We have to frequently create clips from the recorded video. AVS video editor makes this an easy task. Pros Editing vdeos is very easy with video editor. you have many formats to save your edited video. I also enjoy using the Print Screen feature. Cons I haven't found anything to criticize aboit the functionality of AVS Video Editor. Review Source VR Verified Reviewer Manager Sports Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Quite low cost and fairly easy to use for a non-professional" December 17, 2020 4.0 I have been able to do what I want to do, which is quite quickly, easily and at fairly low cost do some basic editing of videos and producing an end product that I'm happy with. Pros I'm no expert, but I guess this is in the middle of the price range and relatively easy for a novice to use. So for around £50 (depending what discounts they are doing at the time), I was able to be editing movies within a few minutes. It's not top-end, but that is kind-of the point. It's quite low cost and an amateur like myself can do quite a decent job of making movies with it. Cons There were some problems with the quality of my produced movie, and I found it hard to pinpoint the reason without quite a lot of searching. Having said that, when I contacted support, they immediately told me the problem and it's been fine since. So their response was really good, but you do have to ask for the help. Pros I like the simplicity; I'm not creating a blockbuster movie, I'm moving video and sound and I'd like some basic effects and transitions without complex procedure; I can make a simple one minute video, produced nicely with effects, in about 30 minutes. Cons I'd like more understanding about sound/video overlap. In other words, a clearer ability to talk over existing video sound at a certain point, then bring the audio back in. Cons When cutting and splicing videos, you need to ensure you have precise set, not nearest frame, or your video will not include everything. It would be nice is this was explained in a tutorial. Pros Has all the essential features to create a professional video clip.Format changes, audio tracks, split/merge/splice are all very easy.Intuitive and drag-n-drop style is easy to learn.Well done AVS ! Cons Sometimes the minor features swamp the GUI.Keeping advanced features layered in other menus might lead to a less cluttered interface.Help tips (options to click on) along the way would be good.
