"Why Wafefront LIMS is Essential"

Overall: LIMS has been indispensible in coordinating our laboratory, as there are often many moving parts between the different tests, how long they take, what step of a larger study they may be, and how the tests should be reported. LIMS helps to easily define these processes.

Pros: Among the most significant features of Wavefront LIMS is the ease of use. New employees can rapidly become seasoned veterans with very straightforward and easy to understand systems. LIMS documents beautifully for auditors, as it documents the date and time that events happened, creating a perpetual paper trail that one can point to. In terms of cost, it was reasonable for what our company was willing to pay compared to other similar products.

Cons: While there is great ease of use, it would likely some training to get an employee fully accustomed to the service. Yet, for employees with limited need and usage, minimal training is needed to get them on their feet and running. This is due to the thorough nature of the product, however. I's are dotted and T's are crossed, which oft times takes a little additional training to ensure.

"Highly Recommend LIMS software"

Overall: We have been able to eliminate a lot of paper pushing and it saves so much time and space. I absolutely love that you are able to attach items and store in LIMS, we are a medical device Lab, and we are daily having to go back to previous years research, and it makes it so much easier find the records all in one place. I most definitely recommend this software to any business.

Pros: Before going to LIMS we were strictly paper and it made it difficult to find records from previous years, however the search engines in LIMS allows you to find things in record time as well as you can set up your preferences on things you would need on the daily. Their support team is on point, they are quick to respond when any issues arise.

Cons: I honestly believe this program is so user friendly and takes little to no time to learn how to use the software. It makes training new employees a breeze. The only con I have is that sometimes it takes a while to load certain screens and times out daily.

"Review of Wavefront LIMS from a Medical Device Laboratory Technician"

Pros: I like that it helps organize my workflow and makes searching for tests easy, as well as managing results.

Cons: I feel like it would be beneficial to offer more tutorials on all the functionalities without having to go through the higher ups in my organization to channel through, but that's a relatively minor complaint.

"Amazing Program Would Recommend "

Overall: Being in the medical device field LIMS is the perfect program to keep all projects in one place. LIMS provides an ease of access when dealing with multiple projects by being able to quickly search and find any previous or on-going records. It is also helpful that any documentation utilized outside the program can be easily uploaded and stored into the program keeping everything together and organized.

Pros: The ability to personalize the program in many ways from the main page to the search sections makes it easier to track one's own individual projects and be quickly updated with status on others.

Cons: The only con I have would be when the program times out.

"Phenomenal Customer Support & Impressive Customizations"

Pros: Their customer service is unmatched. They have an incredibly helpful team that always responds quickly.

Cons: Honestly, nothing. The company has been wonderful to work with and they have been able to work on the functionalities we have requested of them.

Pros: Easy to use and able to figure things out.

Cons: Having the samples one the same page as the top layer.

"FRNPs Review"

Overall: I have worked with many software companies and Wavefront is thus far the best as far as product and customer service.

Pros: The interaction with Wavefront to help resolve or how to best achieve what the costumers need.

Cons: The navigation area for retrieving a component. Would like to use wildcards in the Retrieve Component area like "333%" to narrow down what you might be looking for instead of the whole ID. A person may not know the whole ID.

"Satisfied "

Cons: freezes now and then when switching tabs

"Awesome Laboratory Management Information System (LIMS) "

Overall: This is a wonderful company with a wonderful product and excellent support. They are receptive to changes and willing to work to achieve your company's long-term vision for data storage, integrity, and reporting.

Pros: The support is great. We have had the LIMS for several years and are now at a place where we can focus on advanced implementation work. They are right there with us and working hard to make our software become what we envisioned it can be. And we have big visions.

Cons: Honestly, I can't think of anything I find fault with.

Reasons for Choosing Wavefront LIMS: We didn't need a bidirectional LIMS and we are a small lab. We didn't have the funds for a million dollar package from a name brand LIMS provider. We were so incredibly grateful to find Wavefront, recognize the quality of their product, and find ourselves able to afford their software.
