"Easy of use and fast development"
Overall: Reduced the total time and costs of running some processes inside the organization Made agile the maintenance and continuous redefining of processes and platforms inside the company
Pros: As a user of products/templates developed using Omnia platform, I point out the the ease of interaction and the low learning curve for the everyday user. The entire experience is very dynamic and we can see that a lot of thought was put in the user interaction/experience. The "low-code" and fast mindset makes it possible that when we need to make changes or add new functionalities, the cost in time and money invested is low compared to other solutions The integration with other platforms is another plus, making possible to easily deploy processes that were done inside the offices, like in an ERP or other platforms, in a mobile and "everywhere/everytime" context
Cons: Some more advanced developments still need an advanced knowledge of the platform and of coding It is necessary to rapidly incorporate more "low-code" and ease of development tools to developers. With some more new functionalities that I'm sure are in the works, the platform can improve a lot
"Rapid development without losing flexibility"
Pros: - Fast developoment of business solutions without loosing the flexibility of writing code, if its necessary. - Easy integration with external software - SAAS / Cloud solutions on the fly - Integrated state machine - integrated reporting and template framework - Integrated email - integrated identity, roles, permissions management
Cons: - Small community - absence of a store to buy and sell applications
"Low-code and agile development"
Pros: The things I like the most about using OMNIA is that I can easily build, test and edit web applications very fast. The "low-code" mindset is very noticeable within the entire development experience and the fact that it provides constant upgrades and improvements makes it my company's number one choice for web app development
Cons: The thing that I least like about this software is that for more complex developments, I need to know how to code. There are several "low-code/no-code" features, but in certain scenarios, the solution needs to be coded. The learning curve could be more accessible, but it has been improving over time
"Low Code for Developers"
Pros: With OMNIA we can quickly create applications that integrate with all types of systems. OMNIA has great API, this allows any external application to integrate with OMNIA. Any operation made via the interface on the platform can be done via API, this allows to automate some processes in the creation, test and deployment.
Cons: The platform needs to evolve to allow more customization.
"Assement to Omnia's Platform"
Pros: Omnia is a wide solution that enables a low-coding ecosystem to drive new features to a certain market and my best compliment to this tool is the fact that it also can be very familiar and specific to my personal needs. My use is mostly focused on my personal expenses as well as my scheduling. This tool allows me to be on the field and quickly reporting to my hierarchical superior at the same time. Hence, our communication is fluid and without any stoppage. I see this as something very effective to my daily work but what is most enriching from a technological point of view is the fact that this is a self-service solution completely dematerialized.
Cons: Can't say that is a certain part of the platform that I dislike, I would say there are plenty of other processes that can be optimized thru this solution. So, the challenge is huge.
"OMNIA review"
Overall: In my experience with OMNIA a see that some process passed to be paperless and more efficient.
Pros: This software makes the job developer more efficient and user-friendly for the future users. The platform are in constant evolution and integrate the best technology, in order to satisfy the modern requirements of the process business and the integration of distinguish platforms .
Cons: The reason that seams to me more discouragement for small enterprises to use it is the cost. To initialize some big project with key features out off the box, needs to be done for a experience technical with a god knowledge of some recent technologies.
"A step in the future."
Pros: The Omnia platform is an innovative solution. It is possible to add any business model and adjust it to the client's reality. Agile, easy to model, accessible to any type of user. It has the advantage of being a platform that integrates with existing solutions, which allows to improve the whole process of the customer, as well as to make the cost profitable, since Omnia complements an existing solution.
Cons: The reports. In my opinion, changing the reports should be more accessible so that any user, with less knowledge of programming language, could access and make changes.
"Great concept and nice implementation"
Overall: Started with a simple business application, a simple business problem related to order approval and discovered the application could solve a lot of business problems.
Pros: Quick development of bussiness apllication, amazing customization. Use of standard technologies like Javascript and WebAPI
Cons: Available on cloud subscription only. No on-premises option
