I like it because lighting design studios work with custom projects and if you just need basic inventory management, tools like TradeGecko or Zoho Inventory are more affordable.

Pros

Technical product catalog management (lumens, wattage, compatibility). Integration with industry manufacturers and distributors. Track specific lighting components (LEDs, drivers, luminaires) with technical codes. Low-stock alerts and reorder suggestions based on historical demand. Automatic energy savings calculation for commercial customers. Generation of technical proposals with integrated 3D renderings.

Cons

The interface is very geared toward technical users (engineers, lighting designers). It can be overwhelming for administrative teams without industry knowledge.

Everyone at Llumin has been very helpful and supportive. When we have issues or need functionality change, they are very receptive to our needs and respond quickly.

Cons

needs a more detailed audit sheet. We can see the basics of what happened, but no the individual field changes.

software is ok but I'm sure there is a cheaper alternative.

First you buy the software at a ridiculous price of about 70K then you get hit for using the software??? You pay twice no matter what they say!

As a new user to Llumin, I needed some assistance, called the Llumin support line and was lucky enough to have \[sensitive content hidden\] answer my call. He has been my go-to person ever since. Most communication is by email, but there have also been calls and he has even done Team meetings for real-time training. If \[sensitive content hidden\] was unavailable, I could also get assistance from another support member.

Pros

I use work orders, purchase orders, and PM's on a daily basis. Llumin has allowed me to track, assets and expenses easily.

Cons

I would like to have an easier way to locate work orders that have been closed. Receipts in Purchase Orders - would be great to have individual lines indicating what has been received, when and the qty without have to open/print the receipts page.

Good, they are always open to listen to suggestions.

Pros

Very easy to use and get around. This has helped our maintenance group become more organized. Schedules stay in tact.

Cons

Initially we had to go through quite a bit of growing pains as it was eRPortal at the time and were still trying to figure things out.It would be nice if the project management was part of the CMMS package.
