Instructor Health, Wellness and Fitness Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Fantastic customer service " March 3, 2021 5.0 Due to the pandemic we have been unable to have in person classes and so didn't need to have a booking system. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] has been fantastic, we never had to cancel, he has arranged free months for us to cover this period, no quibbling or asking for a percentage of the costs. Prompt reply to emails. Just superb customer service. Pros My clientele are 50-80year olds. I was able to get 99% to use Gymcatch to book classes and those that couldn't didn't have the correct technology ( old phones, no computer etc). They all remarked how easy y it was to register and use. From my point of view it was easy to set up and very easy to manage bookings. Cons Can't think of anything that I don't like. We don't use other systems that need integrated etc so all good. Reason for choosing Gymcatch Did check a few out but can't remember which ones. Gymcatch offered a free introductory period which we used to get our participants up to speed with the system. Price is competitive and other instructors had recommended. Pros I used Gymcatch when opening up my business and haven’t looked back ! It enables me to modify my classes on the go and also easily prepare group messages. The software alerts me of any changes to my class for example when someone books on which is helpful for keeping track. Mindbody tried to evolve but did not meet our needs. Karmasoft has Zoom integration but is buggy and a debacle for us and our customers. GymCatch appealed to me at first because of its simplicity. GymCatch’s customer-centric paradigm was so different from MindBody, it was difficult to get used to. After a short time, this customer-centric paradigm made sense and was a perfect match for my transformed business. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] has been terrific at providing support. Pros I like how easy it is to schedule classes and receives bookings for my classes. Cons Sometimes there's problems with links synching, so if you had a new student this might cause problems. Reason for choosing Gymcatch It was the introductory offer that allowed me time to get used to the system and see if it worked for me. Also the payment gateway with Stripe is very good and easy to set up. Clubbercise Instructor Sports Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "When Covid-19 hit, GymCatch was there to allow me to adapt" April 2, 2021 4.0 I am able to take contactless payments easily and I am able to see how many participants I will be expecting to each class. I am now able to have a cancellation period, whereas people used to pay on the door so I had no back up in the case of people not turning up. With Covid-19, it has allowed me to stay Covid Secure Pros I like that it is handy for me to set up classes, take payments and check who has booked on. You can integrate your Par-Q, allowing your participants to fill this out, which you can then download the answers to a spreadsheet, allowing for easy access to information. Cons It does take some getting used to when finding out different parts. I found I had to play around and set up a consumer account as well as my portal account so that I could work out what different parts meant (for example bundles and passes), sign myself onto my classes to see how things worked. I switched to GymCatch because my doors were barely open and the budget was practically non-existent. I’ve been with them 6 months now, and I probably won’t change unless I develop my own app. Which is not even a consideration right now. Pros It’s simple to use, both as the the back of house and as a client. New features constantly added give me more value for way less than most other similar software options. Incredible value for the cost! Cons Little glitches here and there, but nothing that would ruin your day. Pros The product was easy to integrate with my Pilates business website, the steps on how to do so we very straight-forward. Being able to see who was booked in to class, get clients to complete health forms before booking and take payments integrated with stripe made this app a great admin tool. Being able to add or remove refunds and give discount codes to clients is also a great useful feature. Cons None..... ..................... At the beginning when I started zoom classes I was sending emails to my client, checking they had paid and then sending a zoom link. It took ages. After a few weeks I though I need to find something to help me and I found Gym Catch. Once my Business was set up on the system it more or less ran itself. Definitely worth the money. Pros It made my little business look professional by having an online booking system. Cons The App wasn't as good for the administration side. I have found I spend less time on admin because everything is recorded on gymcatch and my customers can manage their payments and bookings themselves without having to ask me. I have found my classes are now busier particularly because new people have found me online and are able to book for my classes directly on my website via gymcatch. I defiantly recommend it for anyone running a fitness business its easy to use, great value for money and the support when I have any questions has been so responsive. Pros I love how it is easy for me to create, edit and manage my listings and bookings on my phone as I go on my phone and laptop. It takes the hassle away from me of having to deal with money at the end of teaching a class or of having to keep track of customers attendances and class pass expiry dates manually. Pros The guys are Gymcatch are very responsive and helpful, if you've got a question or an issue they respond to you immediately. I'm not that tech savvy and they've "held my hand" in getting me up and running and well versed with their system. Very easy to work with. UK based, so no need for transatlantic waiting times for their customer support. Super value for money especially for Self Employed people. Cons There's a few functionalities that could be added such as sending reminder notifications to the customers when their class passes are about to expire or when they have 1 class left, but the Gymcatch team are very responsive to feedback and they have said it will be a feature they will be adding in the near future. Reason for choosing Gymcatch Because Gymcatch were based in the UK so receiving support was more efficient and it was easier for me to figure out how much I was going to spend each month to have this service. My clients like how easy it is to book a class regardless of the time they do it. They have all the information they need regarding venue & time. For me it’s easy to access the information I need wherever I am. The bookings take care of themselves. Everyone pays via Stripe & the money arrives in my bank. If I have any queries they are easy to contact & very quick to respond. It’s a new venture for me & I was recommended this system. Although I am still on the free trial period I already know that I will carry on using Gymcatch & would not hesitate to recommend Cons It took me quite a while to set up but I used the YouTube tutorial which helped enormously & I was also able to have a telephone appointment to iron out the bits I didn’t understand so my experience really was very good. Pros I need something to make booking for classes and taking payments, while being simple and easy to use. I already had a stripe and zoom account ready to go and was able to set my whole business to be up and ready to go almost instantly! Cons I think just some notifications not really working, I don't know when people are purchasing my packages. Would be nice to receive a notification so I don't have to follow it up to see if the customer put through the purchase or not. We now have more people attending our classes and less time having to tell clients what classes we offer as it is all there in front of them. Pros Since using the Gymcatch app, our classes have doubled in size. The app makes it easy for our customers to see the classes we have on offer at our gym and also allows us to cap classes and know how many people to expect at class. We will definitely be continuing to use the app after the free trial. Cons Not being able to delete a class. I had doubled up a class by mistake and wanted to delete it but found that quite hard to do.
