More capabilities would make it more valuable to more people. Pros Orai helps you become more aware of how you're speaking and make suggestions for how you can improve. An AI is more consistent and available then suggestions from people. Cons Unable to upload recordings for analysis. That would be very helpful. Review Source MY Mike Y. " July 30, 2019 5.0 Pros Orai is the best AI public speaking solution out there. Not only can it be used to aid an instructor, it can be used as the instructor. Orai gives phenomenal feedback and is fun to use. I use Orai with students as young as 8 years old. Not only are they able to understand how to use and navigate the app, they love doing it. Orai can reclaim, repurpose and redeem the old, tired and scary public speaking class in schools. Cons The only thing I think the app needs is a way to give feedback on facial expressions and body/hand gestures. I know this is coming! Reason for choosing Orai Voice Vibes doesn’t do enough to justify using it over Orai. Moreover, Voice Vibes’ speech upload process is too difficult and isn’t a great user experience. The general feedback from all my clients has been.." this is a really great tool!". Users love it and I like the way it augments my job and makes the learning fun, visual and measurable. Pros I like its versatility in that it measures a few characteristics of a person's speech, not just say fillers. The analysis is good, but also the feedback and exercises you can do to improve. Speaking well is not something you learn as a once-off, it is continuous and Orai handles this continuous learning well. As a coach, I can also upload my own lessons and exercises for my clients. Cons Sometimes it takes a few seconds to load a report, but if you can wait a couple of seconds it isn't too bad. Review Source DB DAvid B. Pros It is easy to use. It is a simple, self directed approach to improving your oratory skills. You can work on your oratory skills whenever you have time, untethered to a classroom at your own convenience. It also provides immediate feedback to your results/progress. February 26, 2020 5.0 It is a great software and I look forward to using it more! Pros I was really surprised at how well this app analyses the audio recording! It differentiates between intonation, speed, volume, counts fillers and pauses, energy, facial expression, and gives great feedback on the impact of the sound of your speech on other people. This has made my customer and internal presentations more impactful. It was only a few minutes a day, but I got quite a bit of value in that short period. Pros I liked the immediate and accurate feedback I received from Orai. In particular, Orai helped me become much more sensitive to pacing, helping me become more conscious of when I need to adjust my pacing to convey my message better. By removing fillers, adding appropriate pauses and varying my tone and volume, I can tell the story better. Pros I think before I speak by using pauses instead of filler words. I use lesser filler words now. My articulation and tone of voice has improved. This is a good software to help correct your common presenation mistakes that you did not even know you had. The ML is pretty accurate and helps to plot historical trends in the way you present.
