It’s been an absolute pleasure integrating this platform into our operations at Reep Fire. Uptick has proven to be the ideal solution for our field management needs. The platform is not only robust and reliable, but it also aligns perfectly with the fast-paced demands of our industry. It’s helped us streamline workflows, increase accountability, and significantly reduce manual overhead. As a result, our technicians can cover more ground in less time, all while delivering a higher standard of service to our clients. Pros

What I liked most about Uptick is how intuitive and user-friendly the platform is. It offers a wide range of powerful features that help reduce administrative overhead and significantly improve overall productivity. One of the biggest advantages is the ability to generate quotes quickly and accurately, while also maintaining complete visibility and tracking of field operations in real time. The integration between the office and field teams is seamless, which helps eliminate miscommunication and delays. Inspection reports, in particular, are incredibly efficient to complete—what used to take double the time can now be done in half, allowing our team to focus more on quality service rather than paperwork. Uptick has become an essential tool in streamlining our workflow and keeping everything organized and accountable.

Cons

Honestly, it’s hard to find anything to dislike about Uptick. Nearly every concern or suggestion we’ve brought to the Uptick team has either been thoughtfully addressed and improved for the benefit of all users or clearly explained when it turned out to be a misunderstanding on our part. Their responsiveness and commitment to continuous improvement truly set them apart.

The support is absolutely fantastic, as is the product itself. It is constantly evolving with improvements.

Pros

Its so smooth to use and links everything together seamlessly. They are also updating the options and products within the software.

Cons

Service quoting needs improvement, and i would suggest adding more artwork as all the quotes do look quite plain.

Pros

I love the flexibility and the support staff. It makes my life running a shop easy. If ever there is a single issue, updates are swift and effective.

Cons

I have no complaints about Uptick. If ever a complaint comes up, the Uptick team is quick to make effective updates with follow up to verify the issue has been resolved.

It has been a great time learning the application and seeing our job become easier with the Uptick platform.

Pros

Incredibly user friendly with great features to make our admin's and tech's lives easier! I am so happy to see my team thrive with this software and we only continue to grow with it.

Cons

It takes some getting used to at first because there is so much that goes into the platform. Techs have a hard time getting used to it but end up loving it once they learn how it works.

Excellent! The guys and girls at UpTick are very approachable and willing to help and will always go the extra mile to make your experience a good one!

Pros

The ability to adapt the system to suit in most scenarios.

Cons

Work is required on the extinguisher servicing element so as the system work flow is better at understanding the 5 year and 10 year testing/replacement for fire extinguishers.

The initial learning curve, but that would be the same for any package as it was our first time using management software.

Very good, responsive aftercare, customer focussed and a highly quality underlying product. We deployed and embedded an E2E CRM within 6 wks with the support of the team - an outstanding achievement

Pros

Accessibility of the data, robust workflows, super intuitive interface and configurability which means we can easily add required data field and tags so we can perfectly organise jobs. Unlocking super rich reporting and operational control

Cons

Strange set up of several reports e..g engineer invoicing and sales conversion stat - they are anchored to the month the quote is raised in. So if a quote is raised last wk of April, approved in May it doesn't feature as a won job in May... this is a much bigger problem for engineers when reviewing their perf - whether a job is created a month before completed is irrelevant, its a shame as renders what could be a great set of reports useless

Very good and although we are still adapting to the system we are finding that it is working for us.

Pros

Clarity and transparency for our clients. It’s ease of use for scheduling of works. We also find that the support from Aoife was really good.

Cons

We feel we have capacity to use more of the platform but we need a bit more support to get the most out of the system, so some additional training and some gap analysis to enhance the efficiencies. I also think the system would benefit from having a logbook portal (including a QR code to be put on the main control panel/equipment) which can be accessible in a read only, this could also include layout drawings and key information for the local fire services on arrival.

### "Worth the investment "

Uptick has been a godsend for us since starting using it around 2 years ago. It has streamlined how we work and helped increase our turnover year on year.

