Definately prefer over similar products duebto ease of use and set up. Pros The ease of use was great and price in comparison to similar products. It was easy to set up courses that also allowed for drop in class registration. Cons When I imbeded the calebdar into my website sometimes it took a little while to load. I'd also like to see more seamless display of courses and class options for the same class be easy to identify. Flipping between tabs was not intuitive to my clients. It would also be great to download all payment reports annually instead of monthly, or at least a longer period with all the categories in one report. It's everything that a business needs and allows me to look more professional in an industry that is quickly becoming oversaturated. I can't recommend this app enough and the customer service I've received from day one has been nothing short of excellent. It's pushed my business to stand out from so many others while still allowing me time to spend with clients. I really didn't want an app that was too time consuming and would lead me to neglect my clients and take away that personal experience by constantly having to update or rework an app. Pros What I like most about this software is that it's easy to use. It's free for my clients to download, easy for them to book, pay and cancel all in one place. Easy for me to schedule classes ahead of time (months if needed). I have the option to turn on or off extra bolt on's, which is very handy and one that covers my business well. I can easily make a class an online class with zoom by tapping a button and it arranges links, ID's, passwords ect, making it easier on me and less time consuming. It also works very well with Stripe, the app that handles all of the payments. One of the best features I find that this app has is the option to refund a client with a class pass rather than actually removing money from my account, a win win in my opinion. Cons I suppose the only negative I have with the software is how many Zoom meetings I can make. Nothing really to do with Gymcatch as it's a Zoom problem but sometimes when making online classes it won't pre-set them as I'd have gone over my 100 class limit for that day meaning I've to wait until the following day and trying to figure out what classes didn't set itself up. Starting out as a small business its difficult to properly invest when you don't make enough money. Any other app I looked into was charging me £40+ a month but only allowing me to have a certain number of clients (50) before I'd have to upgrade. They also didn't allow me to personalise the app to fit my image for my business. With Gymcatch I can add all my own photos, my own descriptions, times whatever I wanted to make it mine for a fraction of the cost. From an end user perspective I've had feedback saying it's very user-friendly due to it's straight-forward, easy to navigate app. Cons I can't personally say that I have come across any cons, it's made my life a lot easier. If I've felt something wasn't quite right I've contacted support who have pretty much instantly either pointed me in the right direction or noted my query / issue. The integration with Zoom has been a saving grace, knowing participants have an email with the links rather than me having to send them out once a booking has been received is a weight off my mind. Having the ability to run off attendee reports, etc. for accounts purposes has been really helpful too as well as having all client information available at the touch of a screen. It's user-friendly, both from an admin and end-user perspective, and should you need them, the Support / Customer Services team are always friendly and helpful. I started using it for my lockdown yoga classes as I was trying to keep track of class attendance and payments manually and it was hurting my brain. It was so easy to set up and schedule classes and has made it incredibly easy for clients to book on to my classes, cancel, get refunds etc. And the customer service is second to none, I get responses to any questions I have so quickly!I couldn't recommend it highly enough. I am not technically minded and was anxious about switching to an on-line system but I was helped so much it turned out to be much simpler than I feared. Pros Gymcatch is hugely popular with all my clients and saves me hours of work each week. Paperwork is a thing of the past and the constant improvements keep making the product better. Ease of use and great support if you get stuck are also big pros for my business. Cons Not being able to book multiple places for the same client can be a problem but this only arises on occassionand I am sure it will be possible in the future. Easy for clients to use and has the features I need. Pros The integration of Zoom so clients can book everything in one place. Memberships and passes to offer. Easy for clients to use. Cons You have to sometimes go forwards and back to find what you are looking for. On demand I do not use and have to use a different way to get on demand videos to clients as this doesn't work for me on GymCatch as too complicated and not easy for clients to access. Sending YouTube links has been easier for me. It would be good if there was a portal or easy access area for clients who are on a specific membership or want to purchase on demand, to access recorded content. I would recommend it to anyone. Easy to sign up and use and easy to cancel if you need to. Great for start-ups. Check it has all the functionality you need. Pros Gymcatch is an easy system to implement and use. Great for small gyms, studios and PTs. Customers soon got used to using the system and app. Gymcatch is excellent value for money with a great support team. Instant answers and advice via the online chat system. Cons In terms of managing our class bookings and payment Gymcatch is absolutely brilliant. " March 8, 2021 5.0 Gymcatch is an efficient and affordable booking system which looks very professional. I have had very positive interactions with the directors and found that they are genuinely passionate about making their system work best for their clients and their businesses. