Pros: BluePrism comes to mind when we talk about security and adhering to IT governance.

Cons: It is lacking in the Robotic Process Automation market because they are not providing proper training material and certification for the young developers.

Overall: I worked on BluePrism digital workforce for one of my clients. Overall experience with BluePrism is average only. Its functionality is limited when compared with other Robotic Process Automation tools available in the market. The cost for a license is based on no of hours digital workforce you are using not license per machine which is a downside. Blue Prism has based on Microsoft .net framework. When it comes to security it is better than its competitor. It supports internal and external encryption. It uses a SQL server to store objects and processes. The management tool in Blue Prism allows you to configure users, scheduling, and monitoring processes, etc. Overall it is an average tool which does not offer much. If you are seriously looking to implement Robotic Process Automation in your organization then go with some other RPA tools available in the market.
