The best hands down! Pros The ease of use is unbelievable! The fact that our older members were able to learn and use it is worth every penny! Cons In the early days it was a “work in progress” There were some bugs that needed to be worked out as you would expect at the inception of any product. Since then it has been exceptional. Reason for choosing My Sermon Notes As a senior pastor I looked at several other Apps to use in our church. Link to our online church calendar. Sermon notes without printing out paper copies. Annoucements. These are the main ways we use the app, but there are more parts of the app available. Pros Easy to use. Prayer Chain is a 10 star. Love the announcements, events, link to our church calendar. The fill-in-the-blank sermon notes. Cons One of my favorite features is the sermon notes. But this area needs more work to allow better formatting, cut and pasting, etc. It is a rather new app, they are still working on it. Looking forward to getting a lot more control in the Sermon part of the app. Reason for choosing My Sermon Notes Obviously - I thought My Sermon Notes was the best app. When I evaluated all others, MSN came in #1 for meeting our needs. It's a time saver for me and a great communication tool for the church as a whole. The ease of use is amazing...even for people that aren't "tech savvy"! I have received rave reviews from our congregation as to all that the app provides. I would totally recommend this app to any and all churches that I affiliate with! Pros I love the ease of use as well as the functionality of the app. Not to mention the quality customer service anytime there is a need. The team also does a wonderful job of informing us of updates and new capabilities in relationship to the app. Cons While the app is functional there may be a better overall design and the configuration. But that’s really just being nit-picky. Reason for choosing My Sermon Notes I didn’t really consider any alternatives. But I will say that after for seeing My Sermon Notes there was no need to consider any other. I am completely satisfied! Congregants and visitors alike can access necessary information, as well as use the app to follow along with the sermons or lessons. A nice feature is they can enter their thoughts and notes directly into the app. Another nice feature is you can list prayer requests for the church to view and pray for. It would be nice to be able to set up recurring notifications or copy announcements, but hopefully in the future. Their technical support team is extremely helpful and responsive. Pros I like the simple layout and ease to update. We can easily update sermon notes on a weekly basis. Cons There are that many options to customize graphics or the layout. Pros MSN is a great sermon management software. Its document/editing interface is excellent, as are its publication tools. I appreciate the other features (online giving, membership tracking, etc), though we use other systems for that. Cons Online giving tracking is a little bit clunky for our church needs, but I can imagine other contexts where it would work well. November 25, 2019 5.0 Pros The developers have done a great job of predicting which features would be most helpful for churches in creating this app. It is amazingly user-friendly, and easy to use. I am especially impressed at their responsiveness in the early stages of development...supporting users and even adopting "wish list" features in new releases. My Sermon Notes makes my life simpler, and they are great to work with! Cons I wish this app had been created years ago. The response time is great. The customer service is amazing. Our Pastor absolutely loves this app. He is able to share his notes with the congregation each week while our church has been closed due to COVID-19. Pros What I liked most about this software is that we are able to request customized graphics to use with the features. Cons What I least like about the My Sermons Notes is the limited ability to customize the features. With that being said, the support team has been great at customizing features for us.
