I wish it were a little easier to search out what I want to know in the knowledge database or have some kind of index that gives me a written overview (not everyone likes videos) about the functionality that is possible. Pros I like the single location for my accounting, client management, and everything else I use everyday. Cons The administrative support (paralegal) should be cheaper. Easy transition. Great customer service! Cosmolex offers links to your bank, documents, emails, calendar and offers a client portal where you can determine what the client sees. Cosmolex consolidates multiple office functions into one easy-to-access portal where attorneys, clerks, and staff can find what they are looking for without having to dig through a mine-field of paperwork. Cons So far, I haven't found anything "extra" is needed! Any questions I had regarding processes were answered by a competent and friendly customer service rep - in a manner which made it easy for me to understand and implement. You name it! It virtually will help you to do everything. Cons Its UX is a little complicated since it has so many features and possibilities. Easy Time Bill has streamlined my billing procedures and forces one to become "Organized" in the Business of Law. By using this product, I have been able to improve my billable hours that might have otherwise been lost in rush of the day. As far as the TRUST accounting aspect, what can I say" It is simply a lifesaver!!! In the event of a dreaded AUDIT, the information I would need is a click away. ETB, like all of the Easy Soft products, is extremely user friendly. Also, the customer support is without competition. They are always extremely pleasant and BEND OVER BACKWARDS to help you reslove any issues that arise. I should know, I've called customer support so many times that I am on a first-name basis with many of the people there. Cons None! None! Review Source MT Mark T. So far, it's be terrific. The LawPay service portal has worked very well. I like the having the knowledge base articles and videos available. Cons I'm still learning as I go. I'm using the billing and accounting functions. I need to explore the matter documents, calendaring and task management. I'd also like to work on the templates when I get more accustomed to them. August 1, 2016 4.0 Really like the IOLTA accounting aspect. I initially thought I would simply use the cloud version for IOLTA management, but I now would like to have all members of the firm (assistants and attorneys) use it so we aren't dealing with several different programs for billing, calendaring etc. My concern was that there seemed to be certain "bugs" or features missing. I dealt with Chantel Gordon on phone and was very impressed with the help she provided. She's a good communicator. She naturally repeated my concerns back to me which showed she listened to what I said and understood it. Whether my suggestions can be implemented is another issue, but that's not my point. Chantel is good. Thanks. Pros I like all practice tools in one place. I like being able to access these tools no matter where I am. Pros Once you get used to the format, it is really quick and easy to use. The training videos and quick to get help desk are fantastic (the help desk has talked me down out of the tree many times in the early days!). Also my husband likes to do his time sheets at the end of the month and your program's ability to track billable tasks and calendar events to show that they haven't been billed was a great selling point. I also liked the idea that we might not have to go with QuickBooks for the business accounting. "Rocky" Anderson was starting up his own business under the umbrella of Lewis Hansen law firm and we needed a program to help with client billing, bookkeeping and many other additional items. For one, the ease of having all of our needs met and compiled in one program; and two, the multiple options CosmoLex gives you regarding client matters, invoices, accounting, reports and how easy it is to update and/or change your information as needed; whether it be clients, invoice formats or banking information. The cost is very reasonable as well. One more thing, I loved the way Jon continually checked in with me during our free trial to see how things were going and if we needed any assistance. (And he just checked in with me again even though my 30 day trial was over.) That to me is worth a million having someone there that cares enough to make sure their customer is happy and that they have everything they need to get going. Review Source JF Jennifer F. Pros The interface is easy to use and navigate - everything is where you expect it to be. I also like how customizable it is. Cons The email integration could use work. It would be nice if there was a way to tag non-client emails so that they didn't show up in my list as untagged. Not every email I receive is related to a specific matter (for example, updates emails from Cosmolex!) It would also be useful if there was a function to tag multiple emails at the same time. October 26, 2017 5.0 Pros The easy to use interface is really well designed, other products were too clumsy and not as user friendly Cons There are some tweaks I have already suggested, like insuring the trust act reconciliation meets ICCRC , another would be an ability to track prospects and have a better client profile page to enter more data such as key dates. We loved that there was a huge database of information online, as well as the option to ALWAYS speak with a representative, any time of any day. With our prior billing software, it was expensive and inconvenient to try to reach anyone on the support staff.
