Pros

I like their super cool chat widget and user interface also their knowledgebase. Gist knowledgebase reduces customer ticket submission a lot.

Cons

In Facebook page integration I can only reply FB page messages through gist. But here is no option to reply customer comments like ladesk. I missed this feature badly in gist.

Pros

The feature that won us over is their integrated knowledgebase into their chat widget.

Cons

The only thing they can still improve is giving us the ability to send a message to the person after they enter their personal information such as name and email. Right now they enter their name and email and just have to wait for someone to come online

Great. I love their support team.

Pros

Gist has a lot of great features and a roadmap that is amongst the best in the industry. Their support and interaction with us has been great and we will continue to use them for the foreseeable future.

Cons

Everything is pretty easy to use. When coming from a different provider, maybe some fast track features to transfer information from one system to another.

Pros

Gist has all basic options for a marketing platform from live chat to email support and others. What I like the most is that the company is working everyday to bring new features and they care about their clients.

Cons

The software is good, of course, it needs a bit of improvement in UX but overall is very good. I think support agents should be more active.

Great experience overall. No issues encountered.

Pros

The best thing about Gist for us is how it handles contacts and segments. It's incredibly easy to define a segment and watch as it grows or shrinks in real-time. You get to define it by very customizable criteria based on anything from user properties to their actions on the site. Probably the best implementation I've seen.

Cons

The workflow/journey builder is very basic, yet if improved can quadruple the benefit of using this software and tying all of its components together.

I totally recommend Gist for business owners wanting a single platform handling all customer communications!

Pros

Gist (originally ConvertFox) grew a LOT in the last year, offering much more than a simple 'customer communication' platform! I mostly appreciate the opportunity to get leads from the automated chatbot options!

Cons

Because there is so much packed on this platform, it takes a bit of getting used to, a solid learning curve to have everything set up and working together!

Pros

I always knew I would need a system like this once. Initially, I didn't see the opportunity, but as I progressed, I was taking advantage of the system. I am constantly training myself to use it well, but there is still room for improvement. I am happy to use this system as it facilitates communication between the buyer and me.

Cons

Many features still need to be developed, but they are on the right track. Hopefully I can give you an even better evaluation soon.

Pros

We run our marketing campaigns with Gist, set up a Knowledge base and run a chat box on our website. The benefit lies in having it all in one place.

Pros

I love the clean look and the wide variety of options. It is very good that you have all communication with your users in one place!

Cons

Some parts are in beta version, others are not

The support is great. They are always there to help. It's great to see the development of the product.

Pros

That they develop the tool steadily. The support is amazing. If there is any problem, they try to help as best as they can. I’m very impressed by how the tool developed since I got it. 

Cons

No webhooks and integromat for my plan available. And they block workflows in my plan. Would like to connect more other apps I’m using with webhooks or integromat.

It really is an easy way to implement and test a new channel to communicate with your costumers (we mainly use it as a live chat tool).

Pros

It was really easy, from a non programmer point of view, to install it and use it within our website. And the few hiccups we experienced were easily resolved by Gists support team.

Cons

The trial/princing was a bit confusing and we had to redo the internal process due to that.

Overall, Gist is a very helpful tool which I would recommend to my colleagues.

Pros

We use Gist for email marketing and chat bot for the most part. Customer Support has been very prompt in their replies, which is a big plus point. Very convenient to use live chat. Email marketing automation is very convenient.

Cons

New feature integrations can be a little difficult to fit into existing workflows. Other than that, I haven't had any issue while using Gist.