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] are very responsive to feedback and are constantly working to make sure the system evolves to meet our needs (such as adding Zoom links when many of us had to move our businesses online). Pros As an administrator, I like the fact that users have the choice of logging in via the app or the website, as some of my clients don’t use smartphones. I love that the same software can enable me to offer packages of classes to be used within a time limit as well as courses that run weekly for a certain length of time. This gives me the flexibility I need for my business model. Cons Initially I didn’t like that there was no Courses feature for block bookings, but this has now been added and works very well for me and my clients. Reason for choosing Gymcatch I found it more user-friendly for both me and my clients, and more affordable for the features I needed. It really is a inexpensive booking system that integrates well. The app is good too and my clients find it easy to to use as well. Cons The app is missing 1 feature that irritates me and that is the ability to add clients from my followers and deduct from their passes and the opposite. Cancel clients off and remind their passes. The support is excellent and software is easy to use. Pros Allows customer to handle their own bookings, and removes admin for me. Cons I dont think clients can just add their own details in, unless you have Par-Qs intergrated. I would like their phone number to be listed in their contact details, not just their email address. I feel this actually lets it down quite a lot. Reason for choosing Gymcatch Price. Im independent and only running a couple of classes. Just as a note, you can use the Participation Information feature to collect just contact details if you wish, so can collect not just email address but phone number, emergency contact details, DOB and more! It has reduced my time spent on administration by hours. My students have taken to it very easily. Knowing how many people are attending the class in advance. Monies being paid directly via Stripe into my account. Very good support from the Gym catch team Pros The ability to manage my classes and know how many people are booked on each session. Managing class sizes - post Covid. PARQ forms - Waiver forms - Completed information at the touch of a button Cons The ability for a student to book multiple classes at once. I love it! Pros It has all the features I need to run my business - group classes in different venues and online and 1:1 appointments - all from one app. I like the customer service, I like that it is British and I love that compared to other similar products it has a great price with optional bolt ons. I love that I have everything at my fingertips on my mobile, class registers, client management, the schedule. It is a really nifty and helpful tool for any fitness business small or large. Cons The only slight issue I have is with older clients not getting on with the app - but then these people wouldn't get on with any app. Would prefer that more options were included in the basic price but it is still good value. Payment setup is super easy. Website integration is good. Discounts and discount control. Auto refunds. Honestly, everything is great! Cons Running custom reports, Attendance tracking, customizing the packages to include custom color graphics, cant track using 3rd party analytics, can't control who is not allowed to purchase passes, cant create a free class for new members... Zumba instructor Health, Wellness and Fitness Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Zumba Class Bookings" September 28, 2021 5.0 Gymcatch has improved attendance at my classes, it has created an excitement to get booked before the class gets full, and it has saved me valuable time before each class having to take participants' money and record their attendance. Pros I love that users can book themselves into my fitness classes and pre-pay online as it has improved commitment to attend. I like that they can book for more than one person easily, and it's really easy for me to cancel bookings and/or add participants myself to transfer them to a different session. I'm delighted to read we've helped with improved commitment and multibook too. Thank you too for the Facebook page. Happy to pick up directly if helps too... Unfortunately Facebook recently amended the button text options for where you can link to an external site (removing the BOOK NOW option). We certainly would prefer if they hadn't too. For specific reasons I can relay directly we won't be pursuing their direct integration that would enable an in Facebook book but hope the SIGN UP or CONTACT US options work well as an alternative.
