I like the easy of use, and flexibility of functionality. Basically everything you would need is in this package

Cons

Like anything, it's hard not to look at competitors and want for a small thing here and there, but overall it's solid

Pros

The Chat is amazing and great to use. Now I can stop using other email and marketing platforms because Gist does it all.

Cons

Gist needs to add more pre design elements such at email and forms are built and design for different campaigns.

I've been able to convert trial users into paying customers with no extra effort on my part, and follow up on shopping cart abandonment to boost customer lifetime value quickly and painlessly.

Pros

Easy to use after getting over the initial learning curve (it's got a lot of advanced features so it may take a bit of messing with everything to get the \*Gist\* of things - but well worth the effort). Makes marketing automation more precise and effective with minimal extra work or effort.

Cons

Not much, as mentioned in the Pros there's a bit of a learning curve but once you've gotten the hang of things it's a smooth experience.

We use Gist to communicate with our customers in real time and are very happy with it.

Pros

What I like most about Gist is that it's easy to use. I pasted some code on my site and now the conversation bubble is active. I really appreciate how I can customize which pages it appears on.

Cons

I would like a few more of the features available in the mobile app, but I understand that that would be hard to implement. The app does a great job at making the chat available to me everywhere.

Our main use of Gist is for customer support via the Live Chat functionality on our corporate website. This was the strongest selling point when they released the service and still is the main reason we use it. It also functions as a lightweight CRM and has many lead generation tools.

Pros

1\. LiveChat is great, it even supports many languages, which is very handy if you're website visitors are not native english speakers. 2. The CRM module offers basic information about your visitors, which helps in crafting your audience segmentation. 3. It has integrated email campaigns. This wasn't extensively tested by us, but it'll be perfect for mid-sized audience with just a few thousand subscribers.

Cons

1\. Email editor could use some improvements. 2. Would be nice to have a more robust CRM module.

Pros

I love Gist. That I get a really neat chatbot and insights into visitors on my site has been useful and eye opening. And then there's the email marketing. I am now actually sending out emails to a list which I hadn't done regularly before when using other solutions.

Cons

I've been a little confused about flowing subscribers from one list to another but I just have to spend more time in the tutorials.

I look around to find the "personalize Chat Prompts" feature a long time and I found it on Gist. I have more messages from my visitor when I use them. It helps me build a relationship with my visitors.

Pros

I love a special feature on Gist, it's Show a Chat Prompts when trigger activity on your site.

Cons

Gist didn't run chatbot on the Facebook platform. They run chatbots on their own chat platform only.

My overall experience with Gist is great! The service is what keeps me as their loyal customer.

Pros

Having the ability to have an email list to communicate to my audience, The ease of setting up with customer service. The community is awesome! It's a place to share learning. Having the ability to communicate to website visitors from through chat.

Cons

There's a learning curve. In the beginning, learning how to set up campaigns were difficult. The opt-in forms are not easy to customize for my brand.

I was looking for a solution for the backend scripts behind our website, mailings. I was one of the first adopters of the system. My goal was to have a good reason not to do it ourselves or stay behind trends. The team of Gist kept delivering more value with more features. They became an inspiration on marketing tools and practice. For example I discovered the liveview feature, now I'm thinking how to use it for better understanding of our audience.

Pros

Chatbox widget, that was my initial requirement Forms and contact database Ability to add attributes to contact database API to connect with our scripts

Cons

I wished the customization of the look and feel be more comprehensive.

I was looking for a "helpdesk" solution with near time chat from our website.

Pros

I like the ability to see each page a user has visited on our website and I like being able to reply to customers in near real time.

Cons

It's very un-intuitive and it is too easy to accidentally change or delete data if you click on the wrong icon. What I find most dismaying is there is no way to cancel the account. Once you are signed up, you held hostage. You cannot cancel from the account page nor the subscription page. There is no way to reach someone live and they do not reply to email.

Reason for choosing Gist

The reviews were good and from the description on their website it seemed like a good fit. It wasn't.

Pros

8 powerful tools to increase my business. GIST is the perfect tool to handle automation: marketing, support, knowledge base, forms, bots, tracking and much more. Your perfect ally!

Cons

I do not dislike anything. GIST has a LOT of functions and it's not always so easy to understand which tool to use for a specific goal. They have many article and videos, but I would suggest to add more documentation for advanced functions and scenarios. The support team is always available and ready to help though.

It had a great end easy overview. You can make a funnel easaliy and plan emails so you can work by bulking
