Pros Ease of billing clients and managing credit card payments. Precise monthly financial reports to let us know where we are financially as a company. Cons It is not always easy to get answers to more complex questions through customer support. Everything I need is there at my fingertips. Pros This program is very comprehensive and easy to use. Financial reports are everything I need and invoicing and payments save me so much time; especially using the automatic payments monthly for multiple clients. Pros Very in-depth, covers many aspects of the business's requirements and offers many functional operational functions. Cons It can be very complicated to set up and to use. Pros It integrates well into other platforms and offers some unique benefits that remove my need to use additional software for travel and tax filing. Cons A bit clunky. Feels a little outdated. Almost like operating on a windows 7 style application. Doesn’t have that modern “flow” that some other platforms have. More people are familiar with QuickBooks so it makes customers more comfortable. Unfamiliar estimate/invoicing platforms can raise concern with some clients. QuickBooks has evolved nicely and allows me to use the same program for many different things. Pros It is very helpful and the guidance is very useful. I found that even though I am fairly knowledgeable Quickbooks still helps to make sure I do not forget anything. I also like they have a nice looking platform. Cons I would say the platform could be set up to look and feel a little more simpler over all. Although it looks good, it could be more economical in how the UI is. Also the tool that pulls over all data from previous software sounds great but it doesn't keep currency conversion which sucks if you need that. Pros Initially simple to use but once issues arose they refused to address them and took over 6 months to acknowledge them and have still billed me for the inconvenience. Haven’t been able to use their system for over 6 months and used MYOB instead and they still claim they aren’t at fault despite not rectifying it 6 months ago. Cons Wasted 6 months+ telling me a fox was coming. Still unresolved and now fighting for a full refund since not a single invoice or transaction has been synced by QuickBooks. Avoid at all costs! Also with my stacked schedule, I love that I dont have to hunt around for info - everything I need to know is in the app! Cons What I least liked was the price although I ended up opting for the annual subscription. There are cheaper options but none of them checked all my boxes. The answer is always to consult a expert through them and I have found that even they cant fix the probems and I waste more time and money. Pros Its was easy to use and integrates with a lot of programs. Cons It frequently duplicates import data and you can not back it off. It requires journal entries. The new AI interface and passkey are a failure. Contatntly locking up and taking hours out of the users day to get resolved. No support after hours costing clients more money. The higjer the price has gone the less reliable the platform has become . Very diappointing. I decided to try this out before hiring an accountant to see if I could do it. Love the simplicity of it but beware if you are the kind of person that skips directions and tutorials. Take the time to learn how to use it before starting and enjoy feeling like you are an accountant. Pros I was amazed and how user friendly the product was. Very easy to set up with the simple step by step instructions. Follow the tutorial and you will be an expert in no time. Cons I'm racking my brain to answer this question. But the service can grow to encompass more as you expand. It’s a lot of programme for a relatively small fee. Pros Been using QBO for a couple of years to help me has a sole trader. It is very easy to consolidate all my accounts in one place. The auto mileage tracker is a great help as well. Cons For a while the interface of the mobile app didn’t match the version used in any other devices. It has slowly come in line. It’s only a small niggle, but it was annoying. Pros Queue QuickBooks Online, which makes it easier to manage rental invoices, vendor bills and employee reimbursements all in one system. Bank accounts auto-sync is not bad. Cons There is no flexibility in reporting unless you do an upgrade or export into excel manually which is a total bummer.
