Experience with NPAW Suite more than satisfied. Suite have everything what you will need to get and use data from OTT platforms. Non technical user finds this tools easy to use and trainings do not take much time until user can work with NPAW Suite independently. Flexibility of NPAW Suite is the key that satisfied all users of tool.

Pros

Simple and flexible product. You have not overloaded tool with multiple selections, button or not needed information one screen. And to create what you want to see, it is east and simple.

Cons

Advanced analytics can find some functionalities that are limiting his experience slicing data and doing deeper analysis.

Overall, my experience with NPAW has been excellent. We tested and worked with three other well-known analytics providers available on the market, and NPAW truly stands out. It offers great cost benefit, a wide range of excellent features, and very good support.

Pros

NPAW offers a lot of great options for the OTT environment (Live, VOD, and Ads), but what I like the most is the data granularity, filtering options, and support.Data granularity allows us to retrieve information from almost all clients in near real-time (last 1 minute). Filtering provides dozens of different ways to refine data and quickly find what we're looking for—such as viewing all plays, errors, or behaviors for a specific user. The NPAW environment is also very straightforward and intuitive.

Cons

The things I liked the least are related to dashboard organization and user management permissions. Regarding dashboard organization, it is not possible to automatically arrange dashboards in alphabetical order or easily identify dashboard owners. As for user management, logging in via an email account is not supported—only usernames can be used. Additionally, MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) would be a desirable feature for security reasons.

Really good and super important tool for us. Using NPAW we detect issues with our service instantly.

Pros

The fast access I get to the data reported by our clients on how their UX is in our streaming service. The ability to drill down into details if needed is amazing!

Cons

The Formula UI, it's impossible to get it right. Good thing I can ask NPAW support to add a formula directly in the BE!

NPAW is great and so are the people at NPAW supporting your every need with rapid respons and understanding. We're looking to expand to further products within NPAW suite.

Pros

I like the flexibility and variety that you can dig out almost anything you aiming for with numerous dimensions, metrics and display it in a way that suits you. Really appreciate the long data retention for historical data as well as snappiness of the service in spite all data crunching going on.

Cons

The threshold for getting started and get right in there could ideally be lower. It takes quite some time and learning before you can start utilizing the power and find what you're looking for from time to time.

At TV 2 Norway, we have used many different tools for the purposes of understanding video playback and troubleshooting. NPAW is the best in terms of detailed data with advanced analysis, flexibility and data retention.

Pros

The detailed data on both video playback and advertising, the fine-grained permissions structure and the ability to customize with formulas and other data sources.

Cons

The UI has a rather steep learning curve, some of the good features are not intuitive

My experience is so positive, their support team is fantastic, fast and efficient. We've centraliced all the analytics tool in one suite. They're improving the software constantly with new features. We made some integrations via APPI and was so satisfying, they technical team helps us with all the process.

Pros

We mainly use the analytics features but we're higlhy interested in the new features incomming of app data or the user map.

Cons

Sometimes the user experience is not the easiest for unfamiliar people and the spread of DNS is slow.

Reason for choosing NPAW Suite

They offer all the features we need from different tools in one, the support team and the technical team have been very close and have helped us a lot with the integrations and the onboarding process.

This year I definitely increase my usage of NPAW so it was a great support for our live operations, also I want give a huge shout out to the team (Jordi, Sara, Michal, Iosu, Till, etc.) for the support since the beginning of the year and to make us see we did the right thing to keep NPAW as a backbone of our video operations after the RFA. They help us to understand better what NPAW can do for us and support us greatly everytime we need it.

Pros

The best thing about NPAW is how it helped us to improve our video quality experience for our users by supporting us on the issues investigation, and how it provides real-time data so we can act in flag any potential issue, and specially to have an overview of our live video operation so we share with relevant stakeholders in order to make business decisions upon it. I'm also specially excited to see further develpments towards AI features so we can optimised our day to day usage of the platform with faster and clean video analysis

Cons

The UI can be improved in some aspects so people from outside of the video knowledge can also make use of it. However I'm excited after triying out the new UI that seems more clear and visually appealing :) I know AI solutions has been a big topic for NPAW this year, however is still not as good as I would like to, so I'm really looking forward to see more about NALA and Sentinel addition in 2025

It permits to continuously improve the service by detecting any deviation on quality or usage in an easy way. Issue prevention is key on a real time service.

Pros

User interface is very easy to use, and very powerful. It permits you to create your own dashboards and reports to monitor the service, detect issues or trend changes, software issues, etc... Possibilities are infinite. Integration was very easy on our devices. Customization is another key feature, as the product can be customized to your service with custom dimensions, formulas, events...

Cons

Sometimes data mining of all this data requieres exporting it outside the tool and use external applications.
