Overall, Parcel Tracker is a great app. Customer service is excellent. They are very proactive by calling or emailing to check in on you.

Pros

The app is easy to use. We have employees who are not tech savvy and have been able to use it without a problem.

Cons

There wasn't anything I disliked except it wasn't easy to use offline if you don't have cell service or wifi. We were supposed to be able to upload when we had service.

Pros

Very easy to use, very user friendly. Captures an image of the package you are scanning in for later reference if you have a lot of packages on hand. Allows for a large number of users and recipients.

Cons

Does not sync well between all users' devices and will show radically different numbers. No easy way to do any sort of package audit if you have packages in the system that were picked up but not scanned out of the app.

Pros

It's very easy to setup, works smoothly, and does exactly what it is supposed to do. Simple design makes it useful in many settings/applications.

Cons

Some features not available that may be coming soon. Currently no integration with common messaging platforms like Microsoft Teams and Slack.

We use to track our packages manually and this has made that process so efficient. I would highly recommend if need to track incoming office packages. It's easy to scan a package, for the recipient to be notified and for them to check out the package on the iPad.

Pros

Very user friendly software. Easy to set up recipients. For us it was important that you could add multiple emails for notification and Parcel Tracker was the only one out of the apps we were looking at that offered that feature. The times we've had issues, customer support has been quick in resolving the issues. I thought with us in Canada and the app based out of the UK, support would be an issue because of the time difference and I've always gotten a response right away.

Cons

Sometimes the android app is glitchy but this has always be resolved right away. Other than that, no issues.

Parcel has been a great tool for transitioning from manual to digital tracking, especially in residential settings with multiple users. It has improved visibility and made package management easier. With a few fixes—like syncing and photo uploads—it could be even better.

Pros

Great app for going digital, especially in residential settings. Prior to Parcel, our tracking system for senior residents involved manually logging items in and out of a binder, which had its own pros and cons. Parcel allows us to better track packages, especially in situations where staff, residents, or couriers cannot provide clear answers. The web browser interface is fantastic for visual learners—you can create customized views to filter what is and isn’t needed.

Cons

Images do not always upload after submitting. It would be helpful if the app automatically prompted a photo instead of requiring the extra step to select “take a photo.” Logged items also do not always sync across different users and devices.

We used to track our packages on an Excel spreadsheet (just for our dept.) which didn't help if the package was delivered to an incorrect dept. Now that we use Parcel Tracker anywhere the package is it has been scanned/logged so we can find them quickly and easily.

Pros

Able to log both incoming and outgoing mail, ability to add notes regarding the contents of the package, able to download as a CSV file and automated emails to each affected employee.

Cons

Application cannot be used when WiFi is down, which causes a delay in tracking the packages correctly.

It's a great app, easy to use, sometimes simple is the best! But the product support i have found to be excellent, the response from a real human was really quick and was nice to know they had further support available to them quickly as well. the problem i mentioned in the "cons" box was resolved within 20 minutes

Pros

ease of use, once set up it's a very simple tool to use, there are also links to youtube video guides for all the features that are simple straight to the point and not time wasting at all.

Cons

It's a great tool for handling student parcels, but could use a few performance improvements to optimise the app across devices of various specifications.

Pros

It has a clean and user-friendly interface, easy to learn and use, it's quick to scan parcels and collections for delivery, and the support team is very responsive.

Cons

It lags sometimes, particularly on low-spec devices. Once, all our data was cleared off the app but was recovered through the help of the support stuff.

Very positive. I would definitely recommend this software to any company or organisation who deal with parcel deliveries.

Pros

Parcel Tracker has made processing our student and staff deliveries much quicker and has reduced the number of errors significantly. It enables us to track parcels throughout our delivery process and provides much clearer information for our staff and students. It allows us to utilise our storage space much more effeciently

Cons

Occasional IT issues but these have been resolved very quickly and the support from Parcel Tracker has been great

Simple admin interface with many possibilities. For first-line users, it is intuitive and easy via mobile. We have finally gained control and an overview of all packages!

Pros

It's an intuitive and well-organised system with many possibilities. Registering packages via mobile is easy, and picking up packages makes us feel like we have control.

Cons

There are no particular downsides to mention. It took a little time to set up exactly as we wanted, but with good help from support, it worked out. Good training is also essential, which we experienced.

Really good app to use, easy to train staff with. Less likely of losing parcels on site. So easy for the residents to show a QR code and scan to locate the parcel.

Pros

The digital log of each parcel for residents is really useful, knowing if we still have a parcel or the resident has collected it is a great feature especially when we are queried about them. It's really simple to use and fast compared to our old process.

Cons

We had a bulk upload of main residents which is great, although when we have one off short stays it can be a little bit annoying as these residents won't be on the system and we would only know by human knowledge (only criticism).

much better than the system we were previously using. Very easy to use as the system automatically generates a QR code which residents can scan and show proof of delivery. System automatically sends confirmation once they have signed and collected the parcel which helps to manage lost parcels

We changed to parcel tracker after using paper records for years, and the change to our workload and the student experience has been wonderful - it is so easy to view records, especially when we receive queries from students wanting to know where there parcels are!

It is nicely designed app and very user friendly. Student's really like that they just have to show the QR code and they can get their parcels easily. Using new technology even for small tasks shows that the company is modern and follows the trend, which is also good for the image of the company I work for.

Pros

Very user-friendly and straightforward app with nice design. Extremely modern approach of handling parcels. It makes the parcels look up easier by using the pictures we have to take when processing them and displaying the room numbers on the top. Very quick system, students are notified straight after we process their boxes. The QR codes can be scanned easily even with blurry, not well lid screens. Provides a very easy collection procedure. Easy to handle the recipients' email address changes on the phone.

Cons

You can scan the same parcel twice, the system does not recognise if you processed the parcel already. Anybody could collect the parcel if they had the QR code, so we had to start asking for IDs again to make sure students are not collecting each other's parcels. There is at least 3 of us during the day who handles parcels and it is time consuming to type in our email addresses and passwords every time we use the device after each other.

Has made parcel tracking a lot easier at work, especially with the photos of the parcels as it helps locate parcels for residents also.

Pros

The simplicity is the best part for me, I just hold down a button and it'll scan all the information on the parcel and match it to the student for me and all I click is send

Cons

It can occasionally not notify the student but 99% of the time it doesn't lead to issues because of this as they're still aware they have a parcel through the courier notification.

Pros

Since our reception upgraded to the parcel tracker service, everything is now instant. It saves so much time and the concierge is now offering the parcels as soon as they arrive. It used to take a couple of hours “for processing” and now I get a notification and I have my parcels. I am really grateful parcel tracker exists in our life.

Cons

The integration was seamless, concierge was really happy to use it and transition was easy. I can’t wait to see what’s next.

Easy to use and helpful functions such as images or parcels and can pull though signatures form previously accepted parcels which is superful.

Cons

Updates in the past have caused a bit of trouble with logging out/re-scanning already scanned parcels, however this seems to been fixed over the past year

I was highly impressed. When ever i needed help i always received a prompt response regardless we are all on way different time zones. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] were FANTASTIC!

Pros

My favorite thing about parcel tracker was that i could scan the name on the package and it would find the correct person as well as scanning the tracking number to identify what it was. It was super easy to send emails track what was still sitting as well as send a follow up email letting them know they had a package waiting.

Cons

The only issue i had was we used multiple devices and computers so they didnt always sync but how we fixed this was to log out and log back in a few times a week so that way it would always be correct.
