### "Thankful to have eliminated our clunky spreadsheets! "

Pros

Vacation Tracker is simple to use, and whenever we had an issue, customer service was INCREDIBLE about addressing our issues quickly.

Cons

I wish the plans were more customizable. For example, our team needs the "Time Off in Lieu" feature for about half our staff (6 people). Unfortunately, we would have to upgrade all the way to Pro in order to get this feature. We'd be willing to pay a little bit more for just this one feature, but if we have to go all the way to pro, we can forgo the upgrade and work around this one issue.

Compatibility with google calendar is a massive plus.

\- VERY easy to use / user friendly - approval process takes out a middleman - customizable

\- wish I could have some people not need approval (the bosses) but still be able to put their time off in

We are saving so much time and employee confusion about time off! Our previous system (from our payroll provider) was inflexible and often wrong. Leave time is too valuable to employees to have any mistakes.

Pros

The ability to reset time off on individual anniversary dates vs. end of year. Also the ease of use for end users, combined with the accurate tracking of time off.

Cons

It would be nice if I could auto-generate a custom report with a certain timeframe, but the reporting function is easy enough to quickly run a report for payroll.

All in all, a good experience. We have locations in Europe and Canada and finally having a company-wide system for everyone has made things so much easier!

Pros

The implementation of Vacation Tracker was super easy. It is very versatile and various leave types can be customized at a fairly granular level. For the most part, simply using the Help Desk articles answered most questions I had - but the Support Team are amazing at responding and following up on any questions. Implementing Vacation Tracker was easy, at the app is very intuitive for new users. As we have integrated with Teams, sending and approving leave requests couldn't be easier!

Cons

It is not a "dislike" per se, but because Vacation Tracker makes it possible to customize leave types and policies, it can be a bit confusing. I should probably have taken advantage of the intro meeting that was offered.

That it can tie into MS/TEAMS CalendersSends permission for days to be approved

Cons

Does not allow for birthdays & anniversary datesDoes not send people notifications on how many days they have leftDoes not send notifications on day or days a person is out It puts "Paid time off South Carolina" on the MS Outlook calendar, which takes out too much room!

As for notifications, please keep in mind, we do offer daily and weekly notifications which Admins can turn on to send information that includes both who is away and during which dates! ### "Great time off management system built right into Slack"

Pros

We love using Vacation Tracker because it was super easy to deploy across our full team, and the best part is that it integrates right into Slack. This is a big deal since we all spend most of our day with Slack open, so not having to worry about another app or website is nice. We also love the ability to create custom types of time off, since our company has many different categories of time off that all have different allotments.

Cons

My only complaint would be that I wish the Vacation Tracker website was a little bit more robust. Sometimes I find it a little TOO simple. However, I think it's a double edged sword because I really do love the simplicity of its layout.

Pros

I found it very easy to set up Vacation Tracker for our remote team! Since we work from three different locations, this tool has been of great help. It allowed us to completely eliminate spreadsheets and automate our time off management. Highly recommend!

Cons

I have no complaints, the support team has been incredibly helpful whenever we had any questions.

### "Great time saver for small business! "

Overall this is a massive time saver! We used to do manually and track in excel and this allows staff to easily go in and request, update and cancel. Manager approvals are easy with the reporting function fantastic in providing a snapshot of where leaves are at at any given point in time.

Pros

Ease of use. Reporting features. Ability to customize what you are tracking and the segment of time you want (i.e. hourly, 1/2 day, full day). Ability for staff to enter comments on requests to allow for more timely approvals and denials.

Cons

Would like the ability to copy vacation requests over multiple days. Example, set 1/2 day vacation and 1/2 day work from abroad and need to input by day, rather than update over period of time (ie Monday - Friday 1/2 day AM for vacation and 1/2 day PM for work from abroad).

So far we have been very happy with the ease and functions of Vacation Tracker.

Pros

It's very easy to use. Both for the user and the administrator. I also really like the fact that emails can be sent to let everyone know who will be out for the week.

Cons

I would like to be able to customize hours for employees. Not everyone works an 8 hour day, so to be able to adjust for different hours would be great.

Great. It is super user friendly and fits our needs.

Pros

Vacation Tracker makes it easy for me to manage employees time off requests. The calendar view of all upcoming leaves helps us to forecast how we need to shift work to accommodate for employee time off. We have a unique offering of vacation days so we are happy that vacation tracker allows you to customize per user.

Cons

I entered a new employee into the system and chose to prorate their PTO, unfortuantely I did not mean to select that and when I tried to change it back I was unable to. Thankfully, \[sensitive content hidden\] at customer service was able to solve my issue in a timely manner with great customer service.

