Very easy to use and I have a lot of older clients which is a big plus. Its also very appealing to look at

Good overall experience Easy to use and understand how to set schedules and packages Good help manuals to get you used to using the system

Pros

It's easy to work with find ways to learn about different features and it's not very expensive even when you purchase all features

Cons

Some of the restrictions around the programming like if you have two sites separating the schedule rather than buying two subscriptions How members on memberships can't allocate their next months classes to the membership until the 1st of the Month passes

### "Very happy with Gymcatch"

Very happy with Gymcatch. It does everything I want it to do. Book clients in for classes and you can use a form to ask parq questions and consent before the class.

Pros

It’s a very easy system to use. My clients like using it as well and say it’s easy to book onto classes and log on to see what they have booked.

Cons

It is a little expensive considering I only use it for 1 class a week and if you add on lots of extras it makes it even more.

### "The User-Friendly Booking System That Just Works!"

I really enjoyed using Gymcatch for almost 18 months and would happily use it again, if the need arose.

Pros

Ease of set up and the ability to chat with support, when stuck and needing some guidance. \[sensitive content hidden\] and Team were on hand within minutes and were extremely helpful

Cons

Some of the terminology used can be tricky for customers to get their head around, such as "Courses" .

Gymcatch is a great platform that is easy to use for both instructors and clients alike. The app is helpful to point customers to be able to book in for sessions and once their profile is set up, they can book in with ease. The different bolt on features are brilliant to use as and when your business requires and it’s so good you can swap them as you need. The auto-credits/cancellation feature has saved me countless hours of admin! If ever you have a query or issue, the Gymcatch team are always on hand to help resolve.

### "Intuitive scheduling software that my and my clients love"

It has streamlined by business and increased bookings

Pros

I like that the scheduling page showcases my offerings in a clear and intuitive way for clients all in 1 place; I feel this has increased bookings from when I used to use Acuity that listed them in sub sections

Cons

I would like to be able to have email automation, such as a reminder and follow up email auto sent. It would be beneficial if I have a 2-way link with Google to aid scheduling.

### "Gymcatch, my assistant"

Gymcatch has helped my buissiness a lot! My pilates studio is basically a "one woman show" but with gymcatch I feel like I have an assistant.

Pros

It is simple, for both clients and admin, but also offerrs a lot of possibilities and variations in designing it for everything my buissines needs.

Cons

Sometimes it is slow as if there is a bug but there is none. That can be a bit confusing, still everything works. And it woul be better if messages could be larger an possibility of pasting a link would be great.

Thebl flexibility of the platform, wide range of add-ons, very reasonably priced and user friendly.

Excellent, the support team are brilliant.

Pros

Saves me a massive amount of work, no more hanging around after class waiting for payments, no more tracking sessions and I get paid if people decide to not show up or cancel last minute. It also makes me look much more professional, no tooing and frooing with messages either.

Cons

I am really just learning with technology and sometimes struggled with some aspects but that was more down to me than the app.

### "New user of GC and a total technophobe user at that!"

I am totally blown away by the amount of support GC have given me with setting all this up. I am totally untechnical and it was very daunting for me (64 this year, brain cells slowing and not technical even when younger...). The level of support, patience and understanding from the GC team along with the effective outcomes has been amazing. Once you know what you are doing, it is so straightforward and I am flying with it all now. I honestly cannot believe how easy it all is so if you are worried about taking the leap, just do it coz if I can do it, anyone can. So many videos and posts showing you how to do it too. I hope the GC team are proud of their high level of support to their customers - really superb all-round. I am a very happy customer, thank you x

Pros

The online scheduling is so effective and has proven really popular with my customers. I LOVE this!

Cons

When I update a session, would be great if customers could be texted from you instead of emailed. Whilst the notification to the customers is really helpful and saves me so much time, not everyone checks their email daily and if a last minute or same day change, a text would be heaps better.

