Director of Sales Systems Building Materials Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Why I like E2Excel " July 11, 2019 5.0 I was introduced to the product from a consultant who offered to install it for our org for a fee. the idea sounded simple and then it was installed. I installed it on a few objects at first - and then added a few more myself. The ease of use of this ability to just export views to excel - was something my users didnt know they wanted or needed until I showed them this function. now they cant live without it. Pros Once its up and running - E2excel provides simple native function to export views to excel. This feature sadly to say should be native to SalesForce but its not. e2excel makes it appear as simple as a native feature. Cons Its not quite as easy to install as some other packages. there is small amount of copy/paste configurations but not enough trouble to say don't do it. I would just suggest that the people who wrote this should look at making the install more hands off. Review Source VH Vicki H. Pros Ease of implementation User adoption Worked both on Firefox and Chrome browser Cons We initially had issue with Firefox browser. The customer service helped resolve the issue with new patch. Pros its simplicity, click the button and it exports the list Cons when I click on the button to export the remaining Salesforce page goes blank and I need to refresh to see it again. It looks like it is broken, but it isn't, once I refresh the page in Salesforce it comes back again Review Source LY Leon Y. Easy to set up, and we're able to export into Excel whenever we like. Cons I think the excel version is old, so whenver or with a weird extension, so whenever i open the exported excel file, it says the file format or extension doesn't match. I have to hit "Yes" on open it anyways, and it works just fine. Review Source AV April V.
