Pros I have been using AVS4YOU for several years. It has a lot of great features, many of which I haven't used yet, just fooled around with. I am now getting to aplace in my business where I can start using some of these features. Cons Sometimes it's a challenge to figure out how to do something. Pros I snapped up AVS when I saw it and have bought it for others as well. The interface is intuitive and reliable. Even for professional work, I'll often sneak an edit from AVS through and have it done in minutes. Super flexible; lots of features, more than you'll ever need. Cons I wish it was more portable. If I buy a new computer I have to start over. Reason for choosing AVS Video Editor The editor is a stable utility and new features are added regularly. Cons Lack of bi-directional h.265 and AV1 support will be critical for any video editor going forward. Lack of plug-in support is also a disappointment. Pros It can split files relatively well although not intuitive. Cons Product is not intuitive. Quite difficult to work out how to perform functions. Slow. Promises a lifetime licence but that only counts for one PC. If you upgrade to a new computer then you lose your licence which means in reality it is not a lifetime licence.