This software has allowed me to seamlessly run my business from scheduling to accounting. It has given me so much of my time back, I don't need to spend hours on admin anymore because of this. It is very user friendly and it did not take my customers long to get the hang of it. The best part has to be the customer support. If anything ever goes wrong or one of my customers needs assistance beyond my control, the support team are absolutely amazing. I never have to panic as they respond instantly via a live webchat and no issue ever goes unresolved. They are so well trained and knowledgable about all ends of the software. It is so refreshing to ask for help and actually receive exactly what you need. 10/10 would recommend. The return for what you pay for is next to none!!

It has everything I need. Sometimes I am limited with features however, I feel that the limits are very niche to my industry. I don't think most businesses would need the things that I would.

### "Gymcatch helps get navigate Covid era and beyond!"

Overall, Gymcatch has provided a more affordable option for our small nonprofit business to streamline sign-up, payment and package purchasing which became necessary during Covid. I would never go back! There are so many other features such as scheduling. calendar etc...that helps us to communicate with our clients. I love it!

Pros

This software is fairly easy to navigate and there is online chat help and Q/A to quickly assist with getting things set up. It allows my participants to take control of their punch cards and memberships without having to rely on me to manage it for them with paper or other means.

Cons

I feel like the web interface is not real pretty and the font is so small. I would love for this to be my main web page but it is not impressive in how it looks/reads. The mobile version looks way better. I did have some clients that struggled getting used to it (they would accidentally pay for class with a credit card instead of their purchased package because it wasn't clear to them how to navigate to it or they weren't signing in.

Price. It did what we needed it to do and it gave us a long enough free trial time to figure it all out and get it set up before we had to start paying.

### "Online Booking System for Fitness Classes"

I love Gymcatch! I love the ease for customers to book fitness classes in advance. I can offer my customers different pricing packages too which Gymcatch help you to set up....like discount, membership & auto refund options.

Pros

Some customers have found using Gymcatch easier than what they have expected. Some of my customers do not like technology very much so I just say to them its like 'shopping online' for a holiday! It worked for me.

Cons

I would have liked the payment processing system all in with Gymcatch and not have a separate software called Stripe.....although it does work well together......

### "Tried this software for a couple of years"

This software did not suit my business. Customers sighed a sigh of relief when I ditched it.

Pros

It was cheap. The support initially was useful. It allowed class swaps which at the time my existing software didn’t.

Cons

I swapped to different software after a few years as I got complaints on a weekly basis about gymcatch. I spent time with the team at gymcatch going through my account to see if there was a way to simplify, or if I’d made a mistake setting things up, but Gymcatch said I had everything set up the way it should be. It caused me constant weekly problems and was a time suck, and I realised I was losing new trade; new customers gave up trying to book with Gymcatch. In general, my customers disliked Gymcatch and moving software has been a great decision for the business. Within 3 months of leaving Gymcatch and moving to TeamUp, all the spaces in my classes are now filled, so taking the risk of a more expensive software has paid for itself several times over already. Unless you have a very small and simple business, I would suggest steering clear of Gymcatch. I think trying to save money with cheap software cost me money in the long term.

Reason for choosing Gymcatch

Because it would allow class swaps. (At the time, bookwhen didn’t have swap facility. They do now. In general, I would recommend Bookwhen over Gymcatch for customer ease of use).

I have found using Gym-catch to be easy and great support with video tutorials It is now allowing me to grow my business in different avenues I am delighted I found Gym-catch

Pros

Gym-catch is helping me find new revenue streams clients are booking in advance and I am now able to sell my online videos through the app which has given me a bigger market

Cons

Clients don,t get Text reminders of sessions or if they are on a wait list I think this would be a good feature to add on

I don’t think I could work without gymcatch now ! My business is small but it has taken the worry out of wether people will attend or not . The more classes I do the more necessary gymcatch is .

Pros

It’s easy for everyone to use . I have had very few issues and any queries I’ve had have been answered immediately and I am old and not great with software !!😂

Cons

Slight niggle …. I have to log on through business portal every time ! Unless I’ve got that wrong ???

