It functions well on the user end. Is very simple to train for end users. A bit frustrating and complicated to manage, but nothing that any operations or IT team couldn't handle. Pros Reliable service, haven't had any down time. Competitive pricing structure Broad capability for rules with the signatures Cons The interface can be frustrating to use. Changes sometimes do not save or windows close randomly. Can become very frustrating while designing complicated signature with a lot of rendering rules. The user database updates when a user is added, but not when one is deactivated. This can get frustrating if you forget to reduce your license count. Some of the rules do not apply as you would expect - it can take some time to get used to, but isn't overwhelmingly difficult. Can cause mail routing issues with Barracuda or other email threat management software. Not impossible task to work around, but many of our emails were flagged early on in our implementation. Pros The software enables safe integration within the Microsoft 365 eco system. Our clients when using Microsoft 365 need to use services where we know where the data is hosted, we know the credentials of the supplier and there is a history with planned pipeline of additional features which drive reseller sales. Cons The software has very few floors. Development is required to centralize support for partners and resellers to get the best out of management of the service. For some reason we had a minor issue of having to re-create a signature group. The setup was fairly simple and the ease of grouping employees based off department, building, etc. was extremely helpful. Cons The only item I found to be inconvenient was waiting for the policy to replicate across the company. I found it sometimes took 20 minutes for all users to be updated or it could take 24 hours. I typically connect exclaimer to microsoft office 365 tenants for use with company emails. I have sometimes used the premade templates from exclaimer but often created my own custom templates and I have also reached out to exclaimer in the past and asked them to create a custom template for me, based on a design that I provided. Pros I love how easy it is to create professional and complex email signatures and to deploy them throughout the company for use by all users. I also like the reseller program and the fact that I can also manage my clients email signatures from one online dashboard. Cons Although the signature creation tool is quite good it is sometimes a little complicated to use and often there are quirks when it comes to setting up a signature with a specific layout. Aside from the signature HTML editor limitations mentioned above, the service does what it is supposed to do with G Suite. It's a clever hack they're doing to add signatures to outgoing messages through G Suite without actually channeling mail through the Exclaimer Cloud SMTP servers. G Suite checks in with Exclaimer Cloud on every message sent (regardless of sending client - web, mobile, or desktop), and if appropriate, it tacks the signature on to the message. Then, the modified message with signature goes out via G Suite's SMTP servers, so there's little danger of spam issues. By and large, I'd say this is a clever product that does its job well, and with more enhancements to the admin tools, it could be a five-star product. It just needs time to mature. Pros This product does exactly what it is supposed to do - once it is set up. The initial setup of the service for G Suite is \*very\* intricate. You must follow every last detail exactly in order for the system to work properly. However, that being said, their instructions are perfect. While lengthy and technical, as long as you follow their instructions to the letter, the service will work and it will work well. After initial setup of the G Suite integration, using it is a breeze. Cons There are different flavors of their products depending on your mail server setup. We use G Suite, and their signature builder for G Suite is very limited. Yes, it is functional. It's not bug-laden or broken in any way, it's just limited. You do not have access over the source code for what you build as a signature. You're forced to use their visual signature editor. For novices, that's probably fine. But if you know basic HTML and you're just looking for a simple table or block of text as a signature, their visual signature builder creates bloated, unnecessary code that isn't always compatible with every email client that receives it. This bloated code means that signatures might display differently if someone views your email signature in a different email client. If I had direct control over the HTML of my email signatures, I could minimize the bloat and strip it down for maximum compatibility. The G Suite version of their product, as of July 2021, does not allow you to so this. That is one of my few criticisms of the product. Reason for choosing Exclaimer Exclaimer Cloud had the largest user base and reviews of them indicated that while not perfect, it seemed to be the most mature offering in this category. Pros It was so simple to integrate our Active Directory fields with the signatures, it kept things simple. I also very like the server-side signatures, when you're used to not seeing your signature but know it's attached, I find it very useful. It meets all the basic and advanced functionality that may be required and the support team is also very helpful. Pros Exclaimer is great as it allows you to create visually beautiful and informative email signatures without having to code. It also allows you to assign these email signatures to certain users that meet a certain parameter - for example the department the user is located in.We integrated Exclaimer with Office 365 with no issues. The information that is displayed in the user's email signature - job title, email address, phone number, etc. is extracted from that user's Office 365 profile. Cons We attend a lot of events each year and change our email signatures accordingly, especially the banner, to advertise those events. There is a 150kB limit for the banner, which is a handicap because you can't upload a high quality animated banner without surpassing that limit, so we have to work around this problem.Also Exclaimer has the option to integrate leaving feedback in the signatures, but this lacks customization for us and we decided not to implement this option in the end. Pros I like the fact you can very quickly have a signature up and running and applied to all users very quickly to get your started. As you become more familiar with the product its very easy to add more signatures and more complicated signatures to really stand out and collect customer feedback if needed. I don't have to worry about setting this up on multiple devices for one person. I don't have to worry about it not applying to a user. Seeing this signature in a users email helps identify spoofed emails that don't contain the proper signature. Honestly 10/10 for any business. Pros Most love goes towards the AD Sync pulling dynamic data for users signatures AND saving techs time creating this for each user and manually entering in the information. Bonus is it works on all devices web mail, mobile phones so never have to worry about it not being applied to a user when they send an email. It's simple to create new signatures, and will save a lot of time at Christmas if we decide to add a seasonal message to our email footers. Plus everyone's will look the same! Pros Clean crisp signatures are just a click away. Personal information like email addresses and mobile numbers can be pulled transparently from Azure active directory, making highly professional yet personalised signatures extremely simple to create. Setting up multiple signatures and then switching them on and off centrally removes any requirement for users to have to manage their own email branding. We like the software so much we are in the process of becoming an Exclaimer partner. Cons There's little to dislike really. I think the only thing I found slightly difficult was image management within the signature and in the end, I wound up resizing and creating aggregated images externally to Exclaimer before uploading. Pros The product is easy to implement, setup and deploy. Integration to Microsoft 365 exchange is automated, so virtually no setup needed on the Exchange Server side. Cons An easier way to deploy the Microsoft Outlook plug-in could be researched. It's not a major problem, but maybe moved to the server side instead of manual user installation. The setup takes time but if done correctly means once it is setup it just works very well, I integrated all my signatures with AD groups so rarely need to go into the Exclaimer portal for my clients Pros Once setup it just works, you add users to the groups that they need to be part of and the signature automatically is applies as well as when updated all signatures are automatically updated Cons The signature design is very clunky, you can't free move the elements around and can take some time to get used to. Then we migrated to office365 and needed to continue using something to manage our signatures. Discovered that Exclaimer had their cloud software. It was a snap to setup and has worked for us since we migrated. Pros The web interface is easy to use and intuitive. It admittedly took a bit to figure out the web interface having come from the desktop apps, but now making new signatures and applying them is a breeze! Cons Syncing changes from Office 365 only occurs once a day so when someone wants a change to their signature (e.g. Title Change or Custom Attribute - we use those for certifications and educational credentials) updated immediately you have to manually sync. Reason for choosing Exclaimer We had already been using the desktop apps so when we saw they had this available we thought it would be easiest to migrate to the cloud solution. Review Source
