Our Complete plan does offer the Accrual option but it also includes a lot of other great features such as Smaller Time Intervals; Labels; Scheduled Reporting etc. It's also a plan that we will keep adding great automations to (hence the difference between the Core and the Complete plan). It is very user friendly and I was able to set up our account fairly quickly. Reviewing time off balances is easy and the integration with Google Workspace for calendar and apps makes it very easy to access. We are a small team so we pay for more users than we are using, but the cost is still worth removing the admin burden from our staff. I would definitley reccommend this software as it is so user friendly and easy to undertand and use. Pros Very user friendly and easy to use. I like having the oprion of usin different versions of what calender I perfer to use. Cons When you purchase the lower cost version you can't use the hourly add on unless you pay extra. The system has not had any bugs or issues. Cons I wish it integrated into our HRIS system (like JustWorks) because we have to track the PTO in two separate places. It makes payroll tracking a lot easier when we can easily click on each user. A few improvements in reporting and mobile functionality would make it even better, but it already does the core job very well. User's can see each other's leaves in their calendar and it makes things easier for our teams. Cons Not being able to view a users prorated total for the year. (Their actual amount instead of their total given for a normal year). Not being able to automatically block of calendar days (or the option) for full vacation days or holidays. We have locations in Europe and Canada and finally having a company-wide system for everyone has made things so much easier! Pros The implementation of Vacation Tracker was super easy. It is very versatile and various leave types can be customized at a fairly granular level. For the most part, simply using the Help Desk articles answered most questions I had - but the Support Team are amazing at responding and following up on any questions. Implementing Vacation Tracker was easy, at the app is very intuitive for new users. As we have integrated with Teams, sending and approving leave requests couldn't be easier! Cons It is not a "dislike" per se, but because Vacation Tracker makes it possible to customize leave types and policies, it can be a bit confusing. I should probably have taken advantage of the intro meeting that was offered. The reason we chose this product is because it integrates seamlessly with Microsoft 365 and helps our management team manage employee leaves straight from the software we use everyday. It is user-friendly, and the first and ONLY time I had an issue, the problem was resolved quickly. Their customer service team is great as well. They always followed up with me through the entire process until my issue was resolved. Thank you! Pros What I like the most about Vacation Tracker is the ability to see how much leave time (vacation, sick time, bereavement, etc) you have available and what has been used. Cons The only thing I don't like about the tool is only having 2 options for hours (8 hrs or 4 hrs). It would be great if we could select 2 hrs because sometimes, I don't need the entire 4 hrs. We used to do manually and track in excel and this allows staff to easily go in and request, update and cancel. Manager approvals are easy with the reporting function fantastic in providing a snapshot of where leaves are at at any given point in time. Pros Ease of use. Reporting features. Ability to customize what you are tracking and the segment of time you want (i.e. hourly, 1/2 day, full day). Ability for staff to enter comments on requests to allow for more timely approvals and denials. Cons Would like the ability to copy vacation requests over multiple days. Example, set 1/2 day vacation and 1/2 day work from abroad and need to input by day, rather than update over period of time (ie Monday - Friday 1/2 day AM for vacation and 1/2 day PM for work from abroad). Pros Vacation Tracker makes it easy for me to manage employees time off requests. The calendar view of all upcoming leaves helps us to forecast how we need to shift work to accommodate for employee time off. We have a unique offering of vacation days so we are happy that vacation tracker allows you to customize per user. Cons I entered a new employee into the system and chose to prorate their PTO, unfortuantely I did not mean to select that and when I tried to change it back I was unable to. Thankfully, \[sensitive content hidden\] at customer service was able to solve my issue in a timely manner with great customer service. I would definitely recommend Vacation Tracker to all teams out there, especially startups and small businesses looking for a simple tool without a bunch of unnecessary bells and whistles. Pros It’s really easy to use, it took our team a week to get used to it. We love the Slack integration and the notifications, they keep our whole team up to date on upcoming leaves. We also really like how you can organize your company into teams with their own notifications and calendar feeds since our team has multiple offices across the world. Cons The only thing we’d like to see added to Vacation Tracker is the ability to block our team from being able to request leaves on certain dates. We sometimes have critical deadlines and we don’t allow people to take time off right before the deadlines. It takes us some time to manage this manually so it would be neat to have a feature allowing us to do this automatically. We researched several solutions before stumbling across your product on a google search.
