The customer service is generally excellent. Pros The functionality is reasonably good. The inventory is good and useful to see if an item has been purchased previously. The Quartzy deals are sometimes good. It is easy to search for the exact chemicals and lab supplies that you need across multiple websites and companies. And you know exactly how much you are saving versus having bought directly from the company. It keeps track of everything that you order in one place, tells you what has been received and what is on back order and when to expect it. We use this from everything from chemicals to lab coats to beakers to bottle brushes and rubber bands. They seriously have everything you could possibly need for your lab and all in one place at great prices! Cons It would be nice if it could also be used to store SDS sheets. Review Source JG Josh G. It's customizable to our needs and makes the necessary information accessible. Also, the staff is extremely responsive, helpful, and friendly. And I get the impression it's a great place to work... Cons I would like to be able to view and print order confirmations. That's the one piece (besides packing slips and invoices) that I don't consistently get, but need. Everyone can log in a request what they need and it is all organized by department. Cons I would like to be able to group into the same PO when there are different lab groups using the same PO. There’s no missed emails with their product request and tracking features. Pros My favorite feature of Quartzy is the ability to request products needed and track your order progress. If someone from your team needs a specific product they can simply request it and have the administrator order it. No need for lengthy emails. Cons I’m not a fan of the inventory layout. What a joke of a company Pros Efficient, at least for admins and my boss Cons Zero Phone support, literally cannot get someone on the phone to help with account access. Have to send an email and wait. Really doesnt seem like they care very much about the end user of the software. Pros Quartzy is a very nice and kind lab manager. If someone in my lab want to buy a chemical or lab supplies, they just add list on the website so that other people can see what we need. Therefore, it can save our time and money as well by not buying the same products. Cons I am involved in two different labs. It would be better if I can see both lists of two different labs in just one account. I don't want to make multiple accounts for each lab.
