Meiro has been a reliable and flexible CDP that solved our regulatory challenges while also improving personalization and ROI. Compared to our previous provider, it’s more transparent, accurate, and truly real-time. I’d definitely recommend it to companies that need both compliance and performance without hidden costs.

Pros

We switched to Meiro last year as we expanded to the Middle East, and it’s been a great decision. The ability to deploy on private cloud or on-prem was critical for us due to data residency regulations, and Meiro handled that smoothly with local AWS deployment. Pricing transparency has also been a big win, unlike Bloomreach, there are no hidden charges for add-ons or data exports, which makes budgeting predictable. The flexible identity stitching rules significantly improved how we consolidate customer profiles across devices and channels, which boosted our personalization accuracy. Finally, the real-time personalization truly works. Thanks to the built-in ETL layer, we can synchronize data instantly and deliver dynamic experiences at scale.

Cons

So far, nothing major to point out as a con. The platform and the team have both been excellent and helpful.

### "Amazing Bloomreach alternative"

We moved to Meiro last year, when we expanded our business. The first and main reason was that Meiro supports private cloud and on-prem, that was crucial to us as we must follow country regulations and Meiro allowed us to deploy it on AWS. Another important thing that I want to point out is transparent pricing. While we struggled to get unexpected bills with charges for add-ons and export of extra-data from Bloomreach. With Meiro it’s not a problem anymore and we have clear budget planning without extra charges. Also, compared to Bloomreach, Meiro’s identity stitching rules are flexible. It significantly improved the accuracy of consolidating customer profiles across devices, browsers, and channels and helped us to deliver better personalized experiences. Last but not least, finally it’s true real-time personalisation. Despite everyone talking about real-time, I know that it’s an issue on the market. But the ETL layer built into Meiro helps us synchronise data real-time and dynamically personalise customer interaction.

With cross-platform 1st party data insights, Meiro’s provided us we’ve developed greater knowledge of our customers and improved our marketing activation strategies. With powerful segmentation capabilities, we have turned around sour marketing campaigns and personalized customer communications. That in turn did miracles on our campaign performance — we’re now more effective at retaining and upselling our customers, and we’ve increased customer lifetime value since adopting Meiro CDP. With Meiro CDP we managed to work around 3rd party cookie ban — we are now able to create meaningful and consistent personalized campaigns with engaged users, segment audiences and create lookalikes for enriched ad campaigns. We feed segmented audiences to ad systems for direct contact and as the basis for lookalike prospecting models directly from Meiro’s platform. That, in turn, maximizes our budgets for acquisition. All the Meiro-created segments that we use for active campaigns, in most cases, are our best-performing audiences Meiro’s seamless integration with programmatic ads helps us optimize our campaign budgets and drive more results in real-time.

"We got Meiro CDP running in Q1 of 2024 so it is still settling down. Though in the short time using the platform I clearly see the added value it has brought to our work with customers data. The identity stitching thing simply works, it is quite flexible to our needs and really brings great context about our customers. Thanks to that we are able to target our audiences with much clearer approach. It is not guessing or hoping that our campaings reach the right customers, we really know who we are targeting now. Using it pretty much daily. What is great, once our data sources have been connected by Meiro team, that's simply it and the platform can do its magic and work with it. We didn't need to prepare the data structure in any specific way or change anything about it. Needed to say, the service provided by Meiro team is great part of using the platform too. They simply know their tool and they do help us with anything we need - or sometimes we don't even know we may need."

Cons

Overall the experience has been just pretty good. The tool has its perks here and there (as any other platform) but the Meiro team are constantly working on it.

I joined Meiro collaboration when we had completed the initial integration and started working with data, creating the first scenarios, and expanding the implementation. Our company has a large portfolio of seemingly autonomous websites that we needed to keep track of and Meiro is dealing with it very well. With the connection of our tools (and some from external providers) and databases, it provides valuable opportunities.

Pros

I appreciate approach of the team, their efforts to find solution even in complex situations. Even if it might be just a marginal topic for their business. Meiro in general, is a sophisticated CDP. With a properly created integration it provides valuable insight about our users, and with efficient data exports we can effectively reach them.

Cons

During our cooperation (even in the period when I did not work with Meiro personally and know it indirectly from my coworkers) we did not encounter any negatives.

We successfully deployed the CDP on our own on-prem infrastructure, which gave us full compliance and peace of mind. The support team is also exceptional — highly professional, responsive, and proactive in sharing best practices. The built-in ETL/Reverse ETL layer lets us process data in real time and deliver highly relevant offers to customers at the right moment. Segments created in Meiro consistently become our best-performing audiences, driving higher conversions and ROI.

Cons

Would love to see even more native marketing automation features, but overall the platform has been excellent.

We have been using Meiro CDP for almost 5 years now. This is one solution that is very flexible from a hosting perspective and it has given us the possibility to have our data hosted within Indonesia and hence allowing us to be on-premise as well. The consulting team is very proactive with their services & the response time meets our requirements. The Meiro CDP product roadmap is promising & it's great to see that the Meiro team is always ahead of the game and other competitive CDPs in the market.

Meiro's headquarter location is outside Indonesia, we hope someday Meiro will have their own office in Indonesia

We have multiple brands in our company and thanks to Meiro identity stitching we are able to work with our users cross our brands and get to know them better. Let's not forget about support we have from Meiro itself. Colaboration with team in Meiro is on top level - great tech, data and business support. I used to work with another tools for segmentations and customer targeting through multiple channels. Comparing to Meiro I had to use SQL to be able to get an audiance. Meiro segmentations are really simple and user friendly even for data non-driven users.

On-prem implementation option is very unique and let us overcame many regulatory problems in terms of data storage and management. It is very easy to implement with its well documented procedures and easy to use interfaces. Highly customizable connectors and workspaces lets you ingest or export the data as your creativity and need. All above lets you create very unique and accurate segments which are performing very high comparing to the generic audiences you would use in any ad platform.

There were some updates for Meiro events tracking library which were not fully backward-complatible and we had to identify that and change tracking, but it was minor and scarce.

I like that with Meiro, all the data points are provided by us, as they can work with our own internal data as well as event tracking on our applications. This gives us a lot of control over our data and ensures consistent data definitions for building segments. It has really helped empower our teams to create their own audiences, segment users for more personalized marketing, and supercharge our product personalization efforts!

Cons

I feel that the marketing automations on the platform could be more robust, but they have an extensive product roadmap to address this in the future.

Unparalleled to any platforms.

Pros

Meiro platform offers two products - Meiro Integrations (MI) and Meiro Business Explorer (MBE). MI offers really powerfull ETL based product with really nice technology - I trully appreciate it because it motivated employers to get to know basic skills aroung SQL, python and R. While learning abovementioned technologies, the employers can have immediate effect on results of company - it is really enjoyable feeling, if you prep some data pipeline that feeds CDP platform from which the audience is regularly exported to fuel your marketing campaign. Basically, you are part of end - to - end process of generating value for your company and by learning the core technologies like SQL, python and R. The possibilities within the platform are limitless - and that is no exageration at all. MBE offers interface to create customer based attributes, schedule audiences, setting rights, create banners etc.

Cons

There is no community yet. Would be helpful to have group of users and exanging the ideas or to have a place to look for inspiration.