### "I can't tell you the relief!"

Flipping brilliant so far. So helpful. Patient. Kind. Customer focussed. Clear. The fact they are UK based and we're in the same timezone really has helped too. I used a different soft ware for the last year and it's been awful.

Pros

I'm so excited I've found something that is so easy to use. I'm not techy and have been able to work out in one day how to upload classes, pictures, get customers onto the system and start making money - even in my trial period. I love the info I can see about my customers bookings and the scheduling of classes. And it links easily with zoom too! I know how to cancel things and edit a customer package... and it's fairly intuitive. Just dig around and look. You soon find the thing you need.

Cons

Working out whether I need a class pass, a bundle or a membership is still a bit foggy for me. There are videos explaining which does what - but thinking it through in terms of what MY actual business needed was harder. Luckily the help / chat team were patient when I asked lots of questions. It's linking your strategic structure to the pass / bundle / membership that feels a bit complicated. So I started simple with a 5 class bundle then I'm going to expand from there. There are videos - but it's not as good as chatting to someone about what you want your business to achieve and which is the best model. A half hour help chat / webinar on this would be useful sometime!

Hugely expensive. Highly frustrating and complicated. And they told me it could deliver things last October that were still in development. I've wasted £000's. Not happy at all. And the stress!!!!! I wanted to grow in the pandemic and I've shrunk, and with no support from the government it was a huge deal for me to invest. Felt very let down. Now I'm ready to grow again as these guys seem on it!

Great, when I have had a problem, the response has been excellent. Very helpful and keen to make things work for us. Also listened to suggestions to improve the service.

Pros

The phone app is excellent and there are now lots of add on features that have helped me take and manage online bookings from anywhere. There are videos explaining how to do things. The team listen to suggestions… example courses and drop ins. The emails are great so everyone knows what is happening.

Cons

A few things, some times clients click twice and end up booking in twice and do not mean to. There are lots of options and I feel there is lots to go wrong if you don’t fully understand the set up. I am still learning. The “How to “ videos are excellent. Sometimes there are lots of clicks to get to where I need, all takes time. Generally the product is excellent though.

Reason for choosing Gymcatch

I had booked a yoga session elsewhere using GymCatch and I thought how straight forward it was and easy to use. The cost is a big factor and I liked the fact that you can choose to add different functions that you need and there is scope there.

Really good - price wise its value for money

Pros

I love the fact that it is app based for customers. I moved away from this software years ago when I ran a small gym - now that I have returned there are even more features - allows freedom to tailor to your business and customers.

Cons

Having to use desktop site as admin to do more of the back office features.

### "Overall great product that ticks boxes"

This has been hugely labour saving for me and although it's taken some time to consider how to adapt my payment model to fit with the options available in GymCatch, it's really been transformational (and I've tried at least 3 other products and reviewed several more in great detail!!)

Pros

Very easy to set up, the interface is nice and clean and the support has been fantastic - quick, honest and helpful

Cons

It would be nice if there was an easier way to test things from a user perspective when setting up from scratch. You can of course create a test account but then you have to pay out for test classes/appointments. I'd also really like it if users could just scroll down a chronological list of appointments/classes if they wanted, rather than always having to choose a specific date from the calendar - just as an option.

I wouldn't be without it now. I set up my Gymcatch business account during the Pandemic and it met my needs perfectly. Despite now being back to "normality" I wouldn't revert back to cash payments and paperwork. The features it provides make my life much easier

Pros

Easy to use system which is perfect for my class needs. Booking is simple, managing class size and detail is straightforward and applications for communicating with customers are easy to use

Cons

Some of the essential features are additional bolt ons. It would be nice if these were included, but I understand why they're not. From an admin point of view I find it easier to use from the website on my laptop rather than through the app on my phone. The reverse is true from a user-participant perspective.

I compared about five but they were all pretty similar so I just chose one!