Pros

How quick it is to invoice the performed jobs, takes seconds to raise an invoice. It’s easy to search the history for past jobs / maintenances. I like how when you click on a property all the information is together like when routines are due, all the tasks past and current and all the invoices and correspondence is there to see

Cons

We haven’t found anything yet that we don’t like

The costing is expensive, but as they say “you get what you pay for” Would still recommend!

Very happy with the Uptick system and clients feedback is that their portal is easy to use.

Pros

System is very adaptable to our needs, easy to use and have a great support team to help for the trick requests. Uptick team provided us with ongoing support on molding the system to what we require and our clients' requirements.

Cons

We moved from the Fire mate platform to the Uptick platform and had a few data merging issues, which have now been resolved. The platform change was challenging, plus keeping a fire company running and doing the merge.

The whole software does more than we ever imagined we would use it for but has massively improved processes in our business.

Pros

User friendly and intuitive, huge range of features, constantly being improved and upgraded to introduce new initiatives or improvements, great customer service, very rarely any issues with the system.

Cons

Difficult to think of anything! Generally any issues are dealt with quickly so nothing to dislike.

Our experience with Uptick has been great. The team consistently strive to assist as much as possible when presented with issues or new ideas, especially when given personal assistance by their team. Our dealings with Chelcie at Uptick have been nothing short of amazing. She's been a great asset for our team and has dramatically assisted us with utilisation of Uptick to its fullest potential.

Pros

Customer service is exceptional and the team are very solution-focused. We love the fact that Uptick reports and quotes contain photos - these are easy for clients to associate failures to. Uptick also contains many different parameters that allow specific searching and filtering for jobs, quotes and invoices.

Cons

At times it would be buggy, but often resolved quickly.

### "Red Box Fire Control"

From our very first meeting with \[sensitive content hidden\] everything has been very positive, we have had a really good experience with the onboard team, \[sensitive content hidden\]have been incredibly patient, supportive and worked extremely hard to get us onboard. We had quite a struggle extracting data from our old system, but the team worked hard behind the scenes to get this achieved. I was extremely impressed with the team for their determination to get us through this tough phase, they certainly kept my spirits up. Since we have been live we have had continued support and find the Help feature very useful on the system, I have used it several times whilst we get ourselves settled into the new system.

Pros

Ease of use, everything is very streamlined and uncomplicated compared to our previous software, we are still fairly new to Uptick but can see the benefits to our Company already! We like the process of a Service Quote, becoming a Task once approved and the Technician receiving all the information via the App. I also like the fact that everything is online, no more paperwork.

Cons

Not come across anything yet, apart from the email templates - need to understand how they work a bit better.

Amazing staff and applications really great Customer service would recommend to anyone company's wishing to be the best.

Pros

I really like the use and functionabilty of the app and integration this gives me on a day to day basis this helps get all my tasks and jobs completed for the day ahead a massive job before but not now I use uptick.

Cons

The layout for app based mobiles could do with making more fluid and user friendly only a very small criticism.

We weren’t a partially easy client to onboard the process took several months of decision and demo after demo. The team have always fulfilled our expectations, answered everything with honesty and been clear with answers.

Pros

Uptick has provided us with a significant opportunity for growth by enabling us to streamline and manage fundamental processes that are essential to our business that typically consume a considerable amount of time. With Uptick’s powerful operating system handling these tasks, we have been able to focus on growth strategies, refine our processes, and enhance the final product we deliver to our clients. Additionally, the ability to customise each aspect of our end product has allowed us to distinguish ourselves from our competitors.

Cons

This is a difficult question for us to answer, all things in the past that I disliked have been tweaked or refined and are on the roadmap for improvement. If I were to pick something I like the least it’s not being able to answer this question 😂

Great people, great software and the best early investment I made in Alliance Fire Group

Pros

I love the one stop shop and the ability to run the whole business through one software. The adaptability is amazing, this allowing us to evolve as a business and manage the software alterations mainly in house. The client portal has been a hug bonus for our clients.

Cons

I am still learning and think i always will be.... Nothing really negative.
