Good value for money PMS - Did the basic channel manager functions that we needed at the time(Combined inbox, channel sync.)

Cons

I don't like the name! When I used it it was called SmartBNB - I also don't know how it's developed with integrations with other OTA's.

The product itself is functional and does what it’s designed to do, but my overall experience was negatively impacted by how a billing issue was handled. A same-day payment problem caused by a card change was corrected within an hour, yet resulted in permanent loss of a legacy rate with no discretion or escalation offered. The ticket was closed during a holiday without resolution. While the software works, the lack of customer service flexibility and retention focus makes it difficult to recommend.

Pros

The automation tools help streamline guest communication and reduce repetitive manual tasks for managing vacation rentals. However, similar automation features are available on other platforms as well.

Cons

Customer service and billing flexibility. Hospitable has been extremely disappointing when it comes to customer service. Even after paying for their priority support plan, they don’t respond or provide any real help. Their regular agents are unhelpful and often give wrong information. For example, several agents told me it wasn’t possible to have a direct website for each property, but two weeks later, someone else confirmed that it actually is. On top of that, my owner statement got completely messed up, and I still haven’t received any clear answers. It’s unacceptable to charge for a service and then provide nothing in return. They definitely don’t deserve the high ratings they have on Capterra.

App is great on both iOS and android UI is intuitive for the most part Calendar sync works Other options to push information to OTAs also generally works

Cons

Absolutely nightmare of a customer service None of the agents know anything Things break constantly

The value for money compared to other competing products is what has made Hospitable worth it for our team.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind right now! We switched to a competing product (hoping to get a few additional features) for a few months earlier this year, and ultimately ended up switching back to Hospitable.

They've turned me into a very loyal customer. It is extremely reliable and makes operating our short term rentals so much easier than it would otherwise be. Price point is very fair.

Pros

Extremely intuitive for someone not technically savvy and functionality and reliability are top notch. It is great software both via the app and the website. Customer service is excellent and rarely needed.

Cons

I've had very few complaints and can't think of anything overarching to warn someone about. I guess part of its ease of use is that it focuses on the most needed functionality for someone operating a property, but doesn't necessarily give you all the bells and whistles that more expensive software might offer.

My overall experience with hospitable good. The only reason I changed to use a different PMS was because we are a growing property management company and needed more features to support that. I would recommend them to anyone self managing or someone that has a few properties.

Pros

Hospitable is extremely easy to learn. It only took me a few days to get the hang of it. Also the cost is only about $50 per month. So it was good value. They also have good phone support.

Cons

The biggest issue with using hospitable is that they don't have as many features and integrations as of the larger companies. But if you're only managing if you properties it's probably fine.

We switched to hospitable when we were having a terrible experience with our property management company. Hospitable immediately brought us less stress, made us feel confident in managing our rental ourselves, and has features that have allowed us to "up our game" in the short term rental industry. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Pros

It is super easy to use and incredibly reliable. It helps us craft personalized communication that we are getting great feedback from guests about.

Cons

There is currently no con I have experienced yet with working with hospitable. It is better than the property management company we previously used.

Pros

They have more features and the competition and they are still cheaper for small accounts. I think that sums up their pros.

Cons

Some of their features simply don't work, so you're not getting what you're paying for. Some are very core features like autoamted messages or auto-syncing with Airbnb. Their support team is very bad. Their user interface is hard to navigate, both on mobile and computer.

Hospitable has become an essential part of my property management business.

Pros

Hospitable does an excellent job of managing short-term rental listings, calendars, and communications across multiple platforms. The user interface is intuitive and easy to use. I love that their customer service is responsive, even for their lowest-tier subscribers.

Cons

I love everything about Hospitable! I have requested several new features related to mid-term rental management (30+ day stays) that are currently missing, such as the ability to collect security deposits. I've been with Hospitable less than a year and at least 2 of these features have already moved forward into their development plan. Zero other companies who I've ever made suggestions to have ever moved forward with an idea, so I am impressed!
