And easy to customize Cons The only critical problem with this software is that the Recall Option for Email will not work as the mail has to reroute from Exclaimer. Microsoft has stopped the process. We did experience a lot of issues with the setup and deployment, but the remote support made this easier for us. Cons The overall setup and deployment with G-Suite is very complex. Cons The new interface needs to be fixed so that it as solid as the old interface. Reason for choosing Exclaimer My peers recommended we use it as they had previous experience with it. Pros It's ease of use. From creating a new signature from scratch, to editing an existing one. Cons Sometimes it is a bit of a puzzle to work out why signatures aren't being deployed.You also cannot import HTML into it, which is what some 3rd party graphic designers use. When it comes to signature design, it's simple tables and boxes making for an easy layout, but you can get very detailed if you wish. Pros Standardising and automating email signatures is hugely beneficial for marketing/communications and for maintaining brand consistency. Cons When first using Exclaimer, admin could edit and set up signatures with the raw HTML. This was very useful when dealing with small formatting issues that can be hard to fix without access to HTML. Since that was taken away, I do have problems with the editor at times. It can be quite buggy at times to do simple tasks, for example making hyperlinked text underlined and blue for consistency for users. Review Source DL Dennies L. May 12, 2020 5.0 I got the initial setup done in less than a day thanks to the help of the support agent who handled our implementation. Once I got the hang of how everything worked, I basically set it and forgot it. Its something that doesn't really require much time to manage. Pros I love how easy it was to set up. I used the on prem version before this and we transitioned to the cloud version. Both versions do the same thing but differently. Once I got my mind wrapped around the way the cloud version did things, everything went smoothly. Cons I really don't anything that I don't like about the product. Basic signatures are easy to setup and the signature checker tool is very handy. Within a few clicks we were setup and ready to start pushing signatures to our users. May 29, 2021 5.0 Pros It provides MSP portal to manage sub-tenants. It was super easy to provision, completely wizard-driven. The signature design view is easy for our techs or even our clients to use. Extending AD attributes (AD connect + 365/AzureAD + Exclaimer) met the niche need of our client for multiple, wildly varying phone numbers. I also liked that this system will require very little maintenance and sets us apart from our competitors. Cons The only thing I didn't like was the onboarding experience. You're literally on your own, but thankfully there is a plethora of well-written documentation to follow. It can just be overwhelming for the first client. Pros We were using the default email disclaimer from Microsoft exchange server but the different entities in our holding company wanted something unique and exclusive of their own. Exclaimer was the best choice as it gave all entities the ability to have custom designed signatures. The Golf course has it's own themed design and the Convention Center could put the awards from the ICCA. The drag and drop feature makes setting up email signatures easy to manage on the back end. We used an existing template that we later updated with our company's elements, icons and colors, so that was a cool feature in making Exclaimer easy to use. Overall, our email signatures went from looking dodgy to very clean and professional which is what we asked for. Cons There were a lot of murky details with how the client-side and server-side signatures worked. We were greatly disappointed to later learn that server-side signatures do not apply on encrypted emails. There were inconsistencies with email signatures populating on sent items. Also it would be much easier to setup signatures if we were able to somehow stack multiple conditions for visibility rules. Review Source RB Rumer B. Now one staff member can set-up & update signatures without having to remote access each computer individually to make the changes (or worse, talk your colleague through how to make the changes!). Customer support is easy to contact via the webchat option. Cons Sometimes the design set-up can be a little tricky but with practice its a breeze. Pros Its relatively easy to use as long as you don't hit any snags. Cons The support. Have to wait for the best part of a week in order to be able to share your issue online with a technical person, then they just cancel. 1st time the support person said "something urgent has come up" right on the time that the call was scheduled, no other warning given. So then had to go and reschedule another call, another week goes by, and the day before I get a message saying that I've booked the person for a time that they're not available!! It was your booking system that let me book that time!! Really!! SO then I have to book another one, another week goes by...thats 3 weeks of NO technical support. With Lotus Notes there was no automated signature solution available. We actually had to have each staff member copy an html file, change the contents, then upload it themselves. Very problematic! With Exclaimer we have come from the dark ages, to having a super easy to maintain, great looking signature platform. We can change images and links on the fly to sync with marketing initiatives. And the users have to do nothing! Pros Very easy to set up and deploy. Great ease to be able to filter on attributes of users to define which signature to use. Cons The price is a little over the value given I feel. Reason for choosing Exclaimer Ease of deployment and administration. Ease to change contents on the fly. O365 supported. Cons Formating is easy with drag and drop, but images renders differently on Mobile devices (Outlook app in particular). If you have say a 1000x1000 image but scale it down to 100x100 inside Exclaimer, it'll render properly on Webmail and Outlook, but Outlook mobile the image will still be 1000x1000. Sometimes the embedded images in the signature also show up as attachments, likely because some mail clients dont support rich text/html. Review Source MF Marion F. July 21, 2020 5.0 Pros Using Exclaimer Cloud was a simple choice for us, it integrated into our existing Microsoft stack and provided us with many different options for the use of our signatures. When we moved offices, it was easy to notify our clients of the new address, or when we have promotions, it is easy to add that to all of our signatures without having to have our users do it and hope for compliance. Pros Exclaimer has been really useful in enabling us to ensure we have matching email signatures when sending emails from all out devices via Outlook, we're a 2 man business so this time save is really useful as we can make a change to our signatures for example over the festive period and automatically have that signature look the same whether we are emailing from our laptops, iphone or android. Additionally we had a part time staff member join and we were easily able to give him the same signature too. Really professional and helps us control our business consistently. UK call centre for support and detailed email guidance when we've needed it have been good too. Cons No cons, good value for money and easy to implement. It is really easy to manage all signatures and to create them. Cons We did need the help of our IT colleagues, because for the inital configuration there has to be done something in the mailflow.
