They are top notch, and really strive to make the best product. They do this by listening and asking for feedback, and then improving the product. Pros The ability to recommend a team member for an upcoming project. Cons We could utilize some additional dashboards. It also let's us filter to see specific roles, projects or open positions as needed. We are better able to collaborate across workgroups on building solid teams. Pros The software meets all our project staffing needs very well. Doesn't try to do too much. Cons Has a few less customization features than we would like. Reason for choosing Bridgit Bench Bridget Bench is very simple, user friendly and easy to use. It has great visualization tools, great customer service and responsiveness and a great price. Switched from [Smartsheet](https://www.capterra.com/p/79104/Smartsheet/) We didn't have a good way to collaborate across workgroups on upcoming project staffing needs. Each group was keeping their own Smartsheets which were set up differently and shared with each other for viewing purposes only. Pros Love that the product is designed for construction. Provides a solution for a process that most construction companies manage from a dysfunctional spreadsheets or inside the mind of the operations manager. Cons Editing allocations is a bit tedious. Once you have the hang of it, it works. A bit of learning curve though. Would love to be able to drag and drop resources around. Would love to potentially expand to include craft resources. The team is friendly as well. Pros The ease of use when it comes to placing people on jobs. The information the system stores is also very useful when it comes to reporting and staying organized with staff allocations and availabilities. Cons Not having Workday implemented to transfer new hire profiles over to Bridgit. Also, manually having to add people's previous experience in on your template to then upload, when we have a previous template in place through MS Forms. After our first call with the team at Bridgit, we immediately recognized the value their platform could bring to our business. The Bridgit team is knowledgeable, responsive, and great to work with. We’re excited to continue building our partnership with them. Pros I really like the full visibility it provides its users to all projects. This has streamlined our workforce planning & it is a tool our team actually enjoys using. Cons We wish there was a direct integration with Procore. Bridgit also allows us to dump that information into other formats (excel) allowing us to do further research. Cons Sometimes updates do not take (adjusting start and finish dates) automatically. Pros Manpower outlining is the best part about Bridgit. You can see at a quick glance who and when project needs are happening. December 4, 2020 5.0 Overall, Bridgit is a huge upgrade from our Excel resource tracking spreadsheets. It is easy to use, and the mobile application makes it easy to see project information and people assignments on the go. The Gantt chart is also a great visual tool to help understand where resources are deployed and for how long. Pros The software is intuitive and easy to use. After the initial import of people and projects, the software is very easy to maintain and the Gantt chart makes it very easy to view commitments and availability across all resources. Cons Entering the project dates for each phase is a bit clunky, and the standard colors for projects don't include yellow which makes it difficult to implement our green, yellow, and red tracking system for projects. Pros Allows all stakeholders to participate and weigh in on staffing with an intuitive and powerful tool Cons The dashboard needs some more description around what and how it is calculating. It took a while for me to understand how to dial it in. Also the dashboard does not account for attrition or promotions in the ranks so I still have to some mental math when looking out over a year. Pros •Visual Gantt chart by projects is seamless and provides a quick and easy resource to help plan. •Bridgit allows for easy customization of filters to see and sort the data in virtually in any fashion the user desires. The product also allows for easily generated reports to help in workforce planning meetings/updates. •The ability to track proximity of staff to jobsite locations is a great asset when developing potential resources for a project or opportunity, especially in a metro location where travel/traffic are true barriers. •The recent integration with our financial platform has helped with eliminating the dual entry for our teams which is saving us time and effort. •Ability to track upcoming interns/ extended offers is a feature we did not have within our previous system and allows us to manage and track them better. •With a growing base of carpenters and laborers, Bridgit allows us to forecast needs and our this has been a huge help to our teams in workforce planning for these individuals. The sales / customer service teams are amazing and have really listened to our goals and concerns. They have adapted quickly and made a great deal of positive changes to the program over a very short time based on user feedback. Pros Being able to track a project and its related manpower needs from concept to finish in one place has been such a time saver! Cons Sometimes there are almost too many options, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Finding the right combination of settings to get to the right view can be tricky sometimes. It does so by allowing us to see future obstacles early clearly and allows us to take action and mitigate them. Pros The ease of use and intuitive nature of the software makes implementation and support almost a hands-off process! Cons Bridgit Bench is a great software but does lack some features that we would like to see. I will say that they do a fantastic job of taking customer feedback and putting it into their pipeline of development and work to ensure that any critical items are addressed in a timely manner. It is very useful in managing multiple people over multiple projects. Pros The ease of sorting and tracking multiple people across multiple projects with different start and finish dates for not only the projects but for the various roles and position needs for the projects. Cons I would like to see an easier way to better allocate shared resources over the life a project. For instance an PE being allocated maybe 30% for the first 3 months then change to 100% for the next 7 months and back down to 30% for the final 3 months. GANTT chart can be very powerful. Cons at first, limited options when sorting. Latest upgrades on the software made it easier. Not being able to create GANTT chart from People list. Also, when downloading report in PDF, BRIDGIT branding is too important. We should have the option of removing logos. Reason for choosing Bridgit Bench The GANTT chart was appealing. Pros Like the overall dash board, provides quick but quality information. The project gantt view is where you see everything and helps with placing and allocating ones time. Cons Would like to create reports from the people page, one that can sort by person so you can see where there are overlaps. Also when looking a person detail and it outlines the projects they are working on it would be great to be able to edit the detail, easier to do project allocation when looking at all projects that person is working on.
