"Thanks, Scott!" \*Tips hat.\* Pros Recalling the difficulty I had trying to have signatures work across all email clients / platforms (such a task seemed nearly impossible), this software solved my personal work-related woes. Cons A competing product did offer access to an HTML editor where one could fiddle and tweak. I liked that functionality. A small thing, but it was nice. Realistically, however, there isn't really a great need for it. Reason for choosing Exclaimer Honestly -- CodeTwo was every bit as good as Exclaimer. Their software worked nicely. No complaints. It was a toss between Exclaimer and CodeTwo. We had gone farther down the email signature software rabbit hole with Exclaimer to have bothered to go with CodeTwo. CodeTwo certainly were diligent in their attempts to sway us to switch. CodeTwo were quite good, especially having access to phone support. No disrespect to those cats, that's for sure. Even can include some coupon codes in our signature. One unintended benefit is "email legitimacy." One of the ways I tell my users to look for sketchy emails that are spoofed to look like someone in the company is to look at the signature. A phisher never gets the exclaimer signature right. Pros We really like the product. It's advanced enough that it works very well with O365 and it's easy enough to use for our Creative Team to design the signatures. The price point could be better, but definitely could be worse compared to other options in the market. Pros I like how customizable the signatures and are, alongside how easy it is to manage the users and groups they are applied to. Companies with an established marketing team including designers might find the templates and premade signatures are a little bit repetitive and create their own. Cons The setup was a bit confusing at time when implementing it to an existing system, as well there are some nuances that aren't mentioned in the setup instructions but they are just that, nuances. Copying a template and modifying it for each business unit is fast and easy using the web based editor. Once configured we don't have to worry about the service. It is extremely reliable. Pros Signature Design and Management is simple and easy, the website is well designed enabling anyone to easily create and manage signatures from an expert point of view all the way down to a 1st line point of view. Cons Occasionally there are things that aren't well explained or understandable, however this is mitigated by speaking with Customer Support who resolve the issues in a timely manner. Had a few minor issues with the setup, which was down to Microsoft but exclaimer showed us what to correct. Since new staff added automatically and getting standardised signature, have had to apply multiple versions since and it is so simple. I have now assigned non technical staff to manage it. Pros Able to make changes and have them applied globally with ease. Ability to have different signatures apply to different groups, which a catch all at the end so can accommodate user groups that have special college requirements, etc. Cons Lack of ability to split on word instead of having weird words being hyphenated that looked funny when signature viewed on certain screens. Reason for choosing Exclaimer Don't recall alternative we looked at; however, it was a small company that did a custom signature and we had to host / manage the software on-prem. Once it is setup, changes to signatures are a snap. I would recommend to anyone looking for a signature design app that will greatly enhance your email signatures. Pros I found the design software to be straight forward, easy to use, and easy to deploy. Created our first professional looking email signature in just a couple of hours. I can now create individual signatures for use with different departments very easily, add it to their email client or have it added server side if they use their smartphone for email. Any changes to signature design are automatically updated to all the clients, love it! Cons Exclaimer may not be for people that are not tech savy, for the setup especially.
