the 1st, 2nd, etc. There are also some problems with iOS where the images in the signature each turn into attachments to the email upon replies on mobile email. There is a work around but we are still having a few problems. Pros I like the fact you can very quickly have a signature up and running and applied to all users very quickly to get your started. As you become more familiar with the product its very easy to add more signatures and more complicated signatures to really stand out and collect customer feedback if needed. The main downside is that it took our IT team about a year to get around to implementing some custom AD fields to sync with Exclaimer, but the system is flexible enough that we were able to move forward with more manual methods until the dev work was completed. Pros Exclaimer provides all of the needed organization and sectioning for our business with 3 distinct units that all rely on separated branding and control. Also, when I made a little booboo and it stopped working (my fault) - their support was fantastic - resolved the issue in the first suggestion. Pros It does everything it says as well as it needs to - it's far easier than managing signatures manually. I started using it when it was just me - ensuring signatures get applied uniformly across all devices - it wasn't possible before - different apps have different capabilities - this isn't dependent on any features on apps or devices Cons Nothing really - I guess they could give it away for free? Creating signatures very straight forward. I know the product well enough to udpate or create new signtures quickly. The testing feature works great. Cons Sometimes we have a user that the last character in a line is chopped off. It is very random and have not been able to resolve - happens in Outlook (internal and external), but not to other mail programs. Not all features have been updated and switching back and forth between new and classic is a pain. We implemented pronouns in our signature using a custom attribute sync with Exclaimer. The support team was able to assist us quickly. Setting everything up in Exclaimer was simple and easily completed. Pros I like how intuitive and easy to use it is. I feel comfortable giving access to certain non-IT personnel to manage signatures and know, that after some training, I won't get many tickets on it. Cons I can't use it in Microsoft Edge. I had to download another browser just to get this product to fully work.