Even though I am relatively new user/admin, so far the experience has been a positive one and I believe it fits our organization's needs nicely!

Pros

I love that it integrates directly with Microsoft Teams and Outlook so that employees can see everything in one application.

Cons

It is a bit confusing to navigate as there are multiple ways in Teams to request leave, see your profile, cancel leaves, etc.

### "Vacation Tracker works for us"

It was easy to roll out

Pros

This software allows staff to submit their requests and be responsible for monitoring their vacation days; we do not need to send out monthly summaries of vacation balances.

Cons

Wish we could do a reset when a work schedule changes on our own instead of requesting a ticket. We set us with our email and wish we set it up with Teams.

I've been very happy with it and the wider team has had no issues adapting it. It offers great visibility and accountability for leave taken. They are always updating it and the support has been very responsive.

Pros

Vacation Tracker has excellent integration with Slack and Google Calendar, with most leave requests and approvals done through Slack. The support team is extremely responsive and has been able to quickly solve any questions or issues we had with the app. The app itself is very easy to navigate and mostly self-explanatory. The leave policies, locations and approval flow are quite customisable and extremely user friendly. The leave accrual functionality has been a fantastic addition, and allowances can be adjusted by individual.

Cons

Could us more flexibility in leave policies, for example ability to submit requests retroactively

Our overall experience with Vacation Tracker has been great. It’s easy to use and our entire team loves it. I would definitely recommend Vacation Tracker to all teams out there, especially startups and small businesses looking for a simple tool without a bunch of unnecessary bells and whistles.

Pros

It’s really easy to use, it took our team a week to get used to it. We love the Slack integration and the notifications, they keep our whole team up to date on upcoming leaves. We also really like how you can organize your company into teams with their own notifications and calendar feeds since our team has multiple offices across the world.

Cons

The only thing we’d like to see added to Vacation Tracker is the ability to block our team from being able to request leaves on certain dates. We sometimes have critical deadlines and we don’t allow people to take time off right before the deadlines. It takes us some time to manage this manually so it would be neat to have a feature allowing us to do this automatically.

### "Solve the leaves management!!"

We have been using it for one and a half months and it is been amazing so far, it really solved us the leaves management, people working remotely can use it without any problem and also the dashboard is easy to see. what was our main problem was after someone within the office took some vacations days did not know then how many days he/she has left (we were using Semesterlistan, a Swedish company)

Pros

What we really like about this software is its usability, user frinedly and is is integrated with Slack, our non-offical communication channel.

Cons

Might be good an app and also if we can count extra working days

I have only just began (Less than 2 months) but I like it. Easy and gives me what I need

Pros

Easy to set up and operate (even for the technologically challenged). The ability to categorise defferent locations with their own holidays and time zones. Importing holidays for the different locations. Diferent ways of outlooks (Calendar, summaries, individuals)

Cons

Would have liked it if I could set up the user before inviting them so they will not fall on the default location but the location I prepare for them in advance. Could have a cheaper starter for small companies (which we are).

Pros

This is the exact product we were looking for. We went from spreadsheets and manually entering PTO on a shared calendar to Vacation Tracker. Easy to set up, integrated with Google Calendar, and cost effective. Our staff can now see their PTO balance by logging in vs. requesting a balance from management.

Cons

Hard to find. We researched several solutions before stumbling across your product on a google search.

Vacation Tracker has a simple, clean interface and had all the features we were looking for. Other systems were bloated with features we didn't need.

Very Good. I have already recommended the product to others

Pros

I like the ease of implementation and it's the first tracker I have used that it's too robust for a small operation. We have some folks who are not tech savvy and they have been able to navigate the app with minimal instruction. It's intuitive and has a good user experience

Cons

That I can't turn off email notifications to managers. They would like to just login to check things out and not have their inboxes flooded.

Paylocity was too robust - we just wanted to track, not have any of it tied to payroll or benefits received. For each category we created of "time off", Paylocity required a three page document to be filled out. the Paylocity interface was also harder for our employees to intuitively understand.

This may be the first unprompted review I have ever left. I googled and found this solutions swiftly. It solved a very simple but complex global vacation and national leave challenge we had that has been crucial to our culture. Managed everything through the UX. Just generally a happy and impressed customer

Cons

It would have been mildly helpful if it could have imported more international vacation days by region, or even ranked them In terms of adoption

So far our experience with the product has been very positive. It was easy to set up and show the employees how to use. As an administrator of the system the “wall chart” view is very useful for a quick glance for the day or week.

Pros

The ease of setting it up and use by the employees was a critical piece. This product is very user friendly as well as easy for the administrator of the system to use and monitor.

Cons

Wish it had the ability to customize a little more than what is available currently.
